Hello !. Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. And terrorists (puppets of the Antichrist) who misinterpret verses, out of ignorance and political motivations, and take them out of historical context (just like radical atheists do by the way), don't help either. Thank you very much for your time.
Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them).
Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI)
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI)
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel! Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).
Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning!
Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures.
Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement.
It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them.
(19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad)

"It makes you feel safer because there's never Taliban too far away" is one of the wildest sentences I've ever heard.
They're just mad lads.
The Taliban aren't the evil boogeyman the US would have you believe. They're literally just a different form of government, that isn't controlled by western influence.
Better than an American killer drone 30,000 feet above your eyesight ready to obliterate your entire village at any given moment, I guess?
@mosaabtwice3999As an American I'm beginning to agree. At least our women's soccer time got what they deserved.
I wouldn't go as far as saying something outwardly positive about the Taliban, but at the same time there has scarcely been a more evil and chaotic force than ISIS in the last decade. Most insurgent/extremist militias might kidnap and ransom westerners, or otherwise exploit them for some tangible gain. ISIS would murder them just to send a message

@@donnel5516 If they're going to play world police, they have to invest outside of their country.
Forget the money, have resentment for those who sent precious American souls to die for government lies and corruption.
I fear all that was done was we bought the middle east more time before the land grab that is going to come from their powerful neighbors in the coming decades.
I don't believe America was ever at war with Afghanistan from what I've gathered. It was always just there to maintain a parameter between the middle east and some of their very powerful neighbors who have questionable intentions. Thus the reason for the small amount of troops and acting more as police and border security to the region. The heads of the middle east region are the kingdoms Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, and Egypt. Thus the reason for Iraq policing and Afghanistan policing. But they are very strong people. In the future, they will need all of the support from the west they can get. No doubt about it.
Let's all hope and pray all these countries can remain civil, and respect each others sovereignty. If not, it will be a disaster like world war II. Make the policing effort look like children playing compared to how bad a world war is. The truth never gets me many friends, but here you go. Do with it what you must.

I worked with an Afghan immigrant in the UK and he was very friendly, very funny and worked harder than anyone I've ever known.

Callum’s anxiety levels must have been sky high by the look of that constant frown on his forehead. Respect, I would never dare risk a visit to Afghanistan for any reason. Even a recent trip to Birmingham had me on edge. A fantastic piece of journalism worthy of an award.

@@ElBach1y I'm sure you've fought in many tours
I was in Afghanistan on tour in 2007. The people are very kind, and sadly depending on where you go, some had no idea why we and others were there, while others hated us (I don’t blame them, we were on there land) this video was well done, and it’s the closest I’ll ever get to being back there.
I saw a video on UA-cam a while ago where U.S soldiers interviewed Afghan villagers. They were shown pictures of the burning towers and asked if they knew what it was. None of them knew and some guessed it might've been Kabul. When the villagers were asked if they knew what country the U.S. soldiers were from, they replied Soviet.
I was there in 2012. Even in the birth place of the taliban you find very kind and welcoming locals. They want their children to be educated. Something the taliban fears.
It wasn't a "tour", it was an invasion.
@@SteveN-ws4vu What do you mean "even". And of course the Taliban want the children of Afghanistan to be educated. Seriously I don't understand where you get such perspectives, except through western propoganda.
@@keyboardmouse7699 i saw that video too mane, its insane how information has this 'fog of war' to a extreme with those who are too old or too far away from technology. I am surprised, since he is obviously there for propaganda reasons...but they probably rightfully considered him too stupid to be a real threat, and the comments section of this video proves that out.
I love that there’s still restaurants and other establishments with people that just want to make delicious food for others. Such an honest living. And the game store owner excited over explaining his experiences there.
The Taliban are not good people but they are not mindless terrorists like ISIS either. In their minds they were defending their country against foreign NATO invaders, which no one can argue is the truth. With the back in power it's not surprising that they are maintaining what was leftover by the western invaders (including me 2 deployments Us Marines). Ironically the security is tighter than what NATO provided. We couldn't even secure Kabul, since the pull out attacks on the city are down 70%. ISIS-K are the true terrorists we should have been fighting. Sad thing is the CIA created them to keep the Taliban disorganized during what was planned to be a hard rebuild for them. We sanctioned them so badly that they cannot even get food in to feed children (after we burned the poppy fields adjacent to farmland).

AGREED.20 plus years of WASTE,plus wounded military vets returning to civilian life are treated like an annoyance by the va system.I'm speaking from experience.
That can’t happen because Americans are banned if a American goes there they would behaed you then eat your dead crops than chant death to the American people kill them all even the baby’s and children
That’s the way of Islam
True that. That would probably be soul crushing, knowing that the legacy of your friend or your military career was just a waste
It wasn't a waste for everyone, more a case of winners and loosers.
George Bush's approval rating and defence contractors' profits all went through the roof. Hence, they were the winners.
Afghan civilians and coalition soldiers paid the ultimate price, the loosers. Life goes on.
Probably the most insightful thing I have seen in months and very interesting perspective that most of us never would hear about! Thank you and glad you were able to put this together for the world to see.

I'm an American about your age. I went to Baghdad in 2019 for tourism(spring break) with my father whos from Baghdad. I wanted to make a video with the same format as yours but didn't have the balls. Everything you experienced and described gave me vivid flashbacks from my experience. One major difference is I think Iraq is more liberal than Afghanistan which is an incredible thing to comprehend.
Not that hard to comprehend since Iraq is significantly more developed and urbanized than Afghanistan is and Baathist Iraq was secular while Afghanistan's government was dominated by Mujahideen warlords then the Taliban prior to invasion.
@Nuaym Umair don't know what else to call them after they did their civil war after the Soviets left and were so unpopular that the Taliban rose up twice to defeat them
