Luna and Bomber always touch my heart. They're such loving parents! I mean, they raised SIX chicks that weren't even theirs! They help save the Tawney Owl population with their sweet caring souls. Solar is FEISTY! LOL
The first video I ever watched from this channel was the one with Luna taking care of 6 adopted owlets. Now it's a core part of my monthly video consumption. I've got to know, love and grieve so many lovely birds. All the tears shed, both happy and sad, all thanks to Luna. I, for one, bow for the Great Mother of the Yorkshire Wolds, Luna. Aspect of Compassion. Protector of the Lost.
The 6 orphaned owlets was the first video I saw as well. I will follow your lead, and also bow before the first lady of the Yorkshire Woods. ❤ from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Yes! That was mine, too. They were such great parents to those chicks; totally accepting, even when they stepped out for a minute & came back to find new babies every other day😂
I believe you, he was tricking Luna😊 He truly is a lovely father ❤ and a great partner to Luna! I wonder what has gone wrong before when non of the eggs hatched ? Was all eggs “empty inside” ? Something to do with what Bomber and Luna were eating before maybe it’s “better clean food” for them at winter season ??? Sorry for expressing me so poorly.. but I’m totally hooked on this channel and the owls and kestrel’s my favorites ! ❤ The birds matters , not my spelling.
@@mariawestman9026yes, the eggs that have failed previous years have been empty inside. Robert took out the failed eggs when he put in the rescued owl chicks, and when he put the failed eggs in front of a flashlight you could see that the light was shining through, meaning there was just egg yolk and egg white inside but no chick. If there’s a developing embryo inside an egg, you can see reddish shadows of blood vessels connected to the inside of the shell. Depending on the age of the embryo/fetus, you see more and more blood vessels, and you can even start to see the shadow of a little flickering dot (the beating heart). As the chick grows it takes up more and more space, so less and less light shines through if you put it in front of a flashlight. Since Luna’s and Bomber’s previous eggs were completely empty, we thought the issue might be with the fertilisation, and might be because of Bombers age (he’s more than ten years old), so we were all very surprised and happy for Luna and Bomber last year when they managed to hatch two of their own eggs 😊
@@xyz7572 GREATEST EXPLANATION EVER!! Thank you 🙏 very much! So happy to understand some sort of recovery seems to be going on in nature !!❤️!! The birds are so beautiful and precious! This channel is amazing and we are so grateful for Mr Fullers dedication to building up” perfect nest for all these birds and to live stream it for people all around the world 🌍 Namaste 🙏
Thank you so very much for letting us take part in these animals' lives. For eighteen years in my parents' home we've always had a couple of owls in a nest up high in the tallest tree in the garden, and my mother always explained to me how these owls lived, brooded and cared for their offspring, and let me hear their calls - carefully and with a warmth that you seem to share. I feel at home watching your videos - again, thank you for that kindness, from Germany.
So many incredible moments in this video, what a treat. Bomber stopping to listen to his chick's call for the first time 2:07 ! Thank you again Robert for your work catching these amazing scenes, what a privilege it is to see them.
At one minute and twelve seconds she looks straight at the camera as if to say, ' Yes, I've really done it this time. Thank you for your encouragement, Robert!'
Luna loves being a mum, she'd our fluffy mama owl. She's super protective, bomber has to wait to get a look in with the children. Bless the Hootin' papa he does such a good job finding food.
It's quite heartwarming to see Luna be quite a champion foster mother. We've seen her brood and raise quite a number of chicks over time, some hers and some not. Even in spite of the tragedies and difficulties endured along the way, Luna and her chicks have shown to be quite successful. And of course, major props to Bomber for his dedicated support.
Luna n Bomber are caring n attentive. Loving parents are all the same, whether 2 legged, furry, or feathery. Love is love no matter who is writing the story. Hi Robert n thanks for sharing. Take care one n all.
This is so beautiful, and their devotion to their chicks is incredible to watch. Thank you for an emotional and heart-warming experience. I LOVE your channel. XOXO
😍🫂 The world seems such a dark & scary place at times with what humans do to each other, and then I open up to find this adorable & loving owl family and my heart melts, my eyes smile (along with a tear or two 🥲) for the sheer joy & sweetness of Luna & Bomber 🦉caring for their chicks & once again taking on a foster chick to raise. And the humans, Robert & Jean, reminding us there are wonderful caring humans too🫂, and we should elevate them to front of mind & not get dragged down by the awful humans 😡
I discovered the channel a year ago as Luna was laying her first egg. I well remember the thrill of watching Rocket hatch. This film let me relive those happy moments as I wait and hope that Luna and Bomber have a similar outcome this year. Thank you, Robert!
3:48 That was such a smooth handoff while still keeping the eggs warm. That’s a wonderful momma, Luna. So happy she’s had her own babies with Bomber. He truly is a fantastic partner with great instincts. ❤
I'm so happy Luna and Bomber finally have their own chicks, but it's awesome they're fostering yet another baby as they did in previous seasons! Lots of owl love to go around to little Solar, too!
Mr Robert Fuller, your series brings magic to any day or night I watch it. You absolutely deserve to be on a major tv channel, such high quality and amazing content/production. I even feel relief from anxiety when I watch your shows 😍🥰
Luna and bomber are amazing parents, i love how boomer tricked luna so he could take a sneaky peak and preen them. They are so amazing that they take in orphan chicks. Beautiful ❤ They are beautiful chicks, i hope they live on to have a happy owl life ❤❤❤
You are a wonderful man to care for and rescue these beautiful birds! And to allow us to watch as they establish a home, family and relationship! It's an honor to watch, and we respect you so much....thank you!!!
Please keep making these videos, Mr Fuller! I love learning what different birds are, their predators, their food preferences, etc! I LOVED it when Solar wasn't thought to be an EXTRA, but just fed like the others!
Thank you for your dedication to educating us as to the painstaking dedication these birds exercise to take care of each other. It’s mesmerizing to watch and see the emotions in their eyes and the evolution of the chicks 🐣

@RobertEFuller i love owls but you calling the babies chicks IS NOT THE CORRECT term for baby owls! they are called OWLETS!
Just found your channel Owls fascinate me I hear them nearby often but so elusive so this is wonderful
oh wow, Bomber's first visit with the chicks is probably the sweetest thing I have ever seen, what a great papa! 🥰
Bomber is an amazing dad 🥰❤

Luna, mother of the year! Thank you.
And Bomber father of year too!!!

Robert seriously deserves his own show on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, BBC Earth, SOMETHING.
Robert, you got the PERFECT voice for a documentary narrator!
Luna and Bomber are great parents. Hoping some of the new clutch of four are fertile this year.🤞
They do seem to have fertility problems, don’t they?
Robert stated it might due to Bomber being an older male, but they hatched two last year.
Whenever Luna smiles at her brood, my heart smiles. She’s a proud loving mother
