- Thanks to Abquintic, I have my hands on the newest Jolt to hit the NERF line... the Alpha Strike Uppercut, and it's the worst NERF Blaster I have ever seen. Not only is it difficult to obtain, it's as expensive as the Alpha Strike stinger... which is a Jolt... so I'm really confused why this thing even exists. Despite being a HAMP, it functions with a spring to reset the plunger... despite the fact it's a single shot blaster... it's so confusing.

This is WAY worse than the deploy. The deploy can atleast be broke down for springs and extra shell plastic. Oh and it has the self contained magwell which is super useful for modding. This thing is literally useless.
'Will It HAMP' should be a series and Walcom should do it. Like if you agree.
Where we take the catch and trigger out of every blaster and see if it's better or worse than the freakin' Uppercut.

I actually think the Elite 2.0 Warden is the worst blaster ever, this clearly wasn’t meant to be a performance blaster, it was made as a fun little gimmicky toy. The Warden WAS meant to be a performance blaster AND was marketed as such, at least with this people will buy this for fun and not performance.
I want to see them make a real cheap HAMP shotgun, maybe using the new shells. Something stupid but fun, maybe with the HAMP system from the demolisher to really get some range out of it
At least tou could take the warden back if it broke.

I was a kid when the original jolt came out and I can confirm, I did have fun. Outperformed almost everything on the market at that time, was glorious.
When I first got a Jolt, I fired it across my hallway, and it hit a closed door all the way at the other side.
Nerf can not mess up a jolt

@@WalcomS7 you make a fair point. I think with this new jolt “reskin” they wanted to make it a melee weapon. Like it’s a set of brass knuckles or something. The name would make more sense.

They could've made the spring a tension spring instead of a compression spring.
That way, even without a trigger, all you'd have to do to fire effectively is to release the plunger rod.

Great review walcom. This is thing is definitely laughable. I can see it being fun in an awfuls round though, where everyone has one of these and you're just missing constantly.

I think at this point if Hasbro is even going to try and make a budget blaster, they should just make another blowdart re-skin. A blowdart can be accurate, powerful, simple....? why not?
