I know others have said it but I will too. For the bga chips you should put down some flux and do a quick reflow. This will make sure any corrosion hiding under the chip is taken care of. Otherwise it could come back and you have a faulty device again.

Joey after cleaning apply flux and hot air to the areas that has bga and ics to release potential corossion under them and it will work for years

I bought a faulty Acer C302c Chromebook for under £10 inc postage. Charger with it too!
Was a milk spillage, so after I removed PCB gave a good clean it all worked perfect!
Did notice battery was bulging so I removed it.
But nice picture, touchscreen too. Best bargain of 2022

Can you dunk the whole pcb into an ultrasonic cleaner? I’ve heard there’s some components that you shouldn’t put in an US cleaner like crystal oscillators

Joey, you have said a few times that the best way to clean the boards is with and ultrasonic cleaner. Is there any reason why you don't use one? And I assume you mean a tank?

i think it,s time you got yourself a cheap ultra sonic cleaner ,and some De-ionised water and circuit board cleaning solution . could easily be done for under 60 quid . nice job

Cor, you were really lucky with that second one! You caught it just in time - any further and that liquid damage would have caused corrosion and damaged some of the components.
This is why it is essential to clean any items that have been in contact with liquid!
