  • I made a slight mistake which has caused the Leon to be bricked for the last 3months… This has also intern enabled a puddle to form and Mild to take over the interior, if anyone has any advice I am all ears on how to safely remove mold!

Cam sensor if it was bad would usually throw a P0341 code which is sensor out of range or a P0340 a circuit error, another thing about the PPD170 the injectors are known for failing and struggling to give enough fuel to actually kick in

Appreciate the comment and guidance, will have a look and get them tested 👍 weirdly it runs flawlessly once up and running just hates starting

Neat white vinegar will do the job, warm water doesn't kill germs.

Just got my 08 leon PD170 back today, had the same sensor replaced and she starts on the button every time. Hopefully it fixes your issue too

@@JSMKYT Mine had warm start issues, where it just wouldn’t start if it was warm. With cold start, it would run but would be rough for the first few seconds. Drove fine while the faulty sensor was in. Fixed now and have had no issues since
