I watch your videos almost daily to get my self educated. I am not rich, but my entire family love music. So I just got Focal Aria 936 for my living room. Now I am adding these headphones to my wish list. I am not sure when I will buy this. But I loved your detailed description. My kids like to make UA-cam videos, but keep them private. I am going to show them your videos to learn how to sell products by telling the facts and details.
That's awesome, #1 numbered headphones! I adore Focal and my Elear headphones, which I hook up to a balanced headphone system (2x NuForce HA-200 monoblock Class-A amps), and I'll eventually get my hands on both Utopia and Stellia! 🎧💗
You did not explain the issue of the tuning forks. The significance is that beryllium damps out the signal very quickly, as opposed to titanium or aluminum where the ringing is not well damped and continues to ring for much longer.
I love Upscale Audio. I bought my Utopias and Euforia there! Great headphone guy! I couldn’t be happier. Maybe when my bank account recovers in a few months I’ll be back for the Stellia.
I spend way to much time watching your videos on UA-cam :)...also, have plans to get those Stellias in a foreseeable future. Have asked some other reviewers about opinion on driving them via Sony TA-ZH1 ES headphone amp/dac. Many say they work best with tube amps yet I am adamant on using Sony. Also, what is the best deal on them right now?
I own some focal speakers and headphones but focal really needs to stop making their headphones so colored. The measurements of this looks super bassy. I had the elear and I would say it is the worst headphone I have ever owned. I have the Elex now and I like that one better than my hd800S and LCD-X. I feel like focal is making good headphone drivers then totally messing up the sound with poor pad tuning... makes me sad to take highend equipment and then tune it like beats.
Hi James, I too don't like headphones with too much bass. But re. the Stellia, the only published measurements at this time are on Head-Fi, and they show the uncorrected, raw curve, making them look bassy, but if (HRTF based, diffuse or Harman) correction, the curve would show less bass and less treble. We have to wait for corrected measurements or for impressions by critical audiophiles.
Thanks but it will work the other way I believe. Bass will not be affected much by compression and every thing above 1k will be sloped down. Based on the measurements on head-fi. These are going to be very thick and bassy. I am no expert though and could be wrong. Just have to wait for impressions from people not trying to sell them to you.

Where's the serial number located on the headphones
remove right ear pad
Hi what watch are you wearing it looks great.
The sound of these is faster than planars? What's the difference between a Beryllium and a Biocellulose driver?
Long answers. If you are in the states, reach out to my headphone team. They will help you.
Beryllium is also highly toxic hence the clean room :-0
Kevin. I’m looking at Focal Aria 906. What are your thoughts on the Bucharest s400? I’m having trouble deciding.
Is that Kenan in that poster?😁
Sam oooh weeee, what’s up with that? What’s up with that?
Will you be reviewing the Focal Arche when it comes out?

Lot's of people really love Focal, but you're probably making them a lot more money than say... HeadFi
