to any people this year doin this its kinda whacky so like in NR most of the questions are based on like time, distance, speed - ratios - really basic number sequences and grids - and some algebraic worded problems. Hi!! I really don't mean to be offensive, but in literally every one of your videos, you say you haven't achieved what you wanted e.g. you failed SHS, you didn't get the ATAR you wanted AND you didn't clear JMSS, so what is really the point of watching if we don't know if it works? Please reply, because it is a genuine question
Hi, in regard to this topic. I just wanted to share my experiences with everything that I've done. As to why you should watch? Well, it's because I have helped and tutored students to get into JMSS and EBSS regardless of my results. I genuinely believe that I can help other students with entrance into selective schools. However, this isn't the case with VCE as I don't think I am capable of providing any sort of helpful study or academic advice. If you don't find what I say to be helpful or do not think it works then that is entirely up to you. Sure, I might say I didn't achieve what I wanted at the time. But, I still want to just share my process regardless of the results. Would I say I am disappointed? Every now and then for a small period of time but, I just think that maybe some things were not meant to be and that my values have shifted elsewhere. I hope this clarifies a lot of your concerns.
Bro i swear to god, stop doing this, this is like your 100th comment asking what the answer is, become smart so you know the answer, stop bloody asking us, i swear to god
Hi, great video. Just wondering if there is much need for the use of a calculator? I’ve also heard that the test itself isn’t as hard as this checklist, do yo if the standard has changed, or is this guide just supposed to prepare you as much as possible, keep up the great work!
hey Nathan, you aren't allowed to use a calculator. As for the actual content it's still a great guide to follow. In regards to Maths, majority of the topics listed will be on the exam but the mains ones are between Algebra-Linear Relationships. All the other topics are just 1-2 questions that could pop up. As for the rest, Science changes every year but focuses more on skills rather than knowledge. Ideally you do want to have a great understanding of year 7-10 science. Numerical adds some new number patterns but the ones I've listed are still relevant. I hope this helps
Hey, Jayce I have a question about your video. In the science reasoning will they always give background information about the questions or just give you the question like the examples in your video. Also, about the essays, I have heard that you get one prac report and one informative piece. Which one is the "Analysis and Overview" and which one is the "Interest and Communication". Thanks a lot for your help.
Will there still be informative and procedural writing if the year 10 exam is online (which it most likely will be)? Because i heard that the year 11 online exams this year did not have writing and instead had some science paper, science reasoning, numerical reasoning and mathematics.
@@cyrusfr I might make videos for JMSS prep cause many people are curious about it. But in the interview there are two parts one is group and one is individual. For the group they gave certain survival materials (eg: matchsticks and food items ) and order them from most important to least important. They check how u contribute with others and also ur own decision making skills. For the individual interview they asked about what career u are looking to do (I said I wanted to be a pharmaceutical scientist) and they just asked general questions about some awards u have and also people that you look up to
