One of the best / most helpful reviews of the Stellia I’ve heard. Hope you can continue to review high end gear. Too bad there is not helpful comments, discussion, and questions...
Once again a very nice review thank you. I was in the market for a HD800S last year and the shop had the Focal Clear, Elear and Utopia too. I took the opportunity to test them as well and was shocked by how discernibly better the Utopia was. The Elear was already way ahead compared to some other brands but Utopia was so good that, after a “you only live once” thought, I bought it along the HD800S with its completely different sound signature (more suitable for studio mixing work I believe)
Very informative review as always. I really enjoyed it and I enjoyed the comparison to the HD 820, something I really expected from a good reviewer like yourself. I would love to see your review of the Elegia and whether or not the price difference between it and the Stellia is worth it. Well done 👍
Also important to mention the accessories, I feel. Focal has listened to the feedback, and unlike in Utopia, you do get a set of two cables, a colour matching carry case, and a booklet type carry case for the cables with a thank you note and a manual (similar to Clear accessories). The unpacking experience is stellar.
Wow great review up their with some of Tyll's reviews thanks. Not your fault of course but top of the range headphone prices are getting crazy, from your start I was hoping these would be a more reasonable price (500 to max 1000 dollars).
Hello everyone! Please help me. 2 months ago I bought Denon 7200 and astell&kern kann alpha. Mostly I listening deep house music. I expected from this combination something much better and because I didn't like the bass quality in music I will give that denon to my young brother as a present. So the question is, what are the best top headphones to listen mostly deep house music? I plan listen music on my astell&kern kann alpha. Guy from the shop highly advised Focal Stelia. Is this combination is really good or I need to buy something else? Thanks in advance for any support
I had the Stellia for over a week. No one moment I felt “ wowed “. When comparing with my others hps, it felt dark, the bass and sub bass, was a major disappointment for me. They are too forward, and almost not separated. It felt like the last layer of the highs was missing. When comparing with some others top of the line hps, the Stellia sound signature was a let down for me.
@@brianpacheco1927 Again, and??? IT's still the better one by far. This is high end audio and not for the faint of heart. Remember: THIS IS SPARTA!!!! ;-)

Nice review. What was the target curve or compensation of the frequency response graph you showed?
It's the diffuse field correction as provided by EARS.

Now the utopia comes with cables and such. Focal has really been listening, and improving
Hi, do I have the focal clear and worth upgrading to stellia?

And they sound like a $800 dollars hps. I didn’t like it.
*there
Nice review. Well done.
How can you optimize performance using the Focal Arche + stellia on a desktop? Please lmk

Have you bought something?
@ Yes, i bought Focal Stelia and really happy👍
@@mobilesecure can you give a comparison to denon d7200, I’m also considering upgrading
I'm off topic a bit here but could I get an opinion on the Fiio A1 portable amp? (in regards to it's ability to drive something like Tin Hifi P1s)
It's quite "meh". You'd be better off spending a little more for the A3
@@theosamma3a60 Thanks for the response 👍, with that I think I'm actually going to take an extra jump to the Q1 Mark II

Like what? At this price hard to find any that would compare. Even the Verites are pretty dark.
Eq would fix that. I did a couple tweaks with Equalizer APO & afterwards it definitely did amaze me.
I also wonder how do they compare against hd820, nvm, i watched the video, good review.
HD820 is no good
*boring at bass ,other freq. works well* 6/10 for being boring headphones
Here are two Hifimans that sound better: HE1000 and Susvara....not even close with the Susvara actually.
Susvara is also twice the price and much harder to drive.
@@brianpacheco1927 And? Still sounds a whole lot better. Along with the Abyss Phi TC, they are the 2 best I've ever heard.
Peter You got to take into account the price otherwise of course a headphone that costs 2-3x is gonna be a better technical performer.

That's not the point, those are all open back
