Memories. I never knew the band but their song I recognize from WWE SVR 08. Those were the days omg. I'm recently new to SevenDust. So to here this and recognize one of their songs (which I figured I would come across a familiar track of theirs just like I do with other bands) is amazing. Sevendust all day. They're awesome.
First heard 7D on Smackdown vs Raw.. Been a fan ever since! Being a drummer, Morgan Rose has been very inspirational to some of my own drumming. Epic band!
One of the best bands. Lajon is an AMAZING vocalist. I've seen them every time they come to town and they never disappoint. Clint or Sonny, they always give 200% at their shows.
This band is just so consistently masterful with every song they put out. Exceptional talent. I am so happy I exist in the same era as these guys. I NEED to see them live!!!
Last concert I was at was sevendust opening for godsmack and I'm soooo glad I was able to finally see sevendust live I've been a fan since 1996 and will always be one of my favorite bands ever and hoping this damn pandemic ends soon and I can get another chance to see them live again
This song needs to come out of retirement! Still one of my favs! I've seen 7D 9-times since 2012, and have never seen this performed. I'm holding out hope for Oct 23rd livestream! 🤘🤘
Funny that this, Feed, and Enemy we're my introduction to this band all thanks to WWE and I still claim them as my favorite band of all time. Honestly most of my love of rock music comes from WWE
Plus we also had rock on the radio. There were so many bangers that hit the mainstream. Can't get that anymore with new material, you gotta dig for it.
@@JustSomeKittenwithaGun It's funny because I found one of our local rock stations by accident as I was just surfing through using my new handheld radio, I still remember the first song that I heard on the station: "Headstrong" by Trapt. My family doesn't listen to rock music at all, so it was really rare for me to hear it
First time I heard this was in WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2008, and I've been a Sevendust fan ever since. The entire game's OST put my 12-year-old self onto some of the best bands.Their heavy riffs and intense energy hooked me from the first song I heard, and Sevendust's powerful vocals made me feel alive. From that moment on, I delved deep into their discography, immersing myself in their melodic aggression and heartfelt lyrics. Each track became a personal anthem, fueling my passion for rock music and leaving an indelible mark on my musical journey.
Lajon actually took his R&B/soul influence from his old band Body And Soul then brought it to Sevendust with him, providing a soulful, melodic, powerful sensibility to their sound.
I heard this playing in a restaurant and I didn't know why it sounded so familiar. Then I realized it was in wwe as you all have mentioned in the comments lol.
@Fantasy1084 here, here! i know this was written a while ago, but the words will remain timeless. and kudos to you for having alot of people on your side giving this comment thumbs up.
Sonny was great to have in the band. I feel Sevendust was heavier with him, but its great to have Clint back in the band. Clint is an amazing guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist.
How many individual people out there who listens to this contents pictures of a message which is passing to you you must understand it it's not just music it's also based on reality and you will find that in this music it is a question which is referring to you that you must answer
I dont like making s××× about race, But as a black kid who was shunned for enjoying rock and metal, i was very shocked, happy, fascinated and inspired to find out the singer of this banger was black.
Same… growing up it always felt like if a black person liked rock/metal it was a crime Shoo I enjoyed myself listening to 7D over and over again and loved the fact the singer is black
Does anyone know why the song differs completely from this video to the studio recording off the album Alpha? They sound like 2 different songs and if so what album is this one off of?
WWE Smacknown VS. Raw 2008, I'm still proud to say I still play it to this day.

He's such an amazing singer ❤
Pssst there is more than one from this era. Check out killswitch, lead singer Howard JONES and his side bands.

"Doing time while you had your freedom, believing that you can wash it away." What a song.

The chorus in this song is one of my favorites!
WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW: 2008 and I've been a fan of Sevndust ever since
