Jerry, I’m glad you do the burn test. I frequently weld and I can’t tell you how many IPhone screens I have ruined because I left my phone out on the work bench and a piece of slag got on it
I'd still want to wait for some sort of glass that makes it so the folded side doesn't get marred by every little thing. I think the small gap that Galaxy has is beneficial, because even if it does cause a slight raise/bump in the middle between the two halves, you could stick a hard glass screen protector on either side to get that hardness without affecting the way it folds. What annoys me the most about both this and Galaxy's folders is the fact that they're only making two things better with the larger phone: Screen real estate, and battery life. If you've got so much more space to work with, then do something with it - make the higher price justified! I'd love to see what one of the gaming phone companies could do with this shell, adding fans, integrated io, an os integrated controller? Imagine a Nintendo ds emulator on one of these! It's basically ASKING for it!
How about a friggin' SD card slot and headphone jack? You know - basic features that EVERY PHONE should have? Oh wait, no. Still can't have those features. No headphone jack allowed because companies need to sell overpriced low quality wireless buds, and no SD card allowed because why should the end user be allowed to expand their storage if they need to? Buy a new phone with more storage! And then there are moronic consumers who praise the removal of these features. 🤦♂️
Actually, having the phone fold effectively makes it have even less space than it would if it were a conventional phone. It's hard to tell unless you're holding one in your hand but a large part of a foldable phone is dedicated to the hinge. That's why the screen on the Galaxy Folds had to be so narrow. And when you factor in having to tack phone components around so that they are only in one half of the phone, it eats up a ton of room. The phone is also already Uber heavy as it is. By necessity. I do know for fact though that Samsung could have fit an SPen in the Fold 3 but they are holding it back because of the enormous lead rhey have in the market
Why is destroying Phones with a calm voice more relaxing than actual videos made for relaxing... Perfect combo of humor, chill vibes and absolute carnage!
If only the Oppo Find N had an SD card slot and or dual SIM, and or a headphone jack, this would be the FOLDABLE phone for me! I love the full screen on the outside, the power button(fingerprint combo) and volume rockers being on the same side, and the smaller footprint compared to the other folding phones! The rest of the specs are pretty damn awesome! SD 888, 12GB of RAM, and 4,500MaH battery! Pretty healthy numbers! Maybe the next version might have a headphone jack and SD card slot...or maybe I'm just wishfully thinking.
Fold 3 user here and I disagree that it's novelty, but it's also not necessity; there is a lot of utility that comes from having such a large screen with me at all times, very versatile. As for durability, they still scratch easy but drop resistance is excellent for a folding display which is great.
This. These devices would be objectively superior IF durability and reliability was comparable to normal phones. That's all I'm waiting for at this point before adopting, honestly!
@@MickehPuppeh Yeah for sure, and honestly their durability is still solid in many ways, it's just that screen being relatively easy to scratch that is rough to deal with.
Maybe because the main objective is to sell folding screens than make a good folding phone for Samsung. Like he always do by selling screen for Apple after they show the possibility of their technology with the S series.
As I use my Fold3 mainly for reading ebooks, the hinge bothers me very little as it feels like I'm reading a physical book I still like Oppo's hinge idea better though, but only if the hinge isn't visible at all. If it is visible even slightly, I think the broader hinge would drive me crazy lol
I absolutely love my Z Fold 3. You convinced me to buy it with your durability test video. Though i'm usually pretty careful with my electronics anyway
4:17 - sorry but why necessity of mentioning coins here? No one in their right mind would ever drop coins on their screen nor would they put the phone unfolded in their pocket.
I got the Flip 3 around Thanksgiving and am really impressed so far. While it's not exactly what I want, the more people that hop on the trend, the more companies will see it is what consumers want, and there will be more improvements and competition, which will help drive the prices down.
I don’t think it’s fair to ever expect foldable phones to be in the same price range as regular phones, that being said I still think they need to do more to justify the higher price tag, particularly with the creasing and screen toughness. Hopefully greater minds can overcome this hurdle, it’s the only thing stopping me buying a foldable at the minute.

People like to think the inner screen is more fragile than it actually is on folding phones. I've had my fold for 6 months now and the screen looks brand new still, and I'm not being overly careful
you're right about pricing being the barrier between novelty and everyday use... take VR for example... it used to be so bloody expensive to get in it that there weren't really that many games or use for VR until the quest 2 and PS VR came in and changed that real quick... then we got half life alyx which just boosted VR popularity even further. Where is mi 11 ultra teardown🤔?
6:44
I guess those Apps are definitely "hot" after the burn test :D
Nice catch
The dust test is pretty realistic. Im an engineer and I work is dusty and muddy locations often so I can definitely appreciate the dust resistance.
the neatness and the colors of the tools on the desk... wow!
Recently, smartphones are doing one to one like clones. A couple of years ago, each smartphone surprised buyers with its zest, but time flies very quickly...
Smartphones haven't looked cool or different in ten years
@@-ThatGuy- I like to think my Oppo Reno 2 with its shark fin camera is pretty unique
The only time I saw a unique phone was when the s8 dropped. But now it's an iPhone clone fest.
@@LeonCamero Considering there's news Apple will move to a hole punch display, looks like it's about time it's not just "Apple clones" anymore. iPhones will look more like Android devices
Hello friend how are you.?
I'd love for you to create a simple drop-test machine, where you can drop it perfectly from a set height on the front, back, corner (oh boy), and side.
"Glass is glass" may first smartphone was pure plastic. My friend tryed google skymap, and he droped it from 2 meters to the road. No cracs some scratch. Still workong. (sony Ericsson x8)
as for form factor, i think the Flip 3 is quite unbratable, but as an overall productivity/media consuming smartphone the Fold 3 is quite the king
I would like to tell you that you have one of the best Broadcasting voice on UA-cam. And anybody else doing this comes nowhere close to what you do. Great videos. God bless you 🙏🏽 😇
Jerry, I’m glad you do the burn test. I frequently weld and I can’t tell you how many IPhone screens I have ruined because I left my phone out on the work bench and a piece of slag got on it
Did jerry put hindi in the caption of this video or is it just me?
Yeah what's up with that?
And then on the smaller phones (zflip 3) the battery suffers and cannot be justified at the price :/
It’s only using a 4400mAH battery on the fold that’s normal size battery. Some use 5000-6000.
Hello friend how are you.?
Would like to see how folding phones fare when twisting the two halves while closed.
The "Oreo" test, perhaps?
Why is destroying Phones with a calm voice more relaxing than actual videos made for relaxing...
Perfect combo of humor, chill vibes and absolute carnage!
this man is so intimidating i literally watch all his sponsors by fear.
This is probably the first folding phone I'm considering buying...
I always feel that rollable has a better future than foldable.
i dunno this comment might age poorly
What a jingle at 5:04
This type of jingle can only come from JerryRigEverything
Jerry baptised that phone with dust.
Wow! It survived the bend test! That's something to say about durability of Oppo! 🎉
5:49
am i high or did he say Apple find N
He said it! and you are not on high!
Looks like both of you are high
I've got my own z flip 3 and i really like it, takes up very little space folded and when taking pictures using it as a tripod
I just love this phone , beautiful yet elegant yet durable
You know it's going to be good when the box does not even scratch with the razer
I like how other manufacturers are coming up with better folding phone design opposed to Samsung selling the same thing with minor tweaks
Maybe because the main objective is to sell folding screens than make a good folding phone for Samsung. Like he always do by selling screen for Apple after they show the possibility of their technology with the S series.
As I use my Fold3 mainly for reading ebooks, the hinge bothers me very little as it feels like I'm reading a physical book
I still like Oppo's hinge idea better though, but only if the hinge isn't visible at all. If it is visible even slightly, I think the broader hinge would drive me crazy lol
7:24 i'm done.
I absolutely love my Z Fold 3. You convinced me to buy it with your durability test video. Though i'm usually pretty careful with my electronics anyway
its adorable how Kingpin is so passionate about smartphones
4:17 - sorry but why necessity of mentioning coins here? No one in their right mind would ever drop coins on their screen nor would they put the phone unfolded in their pocket.
5:36 oddo
I got the Flip 3 around Thanksgiving and am really impressed so far. While it's not exactly what I want, the more people that hop on the trend, the more companies will see it is what consumers want, and there will be more improvements and competition, which will help drive the prices down.
Hello friend how are you.?
It's not what consumers want. It's what trend chasers want.
"But the spine, which is signed; 'DESIGNED FOR FIND'', bear in mind, the grind shall leave behind, silver, straight line" Dope!
My earholes have been pleasured by your rumbly soothing vocal chords. Thank you. Content 2nd to the eargasms.
Actually i'm not fan those foldable phones.
@@skullhien that’s okay, if we didn’t have a different taste in tech there wouldn’t be so many varieties
@@sanslik5141 yeah good point.
My favorite so far is by far the samsung galaxy fold 3.
I've lost quite a good number of coins in the current dip,I just hope I find a way to recover from such a massive loss.
I've been trading crypto with Mr Benjamin Lincoln for over a year now and I've made a whooping profit of about $86,000 in crypto it's not much but I'm ok with the progress since I now make a whole lot from the comfort of my bed.
Pls 🙏 tell me how I can contact Mr Lincoln I've lost a lot of money trying to trade on my own 😭
I think trading is easier with a proper guidance, especially from a professional it really helps reduce the chance of running into losses.
I'd really love to invest in Bitcoin I heard it's the best coin in the market
I've got 12th winning thanks to Mr Benjamin Lincoln he's really the best, I've made £16,400 in 18 days working with him
6:05 best plot twist I heard for a long time.
Loved the double entendre around 2:32.
I want a tablet pretty bad. Folding phones could fill the gap I'd be willing to jump to instead of a tablet. But price and durability keeps me away.
tablets are not the way
@@hellobye5952 I love reading( web browsing and consuming media aswell) and it would be nice to have something big and easy on my eyes. So for me it's atleast part of the way lol. I don't like having my phone really close to my face with limited realestate to work with.
@@jet613 get a Mac or some laptop, u can get way more usage, tablets are just not really as useful as a phone or laptop
@@hellobye5952 Maybe for you. In my case I already have a laptop, it's a 2 in 1 aswell. I have the phone and gaming computer. A tablet would be perfect for me. Maybe it wouldn't for you or many others.

❤I love this video at large but starting the YEAR with a GREAT INVESTMENT should be the wisest thing every individual should do. I will advice everybody who is into crypto to stick with ETH and BTC as much as you can guys.If everyone sells when it starts to fall, which at one point it will, the dream maybe lost because of it being too volatile for companies to get behind.
@Alan Holland I heard a lot of investing with Mr Bryan Nelson and how good he is, please how safe are the profit?
My first investment with Mr Bryan Nelson gave me $24,300 and that has made me invest without the fear of losing, I got four of my friends that I referred to him and they are making profit just like me. May God bless Mr bryan nelson
That rhyme he left behind when continuing with the grind was divine
I like this phone for many reasons: comfortable size and not over-sized like most of it's competitors, one hand operatable, pocketable etc. etc. But the million dollar question is if there is an international version available for the world market or only released for the Chinese market ? Hope you'd enlighten us about this. Thanks for you great video.
Who else hate this 4:45
Not me lol, my ears surprisingly don't mind this, even though I'm sensitive to loud noises
First one here 🙈
Hi bro hey
Monké
Mookee
I think you are right they are at this stage a novelty .
The thing that puts me off is the durability of the soft screen I think after a few months of of normal use the screen would look a mess
after a few months is still ok and it s always protected when folded
So this is my second video of yours. I love your attention to detail with putting this phone to the test. I have been considering a flip phone, but was unsure what to expect. Thank you for doing this video, now to watch the Samsung Z flip video.
i love how jerry is more lively in his vids, he was a genuine robot lol
People like to think the inner screen is more fragile than it actually is on folding phones. I've had my fold for 6 months now and the screen looks brand new still, and I'm not being overly careful
you're right about pricing being the barrier between novelty and everyday use... take VR for example... it used to be so bloody expensive to get in it that there weren't really that many games or use for VR until the quest 2 and PS VR came in and changed that real quick... then we got half life alyx which just boosted VR popularity even further. (kinda forcefully tho since almost everybody loves half life)
This is one channel where I always just listen to the audio. I cannot bear to watch the damage.
One of the tests which can be included are drop tests, those are the most a user would do
What do you do with the phone boxes, the phones, and the accessories after durability and teardown testing
This hurts me so much on the inside, but I keep coming back for more. 😀
Waiiit a second... At 5:49, does Zack call the Oppo find N, The "APPLE" find N???
😂 I guess he reeaaaly wants apple to make a foldable too.
Would have liked to see how many times it can open and close before the hinge fails as well as how it does under water.
I had the chance to get the fold 3 for half off and snagged it. Do not regret the trade in at all 😁
My phone is a Z flip 3 5g and I'm very happy with it. It's probably the best smartphone I've ever held in my hands, so I'm a true believer in foldables
There was no reason this had to be this calming haha
Could you please make a durability test of the Vivo X70 pro plus (maybe in the Vegan leather version).
