Too much time wasted on removing the panels and no time spent on removal or replacement of switch.

You're pretty good and you probably already know this, but figured I would mention it here for others. 9 times out of 10 you can remove these pressure switches and use Either or brake cleaner to shoot up inside the sensors opening at the end for about 30 seconds and then tap the entire sensor on the concrete on the same end really hard a few times and bring them right back to life. It is usually particles that clog the sip screen inside the sensor. I learned this after my 3rd year at the dealership from another senior tech.

Excellent suggestion! Gets back to having fresh fluid and regular maintenance of your transmission. Thank you

You should have gone by removing the battery and battery plate instead, much easier and less time with more easier access.

I think by adding music and not talking, your not teaching people on how to do the job.

bad video. Not show the location of the switch at all. That is why there is so low hits.

So did you replace it? How long did it take you?

dorozco35 Yea we replaced it. Took longer to find the location due to it being dark and extremely cold then actually replacing it. Removing and replacing the sensor took 15 minutes. The sensor was snapped so it took a couple extra minutes to remove. Replacing was easy

THE ORANGE DEN GARAGE cool. Thanks for the reply. I’ll be doing this next week on my 2012 Pilot. Any helpful clues will be appreciated.

You’re welcome! Be careful with the sensor it is fragile. If you have anymore questions about it feel free to send another message and we will help you!

Where do you buy the switch and the 10mm crush washer?

    • @condor5635

First it is not a switch. It is a sensor. Second it is a Honda Pilot. Maybe a good place to buy would be … at a Honda dealer?

That is the A switch. Same process different location below air intake box which you have to remove to access. But same sensor process different part
