I love audiobooks, they allow me to escape into new fantastical worlds, right from home. While i do enjoy reading, an audio book can be so relaxing while drifting off to sleep after a hectic day, or while sitting in a comfortable lazy boy with a cup of tea, or soaking in a warm bath...

Not surprised to learn H.P. Lovecraft was influenced by this guy. Im a big Lovecraft fan and I definitely see some huge similarities. If I didn't know better I woulda guessed some of these stories were written by H.P. The White Ship, Doom that Came to Sarnath, and Dream Quest of Unknown Qaddath, for example, are for SURE influenced by Dunsany. I realize that after listening to this for the first time. Those are my favorites. I love that style of fiction. .....oh. Silver Key too.😇
That hashish story chilled me. I've had experiences almost that dramatic. One time when I was 20 I decided to try eating cannabis instead of smoking. I didn't know how much to use but I knew it took more than it you smoked it for equal effects. So I cooked a whole eighth into some chilli and are it... The next two days I could barely keep myself in my body. Lol I was terrified.
