Not only is your furniture exceptionally well designed and crafted, but despite being half way around the world, it feels like I'm sitting on a stool right next to you learning and understanding the art of woodwork. So thank you for that.

Hello my friend. How are you? I hope all is well in South Korea. I couldn’t help but have a smile on my face whilst watching this. There’s something about projects like this really makes me want to try and make one. Your design is so elegant, but has really beautiful details such as the little tenons going into the domino mortice, the curved and flat shape on the legs, the little wedge to hold the rail in place… even the way you made the rails with a router; which is a fantastic idea by the way. When you put the finish on them at the end and made the grain pop, it really brought them to life. I must say that this was probably one of my favourite build videos from you so far. Your editing has come on leaps and bounds and you just show the right amount of detail whilst giving beautifully lit and well positioned shots. I take my hat off to you Sir; you truly are an inspiration, a genuine craftsman and an artist. All the best to you and your family.
friend! I'm doing well.^^ I pondered for a long time to find simple, solid and beautiful lines. It feels good because many people support and like me, so my efforts are recognized. What I can do well I think about ways to have fun while doing it. I am humble, I am not complacent, and I want to do my best in this work. South Korea is getting hot right now. Always take care of your health and have a great weekend, my friend!
As always, you have done everything perfectly, and without regard as to how much work and time is involved. Perhaps it is time to write to Santa and ask for a lathe and a router table? (You're scaring me with that hand held router!) Best wishes as always my friend. Gorgeous work!
I don't know if you understand, but I have a router table. (I like trimmers and hand routers.) The wooden lathe was sold 2 years ago (for reasons of space) With this work, I feel the need for a wooden lathe again. Still, it was difficult to make the sticks by hand, but it was a fun time. As always.. Greetings from South Korea!
It was great seeing how the three-legged bar stool was made. What made me amzed is the angle of leg and how the mortising machine did the job. Is there any method how to do it without the mortising jig. Maybe with just the hand drill and chisel?
Such beautiful work as always. Would you have preferred to make the the foot rests on a wood lathe ? From my experiences I would think a lathe would be easier and quicker, but I would also worry about chipping.
Yes. It would have been much easier if I had a wooden lathe. However, as I wrote in the main text, I wanted to use a new spoke shaver, and I wanted to make furniture with other hand tools. It was fun enough and it was a bit of a difficult time ^^; (Looking around the site to buy a wooden lathe.) Thank you for watching.

I'm a little lacking in angle calculation. It's not in the video, but I think I got the angle through many tests. It doesn't seem like a special angle. I just set up a regular blade to drill the exact hole and drilled the hole.
What size of square stock did you use for the legs? Also, what size was the router bit to round them over? Great work! Amazing craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing.
