I came across your music through the boys of the dead south. I am so happy I did because you are an incredibly talented woman! Keep picking like a goddess! Much love regina Saskatchewan!
I usually don't listen this kind of music until I got you know through the dead south. You are so natural and one of the best banjo player in the world. Soo enjoyable listing to your music.
You prolly dont care but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any help you can offer me!
Because I like Dead South & Devil Makes Three I wanted to find more of the same so I clicked on someones list of Alt-country, Outlaw Country, Folk, & Bluegrass & discovered Eliza. This video drew me in & never let go. She has that bluegrass voice. She rides a bike, cool, she places banjo, cool. I now want to watch more of her videos!
Eliza, like many others I first saw your talent when you performed with the Dead South and then discovered you were an artist in your own right. I have to say this track is superb but your banjo playing in general is amazing. I then discovered that you arrange C.A.M.P.S and sessions for kids in order to get them active in music and what a great attitude to have when you take your talent and use it to help so many others, many of whom may be disadvantaged. You remind me of the words spoken by Denzel Washington: "Don't aspire to make a living, aspire to make a difference". My daughter plays guitar (and I think she's actually quite good) and I recommended she listens to your music for inspiration. She's not really into banjo music yet thought this track was amazing. Keep up the good work :)
Dear Eliza! Im write from Hungary. (Its a small country in Europe) Your music touch my heart. After this, i saw that you play with The Dead houth as well.,iI have not other words, that I wish you all the best!!! Kind Regards: Imre Juhasz from Hungary!
I saw you playing with The Dead South in Oklahoma City. For the whole concert, I was completely transfixed by your picking. I decided to look you up today, and I'm really really impressed. Hope you're having fun on the tour!
The Antichrisp I think you should do it! I wrote this song when I was quitting my job and going in an extended road trip down south, I’m glad you picked up the sentiment!
Dear Eliza! im from a far country,(Hungary, Europe) but when i heard your song i knew, what is REAL country music! Im very happy, that you connected to the Dead South team, because i realy hope that you will increase they music quality( i think, they are VERY good now) I wish you happy and succesfull future!! Greetings from Hungary!
Went looking for Winnebago - Cheating on your Heart - and ended up here...lucky me, what a treat. Moody, melodic and finger picking good,; congratulations and best wishes from the UK.
Occasionally UA-cam's algorithms get it right. Listening to some alt country while doing some marking and suddenly this starts. Forget the marking, see who it is that's playing-listen to it a few times-you've got yourself another fan Eliza.
Stumbled onto your music after listening to the Dead South. Your voice is incredible and your music is really moving. Just wanted to say that... And it has nothing to do with the pint of whiskey I ingested prior to this comment.... Cheers.
It was nice to meet cha at The Dead South concert in Oberlin Ohio 2017. Your a sweet lady that can play the hell outta the banjo. Thanx so much for the autograph means a lot to me.
I'm late to the party. ;) I also first heard you play with The Dead South, online only, I'm in the UK. From there I looked for your solo material. A long time ago my "beautiful day for running away" was wet too, but I left and I've never looked back. The memory of that day was lost after I sustained a brain injury in a bike accident. You brought it all back, and I sincerely thank you for that. Keep picking.

The 1st time I heard this wonderful song I thought the 2nd verse began with... "Look again the rain is pouring down Aint got no friends in this forlorn town." I realised on the 2nd listen that I had misheard, but I think my incorrect lyric works almost as well as the genuine one. ;)

BE PROUD.. THERES ONLY ONE ELIZA MARY DOYLE. AND SHES QUITE A PERSON.. THIS A GREAT SONG. UR SWEET..
This is the kind of country music that I wish was popular today. Pop-country is a blight.
I miss story-telling country being the norm.
Pop country and that so called country rap shit, isn't popular with country music fans, it's just being shoved down our freakijng throats.

Your tied down when you think you’re free
