Lightweight is good and what did I use it for it’s a lawnmower ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxTPN04aT-Qdjr_KS3ql7ng8wnU3wwsCqk also recommend Yes it is lightweight so hence not as robust as our old one. But if you take care it does the job really well.

Thank you. So glad this was here! Have this exact model. Spool came off easy, no spinning bolt issue. The cord the hardware store sold me was too short, but fortunately the original cord broke only about an inch from the knot, so just fed it back through and rewound it. Another tip for threading… wrapped the end and a wire with scotch tape with some excess at the end to make a little cone. Fed through easily, just cut the tape off, pulled the wire out, and good to go with the rest.

OMG, your video made this the easiest repair I have ever done on anything!!!!!!! I too had to re-seat the front bolt, that was essy! Once that was done I pulled the rope out and was able to fix what I had without replacing the rope. I could only rewind the wheel 5 times, but that was enough! After all was said and done, we tried to start the mower and it started on the first pull!!!!! Thank you again Jeff's Little Engine Service for providing such concise information! By the way I am 68 years old and this was a cinch!

Thank you for making this video! I was cutting the grass yesterday and broke the pull rope on my mower borrowed the neighbors and also broke their pull rope too. Maybe I am just strong. This video helped me so much on changing both. I fixed the neighbors but ended up breaking a little plastic piece off mine when winding it up I accidentally let it go. I am going to have to order a new starter assembly for it but I am just glad I was able to fix the neighbors and now know what to do if it happens again. Great video!
