BUT, I highly recommend NOT using a heat lamp. I know of too many house fires using the heat lamps (even if properly attached) I use heated blankets or heated dog beds, and they use less electricity.

I remember one Christmas we got a head scratcher that makes you tingle and stuff, and I used it on my mini pig and he fell almost immediately

I use a brush on my pig & he just loves it. Sometimes he stands still & sometimes he lays down for me.
The fork trick was so cute!!!! Ahhh!!!! I bet they would like a back scratcher. My dog that passed loved a back scratcher. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Those are 5 great things but you forgot a few. One thing I found that mini pigs need is air. They love it. Two is gravity. Most piggies enjoy it but introduce it slowly. And three would be atmospheric pressure. This goes hand in hand with air but if you want happy pigs 14 psi is ideal.
As a 3rd time mini Juliana owner...semisoft bristle brush and butt scratches are key to building trust. They will let you brush them after a few attempts even if they wont let your hand go towards them without it. Itll win them over fast

Maya Raine Thank you! Please note I mentioned the wrong dosage in the video, but corrected it in the description. We’ve actually slowed down in giving it at all because they stay inside sooo much that it’s not as necessary.

Tractor Supply has pellets for litter too and for less. Good video
Tractor supply has a 50lb bag for $5. The shipping can be a little expensive ( its a set price) but where I am my closet Tractor supply is over an hour away its worth it when I order 6+ bags at a time.

Tito The Raccoon She was a pig that I had for my job. I worked in healthcare. 40+ hrs a week. All my staff and patients loved her. She provided entertainment, love, responsibility and was a "baby" to hold for some of my patients. However, one person, a frequent visitor, thought it was ridiculous to have a pig as a pet. This one person made threats to report her as being dangerous. Everyone was upset she had to leave. One patient was looking for her "baby". I had to find a new home. She now has a goat for a sister and two human siblings and a pet dog. She gets to run around on several acres. Her goat sister and herself are mascots for a local charity. So not totally sad. Either way, I miss her terribly. I no longer work in healthcare. I may get a pig again one day.
Kimberly Postin Oh I’d love to encounter a pig all of a sudden, during a healthcare visit or as a comfort animal in an airport. However in my country you never see them here and there, you have to have effort to see them.

Just love your videos. Will look for you on FB. I had a question about tranquilizers to do their feet. The vet will do it but I have heard that they are very susceptible to some. Could you steer me in the right direction, please!!! I just don't trust what the vet has in mind. Thank you!!!!!
I have the vet do theirs. They shouldn’t need a tranquilizer if done correctly. Depending on where you live, there are traveling vets/hoof trimmers that will do it at your house!

Hey there, so I just picked up to mini jules and they’re pretty skiddish. He boy is a lot more chill, the girl is out there. They’ll let me let them when they’re eating or when they come up to me, but the idea of picking them up or cradling them is non-exist at right now. Does this change overtime? Like will they warm up to me?
Definitely sitting on their level and letting them come up to you will help. Then you can kind of cradle them and lift them up. But generally pigs do NOT like to be picked up. It's pretty rare for them to enjoy it, as it's a predatory motion and not natural. Plus, the pigs will grow to at least 100 lbs, so it won't be something you'll be able to do for long anyway. :)

The litter box can get smelly if not changed but yes they can definitely go outside too!

I don’t think the specific company I got mine from is still around, but if you search Infinity harness on Amazon, there are a ton of options!
Hi! I have a mini pig and I was wondering if you ever ran into aggressive behavior ? Recently my pig has been snippy towards house guest and I was wondering if it’s something you’ve seen in your pigs ?
Unfortunately yes! In one but not the other. I think it’s a territorial thing as they get older. I have seen and heard about this quite a bit.

I don’t do it, but some people do. We have a farm vet from NC that comes down to do it. It shouldn’t be too hard to find one, but depends where you live!

It was Doramectin, but they don’t take it as much anymore. Our vet said they wouldn’t need to continue it since they stay inside most of the time. :)

I have done my research I am still torn between a Pygmy goat or a mini pig. My decision is based on mental stability with just having one. I do not want more than one of either
Goats are herd animals and really should have a buddy, I am not sure about pigs, but I think they do better with having only a human as a buddy then a goat would, goats also cant be potty trained so that might help your decision.

You do realize that there is no such thing as a mini pig. Your cute little porkers will sooner than later each be several hundred pounds. You may not want them in your house then.
They are fully grown now, around 100 lbs. The oldest turns 7 next week. They are mini pigs (compared to 600 lb farm pigs). There are just not pigs that stay piglet-sized.
