Coach Bob, you sir, 'are the man'. So guess what, I'm not missing any of your videos, Millie and I thank you for the shout out. I don't know much about making videos, I just know I enjoy them no end. It must take an enormous amount of time getting the finished product, and then there's WOW on Sunday; gotta be a special place for you both in SpyderWorld. Our meeting was short back on those special rally days, even wet you recall, but totally memorable and impressive. I look forward to our next meeting whenever that might be.
Coachbob another excellent video I would suggest first gear 2 piece rain gear, got caught in a rain storm from Ga to Orlando bringing my spyder down from Ny it kept me dry for the whole ride and the spyder performed flawlessly.
Great video CB! I would love to see this Q & A segment done quarterly. It really personalizes your channel and is very informative and just plain fun to watch. Keep doing your thing. God bless you and Coach Vic!
Thanks! Will do!
Coach, I know it takes so much to do this channel and thanks for it. I watch all the time. I couldn't do it mainly because I do all kinds of stuff and don't seem to do one thing all the time. Great videos
Bob I really like that T-shirt
Thanks!! 😎
We just enjoy your videos! I do a you tube channel and I just add things of interest! places I go! Places I eat! I don't want to get stressed about my channel! It's about the friendships you create! Because of your kindred Christ like spirit there are people that want to meet/and ride with you! That makes this hobby so fulfilling! And it's more than the spyder that you ride!! It's watching someone that is real about enjoying life! This week! After getting the pins pulled out of my foot from foot surgery! And next week I'm off to Arizona on the bike! It's videos like yours that helps us reflect why we ride! God bless to you and coach vic!
Really enjoyed the Q&A format, thank you for your content! Can you give tips and tricks on how to stay cool while riding in the summer months? What kind of gear, clothing, water bottle vs camelback, and how in the heck do I drink while wearing a full face helmet?
We haven’t quite figured out on how to stay cool during the hot months, other than dousing ourselves with water and drink as much as possible! I end up not wearing the heavy protective gear jackets. Light weight flannels/jackets for me, as I don’t like the sun beaming on my arms. We haven’t made any investments in cooling vest, etc! We did just purchase modular helmets, where the chin guard part lifts up. That definitely is helpful.😎
Coach Bob, you bring us up with you. Thanks for all you do, well done.
I appreciate that!
the very first "you asked for it, you got it" I LOVE IT!! Thanks coach bob
Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great video Bob, I'm a little late but better late than never to get 👍🏾. Keep up the great videos. Stay safe!
Coach Bob like a lot of other comments I look forward to finding a new video of yours. We just purchased a 2021 RT Limited, we have 300 miles on it and having a blast.
I appreciate the heck out of you Coach Bob. I watch all your videos without fail. Very cool of you to give a shout out to some of your fans. Keep on keeping on!
You are Very welcome!!! I really do appreciate you guys. If it wasn't for y'all. Id of quit a longgg time ago.. Thanks buddy!!!
I opted for mo GPS. I use Android Auto for phone screens. Works perfectly with my Cardo for a completely hands free experience.
Out of all the UA-cam channels I watch, yours are the ones I look forward to. Keep up the great work you are doing!
Thank You !!!!!!! These two words are overused and sometime possibly not truly sensere . Myself, like many others appreciate your time, effort and information. Not only about the CanAm the WoW episodes are uplifting. So, again, a Heart Felt THANK YOU.
Arkansas Andy aka: RedPill Andy
Great video, you should do one like this every 3 months or so. To the person asking about rear lighting and being seen, unless you're riding at night additional lighting is pretty much useless. If a driver behind you is paying attention, one light serves as well as a hundred (think about when you see a car brake in front of you with only one working light - you still stop as you are being attentive). If they aren't paying attention, no amount of lights will help. At night, additional lights help outline the bike as its profile is uncommon. You can also use reflectors for this purpose. One good idea is to get the modular connector which blinks your lights whenever you throttle down as cars often do not notice your speed reduction.
Thanks coach I love your videos! I love the honesty and the great ideas .Please keep on keepin on don't quit! I hope to to meet you soon. Again thanks!
Thanks for the kind words... Hopefully wee will meet on the road soon!!!
Hi Coach, I have the Show Chrome Trunk Mounted Run, Brake & Turn Signal LED Light Kit. It works very well. I did have to add more 3m tape to it to secure it better. This was the first item that I installed something myself where some of the tupperwear had to be removed, and wiring was pretty straight forward. My next install project is going to be Front Fender Reflectors with Sequential LED Turn Signals & Running Lights. Just waiting for warmer weather to start taking the panels off. Looks pretty straight forward though. Definitely enjoy the videos especially the Worship on Wheels!! Keep up the good work.
I got a cheapy wireless phone charger mount off Amazon a lot like Lamonsters... but just had to run hook up the wires and have wireless charging is much nicer, I've already added several LED lights, so already knew where I could get power from.
Bob, another great video. I truly appreciate all you do. Your videos have been instrumental in my purchasing a Spyder and the trailer to go with it.
Thank you for the kind words and confidence in the channel. We are happy for ya!!! I hope you get years of safe riding and enjoyment out of your Spyder!! That is awesome!
Lots of love to you and Coach Vic. Yeah I changed my name on here just for a bit more privacy. Don't know if it really matters or not but I knew you'd know who I am :-). Really love the channel and look forward to all of your videos each week.
Nice shirt!
Thanks!
I got him that shirt! 😂😂😎😎
Hats off to you and coach Vic on your toughness, we put just 500 miles on our new Spyder last weekend and it wore me out. Definitely going to buy the butt buffer and hope it helps.
That Butt Buffer is awesome. We love those things.
CB,
I reached out to you a week or so ago as an intro. Update: Yesterday, June 11, 24, I took delivery of a 2021 RT Limited. Not only do we share the ATC background, but we also have Spyder passion to boot.😅
I picked up my Sea to Sky last Friday. I have some mods to do yet and then I’ll send some pics. I have added two top cuffs from Lamonster. A rear view WiFi camera, the LED running boards from Can Am and the center LED light. A few more to go this weekend. On order is the adjustable handle bar riser but Can Am has had it on back order forever as it was ordered in March.
As always good stuff. Thx for helping to educate this old man.
You are on the ball. I can't wait to see it when you're done. Awesome!!!
Hi Coach Bob and Coach Vic! I'm not sure who I found first, you guys or John and Miriam but I have truly enjoyed all of your videos. You have been very informative on all things Spyder related and I for one am truly grateful. My husband and I recently purchased a 2021 RT Limited thanks in part to you and CV. I traded in my 2 wheels so my husband and I were able to ride together and explore this beautiful world we live in. We live in Alabama and work @ Barber Motorsports Park as corner workers on the weekend and I was thrilled to see you guys made a trip there!! Hope to meet up some day, and until then, keep up the good work, it is truly a pleasure watching your channel.
Congratulations on the new machine....that is most excellent!!! Coach Vic and I also love John and Miriam..they are a classy couple. Hopefully the next time we head to Leeds we will get to see y'all.
Amazed and surprised to hear my name mentioned. Great video keep up the good work. I look forward each week to your videos (except the Two wheel ones). I know you are a detail guy and planning your upcoming south to north trip. How are you using the Zumo XT in the planning? How is it working out for you? Interested to hear more about the Zumo. Shout out to Coach Vic and the family.
The Zumo is working well... I will do another vid on it soon.. I'm learning...It has proven very user friendly.
My first set of rain gear was FrogTogs. I was not impressed with their quality or function. So my wife bought me HD rain suit set. High rise overall pants with jacket, and even boots that fit over existing footwear. All high visibility. Never have got wet in even the worst rain. Now that I don’t have the Harley, I still carry the gear in my Can Am. It’s about function over form.
I’ll be interested in what your research reveals and what you purchase.
You are the Man!! Enjoy your channel will continue to support. God Bless You Guys. Thanks so much
Coach Barnabus, thanks for all your hard work in producing quality, informative, and encouraging content on Can Ams and life in general. I always enjoy your videos.
Coach Bob awesome video. Thank you for taking time out and knowledge in your prescribers that means a lot to us. That shows that you care. I agree with you I will stay with the spider tires also. If you take that ride to the farmer's market let me in the wifey know would love to join you guys.🥇🥇👍🏍🏍🏍
We will let ya know.. Hope to meet up soon.
Hey Coach Bob! A mighty Eh! from 🇨🇦 Canada 🇨🇦 !! I have been quietly following your videos since I bought my first Spyder last October (a 2020 RT Limited). Looking forward to my first full riding season (I know, you don't have to worry about a "season" ... lol). I just wanted to introduce myself to you and Coach Vic, as I have lots of questions, and you will hear from my quite often!! Totally understand your limited abilities to respond, so rest assured, no worries!! I will soak in all that you and Coach Vic post, and I'm sure most of my questions will be answered either by past posts or future posts!! Love your channel, and please pass on my best to Coach Vic, who I hold in great esteem ... she is a true warrior and an inspiration to all (that is the Autism Dad in me coming out!!). Take care eh!! 🇨🇦
I'm glad to help in any way that I can... email is
bob3coach@gmail.com
I'm slow.. but ..I eventually get there.
Thanks CB!! Just a quickie ... you mentioned your hydration system in this video, but I didn't see it mentioned in your gear list. Did I miss it?
Keep up the good work and positivity Bob. Just try not to burn yourself out by pushing out too many videos. Less is more, especially when the quality is there.
I don’t comment on all your videos, but do hit the like button every time and look for your next video as they come out.
Ride safe and enjoy life.
Great as always my friend.
Loved the Q & A and all of your imput and How you relate to your Fans. I was wondering if you know anyone who has ever tried or has put a Spider into a Toy Hauler. I would like to do this as I my wife and I travel thru diffrent areas. we would use it as our travel around the area. I use my BMW now for that, Just dont know how long I can ride If I cant get these knees to bend Like I want them to. Thanks for you help in this area. Have a Blessed Weekend and you and your family have a BLessed weekend. TIm
Some friends and subscribers Bob and Barb have started a UA-cam channel. It’s called Hetteshworld .. I believe they have a toy hauler. Check it out.
ua-cam.com/users/HetteshWorld
This Cuff is okay for 2018 Spyders and but it doesn't work for 20-21 Spyders. I got this one and it didn't work and check and the Half cuff is for 20-21 Spyders. Got two and they work great for my 21 Spyder.
I was shocked to hear my name mentioned in your video! Funny side bar, I ordered the wrong part (got the top cuff not the ring "thing" but it served my needs just fine). I would watch your videos just to hear your positive attitude on life. I don't care what you talk about, it is like having a friend encourage me. You remind me of friends from a discipleship group long ago and I sure miss that fellowship. I for one appreciate the work that you do on the channel. Thank you for sharing with us!
Thank you for the question and answer video! I only have one concern about electrical add on mods such as rear add on tail lights! Watching other videos! They say that that Spyder has a very specific electrical system that does not do well with after market components! Tends to give electrical issues! Is there specific vendors that are more compatible with the spyder electrical system than others?
I suggest you check out Spyder Pops for a variety of LED packages. He installed rear, strobing break lights, and mirror wrapped turn indicator LED's for me. All are true "plug and play". I am very happy and have had zero issues.
Tires should last much longer however most users overinflate the tires which seems to be an issue. Front should be 15psi and rear no more than 24. Most common is the center wear on rear tires. Car tires are also an upgrade. I started out with Kenda tires and they are inferior to all other brands. As always very informative video
Coach Bob, on my 2018 F-3 Limited, sometimes when I stop to get gas, get back on the Spyder and the dash will light up stating I have wrong key! I pull the key out and put it back a couple of time and then it will crank and run! Have you ever heard of this problem, I only have 6500 miles on it!
I'll do a little homework and see what I can find.
🤓😎🏍💨💨💨💨💨👍🏻🇨🇦 just keep up the good work. 🤓
The pride in your work, efforts, and content certainly shines Coach. As commented on by so many of your subscribers, it's not just the informative and quality content you put out that attracts subs, but it's also your highly positive energy, and the 'fun' that you share that are your valuable assets.
Your video today gave me an idea for a suggestion. You talked about the challenges, frustrations, things that don't go as planned, and even being disappointed with some of your videos, so much so that you've taken some down before releasing the videos. So perhaps, if I may suggest, there could be some valuable lessons learned in some of those fails and frustrating issues that just might also be a wee bit (or very) entertaining. Kind of a bloopers and fails compilation, snipits of what UA-camrs really face, the hurdles and unexpected frustrating moments, a real day in the life of producing content.
The reason I suggest this, I do enjoy watching the fails and bloopers of news casters, and the bloopers of shows like Everyone Loves Raymond, Friends, Home Improvement, etc. Anyhoooo, it's just a thought, the "whoops" moments can also be useful for viewers, reminds us all to expect the unexpected, and that life is certainly never perfect, and sorry man but bloopers can also be a little entertaining.
To be honest, you really don't need suggestions, your UA-cam recipe is working just fine, and congrats, by the time you read this, you will have likely hit the 4k subs, many thanks for all you share. 👍👍👍👍
After reading this...I think I will try to do a blooper reel. It could be a lot of fun... Great Suggestion!!!
Let's all send our prayers and wishes to Lamont, of lamonster.com. He is recovering from a transplant and needs our support.
Last name is Cat-lin, short a. Thank you for your comments. I am learning my new bike very slowly. The 2021 rt sea to sky is very different in many respects to the 2018 rt Ltd I had.
I saw a Facebook post on Lamont. Thanks for the reminder. I will mention it... in the Sunday morning video. 👍👍👍
Bob, have any links for 2021 Spyder RT Limited phone/gps mount?
Also driver/passenger drink holder.
Thanks
I think Lamonster makes the best and solid stuff. You're not screwing into a switch or on the handle bar. I like that. It keeps me from tearing stuff up.

Thanks for watching.
As for GPS ..I am using the same Spyder Cuff with a Ram Ball Mount on it.
Thank you
Just curious- I can see you ride in the rain a bit and am wondering if there is a windshield wiper made for the Spyder or for helmets or would it do any good?
There are some plastic safe products that you can put on your windscreen and your face shield that help. Here is a link of the video I made with some tips for riding in the rain.

@@CoachBob3 - thanks. Don’t have a Spyder yet but will soon. I had one back in 2012, drove it a year and loved it but never liked riding in the rain. I sold it because my new wife wouldn’t ride with me. Now, she died just like my first wife did and now I’m on my own and ready to ride again. Love watching your channel.
