      Thanks mate, haha yeah the application for these rinse off products while easy when doing a full car is actually a lot harder when trying to do small sections with drop sheets.
      Luckily I only had to do it twice and the second time I filmed it I had usable footage.
      Also thanks for the beers 🍻

    Exactly the comparison I was after right down to each product. I worry this is gonna be a long one. Appreciate you getting back on the horse after the previous issue

      That's great news and I hope you find it helpful, I don't see this lasting super long like some of my sealant tests nut maybe up to the 2 month mark.
      didn't want to scrap it after buying some of the products but I was putting it off until I had the energy for round 2 haha

      @Evolved Details do you know when green dreams come out separately. As of now it only comes out in a wash bucket combo.

    • @EvolvedDetails
      @EvolvedDetails  Рік тому +1

      It won't be coming out as green dreams so much but a future batch of wet dreams will basically use this formusls

    My notes with my personal experience testing Wetcoat, Bodycoat, and Hydro2 (6:1) in particular application:
    Wet coat was the only one that did well being sprayed on and worked in with a wet cloth before being rinsed. for whatever reason, Bodycoat and Hydro2 didn’t liked being sprayed into the stream of the gun/hose or sprayed and worked into the panel.
    I had best results when I sprayed on and rinsed off each of them.
    Wetcoat was slickest to me, but Bodycoat had the most hydrophobicity in my testing over 4 customer cars.

    I would argue the carpet and gyeon were slicker and sheeting the beads off. If you watch it again it looks like the beads group quickly and run off so their just doesn’t look like as many beads. Which I would say is a much better hydrophobic attribute than the other three.

    • @EvolvedDetails
      @EvolvedDetails  9 місяців тому

      If you watch the second video on the series I do a slickness test on them and mirch was the slickest from memory

    And we appreciate your work. Unlike you, I don't have a spare car hood to experiment on. I don't think the mess you made of your floor, with tape fragments & plastic sheeting, is comparatively terrible. I mean, consider how much mess you'd have made if you put a kiddie-pool filled with mud, mayonnaise, and strawberry jam in your garage, and then wrestled a giant sumo & a dwarf judo practitioner simultaneously. I think THAT would have made much more of a mess. So, everything is relative. My impression here is that the Mirch is clearly the most afraid of water, or as you feriners say "hydrophobic." You can just FEEL the emotion displayed by that Mirch paint sealant.

      @EvolvedDetails  7 місяців тому

      Haha thanks mate, yeah it wasn't too bad of a clean up.
      And yes the Mirch was a great one and I've used it a bunch since filming this videoc

      @@EvolvedDetails Are you burying the lead? Are you trying to tell me you DON'T mud/mayonnaise/jam wrestle Sumos & midgets in your garage? How unciviized of you. Here in the U.S. it's just about the only thing high class folks do in our garages. After wrestling, the winner of the match licks the mud/mayo/jam goo off their defeated opponent. Too bad Mirch is an Ozzie company. I've never seen their products advertised here in the U.S. Not that where I live is a detailing product desert. On the contrary, Meguiar's, Mother's, and Masterson's all have their headquarters within 15 minutes of my home and Chemical Guys is in the next county over. There are other car cleaning companies near where I live too, I just don't recall which ones. Meguiar's is over there in Irvine, Mother's is in Huntington Beach, Masterson's is in Anaheim (same city as Disneyland), and Chemical Guys I think is over in Gardena not far from the LAX airport. So unless I can get Mirch shipped cheap, I might have to forgo it. I tried to order some Mirch to check shipping rates, but the online order entry form wouldn't populate with a shipping cost estimate. Bummer. I guess I'll have to use DIY Detail Quick Beads, or something similar. Cheers & thanks for the reply.

      I'm sure you could not do much as a drying aid but as a kayer of protection for bead machine

    Why did you spray Gyeon Wetcoat using the jet nozzle and not spray?

    • @EvolvedDetails
      @EvolvedDetails  7 місяців тому

      It was on spray, was a faulty sprayer unfortunately and that's all it would do.
      No idea why they even give the option for jet though tbh

    • @EvolvedDetails
      @EvolvedDetails  Рік тому +3

      Lol the bottle is about a month old, how do you know it's the best have you tested it against other products to compare?
      Such an odd thing to say in a comment to a video

    • @EvolvedDetails
      @EvolvedDetails  Рік тому +1

      also to further question your comment, what exactly is Gyeon known to be the best of? Durability? Looks? Water Behaviour? Slickness?
      all I've done so far is apply them and give my thoughts on their initial water behaviour before they've even cured.
      also how can it be manipulated if I literally showed the application of each product.
      I look forward to hearing back
