- Опубліковано 14 сер 2024
- Today Gary tastes a wide variety of "THINGS" to show you how important many of the flavors are to training your palate to find them in wine. Have a good weekend.
How great is it to watch these videos 10 years later, before youtube became the worldwide TV.
Lmaooo died at the end with him eating the dirt. Man was always committed to his craft. Love it.
I really like the smell and taste of dirt
This is the most hysterical episode. I love it. He definitely deserved that $180 bottle of crystal.
Most entertaining wine class I've ever had.
Still one of our favorite episodes.
i love gary!! i love that he went from calm to crazy in not that long
Its called cocaine. However, I wouldn't recommend trying it, its highly overrated, as are most illegal drugs. Alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, LSD, and DMT are pretty much the only intoxicating substances on Earth which have positives outweighing their negatives, and only 2 or 3 of those are illegal depending on what state you live in.
Gary is weird, but for a sock tasting jets fan. He’s alright. the more i get know about wine the more i. m impressed by Gary’s wine knowledge and palate
Omg never thought I’d lough so much during an episode of wine library. I definitely have to try this...in multiple sittings 😂
how I stumbled on this random episode is beyond me, BUT. IT. IS. EXACTLY. WHAT. I. NEED. I got my first bartending job earlier this month, and I'm definitely going to be looking into getting a handful of these ingredients to start getting my palate trained up.
What an episode!!!Your are one of a kind Gary, keep doing things like that.
Greetings from Greece.
I miss these videos from Gary.
Seeing this in 2015... and wow man, you are my hero. This is truly amazing. Thanks dude.
I seriously lost it at about 25 and a half minutes!!!! the pepper got in your eye and it well hard core!!!
This is hilarious and I am baffled that he can eat all this stuff so fast. His skittles comparison when tasting wines over the years is a very good way to identify taste and aroma. I also suggest going to a fresh market and smell as many fruits, veggies and herbs as possible
this was one of the funnier things Ive seen in a while -- I love this man
I love this episode more than most.... ahahhahaha... I was out of my seat a few different times. Also, open a fresh can of tennis balls, smell that puppy... I also like to make fruit reductions and smell and taste them. Great work tho
AMAZING! Sweaty socks, white pepper and Jersey dirt FTW :)
This is the best episode
You went all out, Hero is a swiss Jam. So surprised to see you have it over there!
I really enjoy watching you chow down on all the treats :)
This is the best Gary v video ive ever seen, should change "eat shit" to "eat dirt"
great episode, and idea in general. Am going to go and buy myself a load of mini jams.
Thats some hardcore thing man, Gary your are phenomenal!
I had a slightly more violent reaction to eating a habenaro as a dare, an experience to be sure. Great show by the way!
The more you eat paper, the more you eat cork... I lost it.
Talk about dedication. Damn.
Gonzo palate education, I love it!
Such a great episode, I'd love to do a palate party like this
This is brilliant !! great way to understand all those flavour you get with wine, might have to have a go on our show!!
You're a great entertainer. Surprised you haven't been picked up to host a TV show or something.
We, the wine class we are in at Ai in Sac, think you are hilarious!
QOTD: i will fucking do this cause i need to develop my pallet thx a lot Gary !

omgsh i went back and watched this episode; awesome. haha

definitely more into the cranberry than cherry thing in wine
Best episode i have seen. I will have to do this.
White pepper was the best!
Crazy good 🤣
A lot of these aren't available easily where I live. They are available, but I have to probably flip the city upside down to find it. So I think I'll go by how you started tasting - read the tasting notes on the wines and go buy those things from where ever I can... instead of spending time hunting all of these things. Let me know what you think. Great stuff as always.
EAT THE DIRT! hahaha so awesome.
You missed anything that has a smokey profile. Great job!
Yeah, clove paralyzes your mouth... that's exactly why it was used in so much dental stuff. Prob should'a saved that one for last.
Pure gold men..
Ah... man. Remember then and remember now.
Paul Roberts Now I know why gary says “you really gotta eat dirt”.

Who's watching this in 2023?
13:41 Did he eat the sticker lol
hahaha
2017 !!!!!
hahaha
OMG call 911
I cant tell if this is Satire or not
I found this very stupid. Such a waste of food; I guess this was some sort of rich kid or was just never taught not to play with food?
If you are mindful when doing things in your daily life (cooking, take your time when going to the grocery store/market, go out hiking, etc), you can experience way more flavors and aromas than just stuffing your mouth with one thing after the next. A minimum of common sense indicates that our senses can only handle so many sensations at a time. I'm sure you knew that.
bruh. He turned a 3 million dollar wine shop into a 50 million dollar wine company. You cant say anything about his taste in wine or his usage of money.
So having money is an excuse to waste food? I guess that kind of mindset is why the world is the way it is...
+azifri wasting food is bad. but he is using it for educational purposes, he is probably gonna eat a lot of it later, and you don't know shit about wine compared to this guy so don't give him advice on how to do his thing.
Why are you so butthurt?
