I loved darker shades of magic so VE Schwab is an autopsy for me.
There are very few authors that I would blindly buy there books, but quite a few that I will keep informed with what they are releasing to see if it appeals to me

Insta-buy authors for me are Deborah Harkness, Sarah J Maas, Jennifer Armentrout, Diana Gabaldon, Paula Brackston. Just off the top of my head. I did enjoy Riley Sager’s book last year and plan on reading his newest release but I haven’t read any of his previous books yet.
Yes! Deborah Harkness is a good choice. I need to read the rest of the Discovery of Witches series... I loved the first book.
Blake Crouch is an auto-buy author for me.. I will read anything that man writes! I have a few otgers in mind as well but will have to write it later.
I still have yet to read a Blake Crouch, but his books are on my list to read
I have only 3 authors who are insta buy for me: Sofi Oksanen, Jussi Adler-Olsen and Kristina Sabaliauskaitė. I've read all their books and liked them all, so i know that i like their writing and i want all their books on my shelves. Oh and also Elsie Silver is getting there - i'm not a big romace reader (a lot of things annoy me in romance books), but i loved almost all books in her last romance series, so she could become my auto buy romance author.
Also-i hope you will feel better soon.
I keep hearing so much about Elsie Silver that I may have to break down and read some of her books, but her backlist is huge so I have no idea where to start
@@kimberlyreads I read her latest series - Chesnut springs series. I skiped only one of those books because i really hated female character who was main in that book. I hated her since i first met her in first book (she is a sister to girl who is a main girl in first book) and i knew that i will not read her book. But others i liked. Those all are small town romances but i surprisingly liked them :D. I have to check what else she has written and her new book comes out this month.
i only really have leigh bardugo as an insta buy author, and almost v.e. schwab 🤔
I read The Hunger Games trilogy couple years ago and loved it, and one of my current reads is The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (it's my audio read.. my physical read is Light From Uncommon Stars) and The Ballad is soooo boring! 😭
Oh no 😭😭😭😭😭 I love Ballad so much so this makes me want to cry in a hole somewhere😆
