Hope you guys enjoyed this short jazzy intro video. Dedicated to tiffomcfarland birthday. She wanted to learn more jazzy types of things. Happy Birthday!
I saw first this tutorial couple of months ago and I have been using these intros a lot. Very useful for beginner. Also love your voice and very smooth and patient way of teaching!
!!! ALOHA from Montréal, Québec, Canada !!! Sadly I get to see your great ukulele videos and gladly for Jazz lessons a bit late, but none theless, I REALLY ENJOY them and shall become a better player with your teaching !!! Cheers, my good man !!!
Aloha! Merci for the glad comments! Oh no! How come sad that you’re a bit late? Don’t be sad! I will keep this video here for a long time so you can always watch it! And if there’s any questions you can ask too! Just keep on practicing consistently :)
@@squashdevicer Yes E is not so much of a common chord ukulele players use so it's ok! Yes practice practice. I used to play with guitar players and they play in E a lot, so I had to learn how to play in E :).
This is Jade! From Instagram! This is my new YT channel! I’m going to start my uke playalongs here (after I’m not sick anymore) and starting my vlogs here too! Oh I wanted to learn how to implement diminished chords in my playing!! Thank you! I just practiced this! I hope I can share with you my progress! Hehe.
Jade Uke Playalongs hey! Yea I saw your picture and subscribed to your channel! Can’t wait to see more stuff! Yay I’m glad this helped you with some diminished chord progression!!! Yes would love to see the progress :)
@@AlanPalmer-n3h mostly I'm using the diminished chord that we commonly used when I was playing with the other musicians on Maui. Not sure if the outer islands use a different progression. So it was already picked for me 🙂🤙
The brand is by Koolau guitar company and it’s their Pono line. It’s a beautiful ukulele. Their customer work is awesome too. If you have watched @hawaiimusicsupply this brand is theirs. And mine is a tenor size :). What brand do you have?
Subscribe if I like this video? I like ALL of your videos!! I really don't get why you don't have a gazillion more subscribers though! I've recently told my 3 lady jamming buddies about you!
Aw much much mahalo for those kind words! I hope to have a gazillion subscribers one day! 😃. And mahalo for sharing with your 3 lady jamming buddies! I hope you guys learn more from here too!
You can barre just the second fret. Or u can use all of your fingers on the second fret, one for each string. Pointer finger for the top string, middle finger next string down, ring finger next string down, and pinky next string down. All are in the second fret. Does this help?
You very quickly became my favorite UA-cam uke teacher. Mahalo for all you do.
@@jessesingersongwriter aw much Mahalo Jesse!!!! Those are some kind words that are great to hear!

Akello Stone hehe yea I didn’t know which other jazz song to do other than white Christmas! Haha. But now I realize I could’ve done L-O-V-E
Some of the best uke lessons are from your channel - much appreciated!
Much much mahalo for those kind words Joaquin! Much appreciated. How long you been playing?
Love the sound of “Dim chord” playing it with those different keys you showed us really “Jazzes things up”👍😊
This is my go to intro for anything jazzy related. I know I should probably learn some new ways but this one just fits!

Much mahalo!!!
Amazing clear instruction. Thanks
Leonard Lye mahalo! I am glad it was clear! Which key do you like best?
JJ Milare I cant do the E key because my fingers are not flexible enough and a bit short! Maybe a lot more practice is needed.

JJ Milare thanks! I hope to do some videos of your stuff soon!
Jade Uke Playalongs maybe collab sometime! :)
I can’t see how you pick which version of the diminished chord to play. Mostly they don’t have the root note in

What brand is the instrument, is it a “concert”?
