I never thought to apply anything under the car for rust protection until this year. I recently had to replace the transmission pan because it was so rusted. I picked up a can of the Corrosion X HD and it sprays on thick. i also picked up a can of Fluid Film just to compare. For the cost and coverage the Fluid film seems better. but i see Corrosion X has a Corrosion X XD that im going to pick up and try, i want to spray down the engine.

Installed the Greenlane rocksliders on my 22 Tacoma. So glad I got rid of the worthless predator side steps!

does the ladder obstruct or show up in the rear view camera at all? How are you still liking the rack and ladder setup now? Any issues? Searching for a rack/ladder option. Thanks!

Perfect! 👍 I’m getting these exact ones for my ‘05 4-Runner. 0 offset as well. There on backorder though, I’ll be waiting a bit. * update: 6 months later and they’re here! I went with stock tire size 265/65/17 With the wider rim and zero offset, and no plans on lifting, it looks perfect! They’re not too popular here in Michigan, that I can tell, and they’re not blingy at all so most likely not on the criminal’s radar. I also got Gorilla lug nuts to deter thieves a little. Best looking wheels I’ve ever seen!

How are they 3years in? Any corrosion? Im worried steel on aluminum will cause galvanic corrosion.

I just removed this type of filter from my 2004 Dodge 3500. And performance improved dramatically. DON'T USE THESE TYPES OF FILTERS!!!!!!!!!!

No good in the rain

The feet of a roof rack are the most critical component. You really need at least 4 per side to handle dynamic loads. Downward force is a minor issue when compared to the side forces generated when a vehicle sways from side to side on a trail or lousy road. Always add at least one extra set of feet regardless of the brand. Those forces need to be spread out. The reality is that there are only two feet on each side handling lateral loads. That's not enough for rough terrain over extended distances and time.
