Hey i just wanted to say thank you for watching and that it really means a lot. Tbh i got a little lost during the reaction but i will be reading all comments because i do want to come back and make another one not being clueless 😊❤
Michael Stipes, former art student and R.EM. lead singer, has explained that "losing my religion" is a Southern expression used to mean losing your temper and/or feeling frustrate and/or desperate-- it's not about religion as we usually use that word. Also...not sure if your reference to the guitar was about the acoustic guitar in the song, or the instrument we see played, but the one we see in the beginning is a mandolin, that the band member (Peter Buck, guitarist) learned how to play because to get some variety/a change from always and only playing the guitar. I've loved R.E.M. for ages. If you want to hear a killer song of theirs that was another huge hit, check out "Everybody Hurts," which has a really unusual and moving video. Here's a link, in case you're interested; I'm betting you'll really like it: ua-cam.com/video/5rOiW_xY-kc/v-deo.html&ab_channel=remhq Thanks for a great, attentive and thoughtful reaction (I didn't have to sub/hit the notific'n button-- did that a while ago, when you were reacting to Bird. :o) ).
