1985-ൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം തരംഗിണി സ്റ്റുഡിയോവിൽ വെച്ച് "കാണാൻ കൊതിച്ചു " എന്ന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി ശുഭാപ്തി വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ റെക്കോർഡിങ്ങ് കഴിഞ്ഞ വളരെ പ്രതീക്ഷാഭരിതമായ സുന്ദര ഗാനമാണിത്.

സ്നേഹാമൃതം നിത്യം പങ്ക് വെയ്ക്കാം ഇനി

നല്ലൊരു ഗാനം!
കേൾക്കാനെന്തൊരു സുഖമാണ്. ഗാനം കേട്ട് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ മനസ്സിലെ ഭാരങ്ങളൊക്കെയും അറിയാതെ താനേ പിണങ്ങി ഇറങ്ങിപ്പോയത് പോലെ!

മൂന്നു പതിറ്റാണ്ടിന് ശേഷവും ദൃശ്യവത്കരിക്കപ്പെടാതെ പോയ ഈ ഗാനങ്ങളിന്നും മാഞ്ഞു പോകാതെ ജനകോടികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്നു. പുതിയ തലമുറകളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചിടത്തോളം ഈ ഗാനത്തിലെ ഓരോ വാക്കുകളും ദാമ്പത്യ ജീവിത ബന്ധത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഒരു തിരിച്ചറിവായിട്ടാണല്ലോ അവരിതിനെ ഇന്നും സ്വീകരിച്ച് പോരുന്നത്.
ഈ ചിത്റത്തിന്റെ അണിയറയിലന്ന് അണിഞ്ഞൊരുങ്ങാൻ തയ്യാറായവരിൽ പലരും മൺമറഞ്ഞു പോയെങ്കിലുമീ ഗാനത്തിനൊരിക്കലും മരണമില്ലല്ലോ എന്നതല്ലേ നിജം!
ഗാനരചിയിതാവായ മാഷ് മലയാളികളുടെ ഓർമ്മയിൽ എന്നുമെന്നും ഈ ഗാനത്തിലൂടെ പുഞ്ചിരി തൂകി നില്കുന്നത് തെളിഞ്ഞു കാണാം!
മലയാള സിനിമാ രംഗത്ത് ഇത് പോലെ എത്രയോ സുന്ദര ഗാനങ്ങൾ ചിത്രീകരിക്കാതെ ഇന്നും കാറ്റിലൂടെ ഒഴുകി വന്ന് ശ്രോതാക്കളെ തഴുകി തലോടിപ്പോകുന്നത് ഓർക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ലല്ലോ?
അനശ്വരമായ ഈ ഗാനം ജനിക്കാൻ കാരണക്കാരായ എല്ലാവരെയും നമിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് നന്ദികളർപ്പിക്കട്ടെ!
