Hi, i have a brandnew orbit 9m 2022 . In the first session i noticed the trailing edge was extremely vibrating/flutttering in the kiteloops. Like if it looses power. Also the sound of a motorcross bike. According to other riders this will dissapear after a few sessions. What is your comment on this?
Thanks for the great review! Which size+windspeed combination is able to do kiteloops in the least amount of wind, so that the orbit can still catch you before you land? (I hope you understand my question haha, i.e. is it possible with a 9m in 20 kts already?)
Thank you for asking, my friend. 🤙🏽 The North Navigator Bar comes standard with 22m lines and rocks well for a wide range of conditions. Good winds to you. -Aaron
I own a 2021 10 + 8m orbits and if I was you I would go with a 9m because the 10m orbit can defiantly be kitelooped but isn't as beginner friendly as a 9m or 8m. The 9m going to catch you faster and just get around that much quicker making kitelooping not as intimidating helping you progress that much faster. There's a reason why you see normal people doing kiteloops on 9m +8m kite sizes. 10m kiteloops Can be done but better off when you have the smaller sizes dialed in.
Hi Rygo thanks for the review. I have ordered 8-10m 2022 orbits and cant decide about my big kite. I am thinking about 12-13 Orbit or Reach. Which one would you suggest?
Nice! It really depends. 12 I wouldn’t consider a big kite while 13 is the first size in most light wind kites. What kind of riding do you want to do on the 12 - 13?
@@MACkiteboarding I am only twintipping. Not really interested in foiling or strapless. Might want to unhook in the future but my first priority is jumping and doing basic rolls 😅
“For 2022 lighter weight bladders have been adopted into more of the larger sizes in the range…. The new bladder material is 17% lighter than in previous bladders.” - North So only the bigger sizes use the lighter bladder. It doesn’t impact the small sizes. I bought a less expensive 9m 2021 orbit as a result of this statement.

Sorry for missing your comment from earlier. 🤙🏽 Do you still have questions that we may help with? -Aaron
I'm guessing the bladder is 17% lighter
Hi, how long are you lines?

How does the kite hold up for heavy persons (100-110kg)does the kite deform over time
Hi, man . 10 m still good for kite loops for befinner kitelooper ?)

I think either would work. The orbit won’t have the low end of the reach but it will jump better.
Send it Shawn!!
