9 Rear Stabiliser / Sway Bar Side Link Rubbers Replacement (Will They Last?) My Pajero Sport

- In this video I replace the worn out rear stabiliser bar (sway bar / RSB) side link rubbers with some bushes I found on AliExpress.
It's a small experiment to see if they are durable so I'm not saying you should try them yourself.
This is an easy job that most people can do.

Greetings and welcome to My Pajero Sport.
This channel is devoted to my 2016 Mitsubishi QE Pajero Sport. In other countries it's also known as a Shogun Sport or a Montero Sport.
I've never owned a "proper" 4WD before so this will be an adventure to share with you.
I have owned a Subaru Liberty / Legacy Gen 2 AWD.
When I was an apprentice motor mechanic I did a lot of work on Land Rovers (Series 2 & 3), Land Cruiser FJ40 and 6WD Nubian fire engines.
I've also had several AWD SUVs such as the Holden Captiva, Mitsubishi Outlander and Subaru Outback but they were fully maintained company cars and I didn't do much more than put fuel in them.
I haven't swung on a spanner professionally for 30+years so expect some poor choices, mistakes and downright stupidity.
I'm sure it will be fun.
Thx, good video. The torque required is a bit misleading in the beginning, good you mention it towards the end that it is for the second nut. For info, the stock bushings are same size as your aftermarket ones. Take care
Thx
Very helpful thank you
You're welcome
thanks for that vid, I'm about to do mine except i trying the Superpro bushes
They are supposed to be good and the full kit allows for some adjustment.
I've done 16k on mine and they look OK
Hi, where did you get the service manual.
Do you have links in ali express for this, but hard to find this stuff.
how are they holding now sir?
I recently finished a half lap around Australia including a lot of dirt roads and 4WDing. About 18,000km so far. They are still good. Even I'm surprised.
@@bradleygray2103 thanks a lot

Do i need to jack it up?
Not necessarily.
As long as you can get in there.
Did you lift the vehicle to make te change?
I had my car on stands doing another job but it's not necessary to do that.
