Jam Baxter and Ed Scissor are two of my favourite lyricists, Jam is amazing at painting dark, surreal imagery in his tracks and Ed has a slimmer catalogue with his most recent project being almost spoken word, but the EP "Tell Them It's Winter" by them is amazing, with tracks running into 8/9 minute runtimes of just the most poetic rhymes you've ever heard about drug addiction, difficult relationships and loosing touch with your reality. definitely check out more on the channel as they are certainly underappreciated, went to see Jam live a while back and was a sick show.
Nice to see an honest reaction rather than a nod along, respect.
Check out Dead Players, Jam Baxter, Dabbla, and Ghostown on da beat!
Do as this man says, Dead Players are non stop bangers
Thanks!! Love this shit!❤
Very welcome 🙏🙏🙏
Respect for checkin this bro. Wordsmiths.. order on the track Ches, Ed, Jam, Dike. Happy holidays!
absolutely man you're very welcome for that
Ghost Town makes incredible, unique beats. This was part of a whole album of Jam Baxter & Ed Scissortongue called Laminated Cakes produced by Ghost Town. He also produces all the beats for Dead Players, which is Jam Baxter & Dabbla's supergroup. You should definitely check some Dead Players.
Damn. I’m going to love checking out more by these guys
Have you ever been so cold that cold water feels like its burning? That's my interpretation anyway from my experience
I sure have. I do cold showers. Occasionally have hopped in snowmelt rivers. Stuff is legit but that makes sense
Still have to check cosmic gypsies my brother! Chester p, his brother farma G, braintax and jehst. Please Man U have to check it out 👊🏼
Cosmic gypsies on that list for sure family
I'll be back for that for sure, one of my all time favourites.
Feel free to take your time and pick it apart @@notrashtolerated
It's okay man, we understand you can't just admit the UK has it over the US. You do have to live there after all lol.
Hahaha nah man there’s definitely spitters over here but I’d love to see more collaboration
For me, Jam Baxter is the best lyricist in the world. Easily actually. Check out Jam Baxter - The Stump bro
Taskforce jellyfish kiss check it out
Will do family🙏🙏
This tune has the gods of uk rap on it (not including lee scott) (shouldve been on it)
indeed it does. Haven't heard of lee scott yet. Recommendation of what to check out by him?
@@notrashtolerated I have many bro 😂 he goes by a few names so
Mr Wrong - Childs Play 2
Hock Tu Down - Toof
Hock Tu Down - Prozium Peddlin
Lee Scott - Humble Annihilation Of Self
Hock Tu Down - Beer Run.
This is Jam and Dirty on their better form. IMO, Jam has the lyrical ability but a lot of his tracks are just a bit crude for my liking unless I'm in the mood. Same with Dirty, but they are generally taking the piss and having fun so they go rude and crude, often. But, it's all love from me for all these guys, and Dirty Dike is a great producer, too.
honestly man. They were both a lot better than I remember from the 2 reactions I did 2 years ago. BTW. I have two reactions for you my brother. Peace and love
@@notrashtolerated Oooh. I'm excited. Feed me, feed me now!!!
Not sure if I've given you this one yet if you really want to a rapper totally spazz out, check out Lie Low - Verb T & Pitch 32 feat. Ocean Wisdom. Ocean goes insane in this one.
BTW, over the years, High Focus have released some great hip-hop. They have given many their start. They seem to have fallen off a bit recently. A lot of the artists have left them due to financial reasons, apparently. I've heard that the owner Fliptrix (himself a rapper) has been taking too large a slice of the pie but don't quote me. I'm not very up-to-date on the scene these days.
