Thank you very much for this po. Nagkataon lang na I stumbled upon one of your videos then decided to see your channel kasi I love your advice, wisdoms, and the way you talk po. Then I saw this, kaya thank you po. You don't know how much this has helped me po right now kasi I am currently deciding weather to shift to other program or to stay. My parents, especially my father, encourages me to shift po (he's encouraging me to take nursing pero open padin siya if ever I choose a different one) kasi I know that he is concerned sa akin, kung kaya ko ba or nahihirapan naba talaga ako. With my grades sa Major subs na 1 out of 4 lang pumasok sa cutoff nung 1st sem (I am a 1st year BSA po btw) then 1out of 4 lang kinuha ko na major sub ngayong 2nd sem kasi I was really contemplating na and then di ko gusto mag spend ng maraming pera for something that I am not sure of, although supportive parents ko. Then yung isang major sub na tinake ko sa 2nd sem hindi pa pumasok sa cutoff. Even if mataas grades ko sa minor almost 1.0 lahat, wala rin pag major ko below 2.0. I admit po, that as a STEM graduate who was a consistent honor student and is new to the world of Accountancy, learned helplessness took a toll on me which affected my academic performance in my major subjects (I guess I developed a mental health problem along the way) but now I learned some of my mistakes and is determined to bounce back and become better. Ayun gusto ko lang ilabas yung nararamdaman ko kasi I feel like kaya ko sana pero bakit hindi. Totoo po sinabi niyo about yung feeling na ito lang ang daan para maging successful kasi, right now, I really think na ito lang ang makakapag bigay sa akin ng opportunity to become successful. Maybe that is why I can't let go with this program even if mababa grades ko. I just felt po kasi na I did not gave my 100% during my 1st year in the program. Factor na din po kasi I was looking for other career path nung 1st sem palang kaya I was not able to focus on my journey nung 1st until 2nd sem. I am actually thinking of transferring to other school pero as a BSA parin kasi my current school 4 years lang while the other schools 5 years po sa kanila. I somehow blame our school po hahhaha kasi 4 major subjects na binibigay nila sa 1st year every sem samin while other schools is 2 lang and may summer (although wala kaming summer sa current uni ko, pero we would eventually take summer to retake hhahahhah). I think kasi palaging nasa top ng CPALE ang current uni ko kaya mejo advance and strict sila. But, then again, I realized na baka same lang naman kahit sang school ako and baka mas better na I was exposed earlier sa grueling curriculum ng current uni ko. Natatakot lang din po kasi ako mag transfer because my current university is the top among all the universities in our place, kasali nga po siya sa top 10 universities in the Philippines, and it's hard to let go a great privilege. Pero okay lang din naman ang lilipatan kong uni, if ever, kasi ksali din siya sa top performing uni ng CPALE. Ang dami ko nang nasabi AHHAHAHAH Pero I would like to ask you po, should I continue? How will I tell my parents especially my father seems to be fixed sa thought na mag nursing ako? What should I do po? Once, again po thank you for making this video and I hope this finds you well. I can't make a decision for you kasi ikaw lang solely magbebear ng risks and benefits.
Although, as you have said that you come from a top University, expect the journey to be hard even if you're a very smart student. Yung risks include 1) not making it sa qualis (if multiple qualies sainyo), 2) quitting halfway, 3) not having a high GPA once you graduate, and 4) not passing the CPA exam.
But assuming maovercome mo yung four risks na yan, the benefits are so high that it's worth it. Just prepare yourself for the worst and be prepared to spend sleepless nights, studying during weekends, and giving up a lot for the sake of passing BSA.
With regards to your Parents, I believe majority of our Parents only wants the best for us, so having a serious discussion with them matters kasi sila din magsusupport sayo throughout. Reason out things with them and reconsider if you still want to take the risk.
But if you have the full support of your Parents, yun ung pinakaideal scenario kasi mahirap magproceed kapag walang support ng Parents.
Also, check mo din ung long term progression ng Nursing at ng CPA, I believe best na piliin mo ung alam mong may purpose ka, may motivation ka, at magaling ka sa field na un.

Also, on how you tell them, just be opem and sincere and show them that tbe course you want is where you will thrive in in the future.
Just be transparent, reasonable, and factual.

Although, hindi ko pa kasi natry ung bridging program so I can't really give a comment sorry. 🙏

1. Get a copy of the topics that will show in the qualis
2. Identify items that you find easy and difficult
3. Allot more items to understand the difficult parts
4. Cover the easy items you find
5. Make sure you covered all items
6. Try teaching the topic to your friends to master the topic more

Yes pwde naman, although, di ko suggested na gawin niyo to unless ung lilipatan niyo na school mataas ung passing rate.
