Great review HCC788. My 10 year old was ROFLHAO at the Wolverine give birth. He also, when it was over asked, in his deadpan serious voice, "Dad, why didn't Scarlett finish school?" I almost spit out my coffee. I asked him why he would say that. He replied, "She used a double negative, which means she did know about where babies come from." That's my boy! He is so frustrated we can't go to the store and buy new GI Joe toys. He says they look perfect. Thank you for sharing my youth with my son. He still understands what it means to be a kid and play.
Last I remember, flame throwers stopped being used because it's a giant bull's eye on the flame thrower. Once the flame thrower is taken down... flames go everywhere. On the battlefield, most soldiers saw the flame thrower and start running, so there were a lot of people picked off in the back.
So wholesome. I can imagine Cover Girl walking in and shouting Okay, whose the daddy and her head turns to a row of Joe vehicles that immediately take off.
Man, if you could afford to get all 3 of these when they were new with one week's allowance your parents were rich. My allowance was 1 dollar back then.
I had the flamethrower PACRAT as a kid. I remember it coming out of the box on sprue trees that had a lot of tiny bits and was really difficult to assemble with my tiny Trump-sized child hands.
the machine gun pac-rat could also hold the snakes accessories where the barrels are. found that out when i broke the snake and had no place to put those parts.
the rats are those things that I appreciate more these days, I used them to protect the hq along with the flak cannon. the 1 rst wave of defense, and really not like r-2 with beeping sounds and an attitude. I did nt have enough money to buy many, only 1 of each. 4 of each would have been ideal combined with the missile and laser battle stations. hasbro did nt push them much because of the low price - profit, but we can see that it is the future of warfare today. drones and robots will be a good part of any big country s army in the next conflicts. I have seen footage, and it is quite scary, they work in synchronized teams, no human can deal with such accuracy and efficiency, it s shocking. the bats are in the works, they can walk and shoot, and pretty soon, they will get as smart as a dog, it took a while, but it evolves faster and faster now. if it comes down to a big conflict, the weapons will be very different from what we have seen yet. ...and knowing is half the battle!
I would love to see an Adam Sandler movie about a group of "almost Joe's" that just barely didn't make it, and were given the responsibility of guarding old equipment like this and whatever the wind-up weapons were from both factions. enter the Dreadnoks to steal something of actual significance, and our heroes only have these run down, un maintained vehicle/weapons to stop them before they get the upper hand on the actual Joe's! I am off to Hollywood to pitch this idea in person. wish me luck!
My God I wanted them as a kid

Those pac rats look fun to play with and display along side the action figures. Great video review.

HCC, the remote that went with the missile launcher, looks really familiar. Did it also come with a figure?
It was later used with 1984 firefly .
