Most underrated player in the NFL 💯
Shit he might be the most underrated athlete he is a humble human and it's awesome hearing him talk
I member when people tried cutting him out as a dirty player last year. This probably the most down to earth, humble guy on the team.
He'd be blasting dudes than offering a hand to help them up. Really hope they keep this guy around. Student and teacher of the game.
💯.
I have to admit I initially wasn’t sold on him, but he produces on a line that hasn’t had enough other pass rushers. I hope pairing him with Rankins, a healthy Sam Hubbard and a year two of Miles Murphy will really increase the pressure.
@@alexxander7470 I think your thinking of Logan Wilson
I'm glad he's back. Bengals fans appreciate you Trey. Who Dey!
I feel like I owe Trey an apology. He’s been my favorite player on the bengals and I was so mad at him for requesting a trade. An amazing interview from an amazing man.
Me too
He didn't request a trade.. His agent did, he just agreed to it
Love you Trey!! Glad you’re in the building for sure! 🐅 Appreciate his humbleness
Trey has quietly been one of the most consistent pass rushers in the nfl over the past 3 years. I hope we can find a long term deal, he needs to retire a bengal.
He was just extended last year. He can’t even be extended now. He’s signed for 2 more years. He is a class act all the way.
@garycochrane4829 he is eligible for an extension before next season starts.
You have to wait one calendar year
God Bless you Trey! You will help keep the team strong against the spiritual attacks you all can expect going into a winning season! Who Dey!?!
Such a class act ❤
A man of great honor.
Gotta love him. Make no mistake.. to swallow your pride like this and talk like this, takes a lot. Absolute team guy
A Trey interview… cool! Hope things can be figured out. Definitely need him on our team
Wow, what a team player Trey is! Admired this guy for awhile and now even more.
In turn, his decision reflects extremely well on the culture and support in the Cinci locker room! Thanks Trey. My very best to you and your wife and rock-out this season!
Thank you Trey! I was heated but conversation beats anything. Glad to hear where your head is! Let’s go win
We've all been waiting a long time for this interview, thank you for bringing it to us.
Love his approach.
I hope the discussions will get him some guaranteed cash. He deserves it.
Let's go Trey !!!!
Once he retires, he will be an incredible Head Coach. My favorite Bengals player.
My favorite player! He brings the fire!
I really hope they give him the extension he wants. You can tell he really likes being here.
Trey my guy 🔥🔥
I was super disappointed when I heard the news that he'd requested a trade, because he seems like a really stand-up guy, and a guy that you can take pride in having on your team. Him requesting a trade given the circumstances didn't really live up to that. But, it's nice to have it reiterated that he is in fact that guy, and deserving of that type of respect. One of the best Bengals ever, and we're lucky to have him.
Mr. Underrated!
Hes One of my favorite players of all time.
He will win his first Super Bowl this year as a Bengal
Thx Trey for showing up . Let’s punch this ticket and revisit that contract
Trey is such an integral part of what the Bengals do. Hope he stays!
I love this guy !!!
Big Trey glad your back
It was good to see this... i want him to get what he deserves when the time comes. Win the big one and god bless him.
He did not understand that he can not be extended until next season, since he just got an extension last year
Great news for sure !
You my boy Trey hands down my favorite Bengal. It's a disgrace to not see Trey go all pro last year total slap in the face. But who dey we are Bengals fans we live on the hate and disrespect, its fuel to the fire
Seems like such a class act. He knows it's nothing personal and he knows to not let it affect how he plays the game. I pray this is the season he gets his ring
Awesome, top notch character. Top not person.
Best free agent signing ever. In an Era when the Bengals nailed it. Hendrickson & other Free Agents have elevated what I thought was possible from Free Agency!
Why I like this guy. Godly man that's why. Well spoken Godly Man. God bless you hendrickson. May God Bless you with healthy season
Trey is a true sport and a corner stone for the franchise. I think things will work out and the Bengals will get that elusive championship in the near future.
Let’s just hope we can sign him to a long term extension
This guy is an amazing Christian! I love he keeps referring to his wife. More respect than ever for him ❤
Christ gots your back and will bless you trey
I need to get my trey jersey, my favorite player on our defense
He's saying all the right things
He seems very genuine
Read between the lines... Wife doesn't want to leave the area. Trey trying to get years, not money. Which is why the "I'll retire" was mentioned back when this first came up. She is staying, and he doesn't want to go anywhere without her; so, he wants to retire a Bengal.
Make a deal, Cincy!
that's why your my favorite Bengal
He is the ultimate pro that deserves to be paid
I'm a Take Care of Trey fan. We could use four more as effective with their talent as he is! When do the Bengals ever pick up another team's best defensive player? I'm team Don't Lose Trey.
Gotta keep Trey. I'm glad he came to his senses and didn't string this along where it affected training camp. We need everyone laser focused going into the season so they don't have another one of those slow starts that causes a knock-on effect where they are playing catch up to the rest of the division.
Often times the most important player on the team for several years.
LFG!! WHO DEY!🐅
Let's Go!!!
Yes Trey we believe in you 🙏
I love him
Pay 💰 him please
Also, Bengal fans need to be proud of the culture ZT and crew have brought to Cincy. There are no bad apples, even when they're frustrated. The team over all. Now let's go win a chip baby.
Trey looks healthy ---- really healthy.
We will win the Superbowl 💯🙌🏼💪🏼
Give him what he wants
God I love Trey
Let's be honest - he's statistically a top 5 pass rusher since 2020. A top 5 Pass rusher makes 25 million a year. The problem is, Hendrickson wasn't on the trajectory of other marque DEs. He was a sleeper. His first 4 years in league he made less than 4 million in total. Then Bengals paid him after a solid year with Saints an 13.5 sacks 60 million over 4 years. Then after only an 8.5 sack year he wanted an extension and Bengals added a 21 million year an added a few million to the existing year. If he had not signed that an then had his 17.5 sacks last season, he'd have leverage to make big money this year. I believe the Bengals will do the right thing and add another year to his contract again.
#91 who Dey
Clearly his agent ran his mouth and he is trying to clean up at aisle 91
Very underrated player all because he plays for cincinnati its bullshit but fuck the haters WHO DEY NATION
Very humble man. He uses his intelligence in the right way and he’s unselfish. I love how he always gives glory to Jesus Christ.
Pay the man
Dude signed the contract, and his agent is an idiot who didn't even know NFL contract rules. That's why he showed up.
He followed his wife's advice to disregard what the agent said.
who dey!!!!!
Bro play out your contract you agreed on. Not like the team can get less money if you don't perform. You agreed to play come on man
Mike Browns gotta put a few million into that lockerroom
WHO DEY!
I’m still confused on what he’s complaining about… he JUST signed an extension 10 months ago to make 21 million a year, and he’s unable to sign a new contract until AT LEAST A YEAR passes…
What are the bengals supposed to do?
We have to let him retire a bengal. get this man an extension if we can’t I understand stand but if so we have to.
Damn salary cap
Walking everything back now huh? lol
Who Dey
I love Trey as a player but this is classic hiding behind “faith” and “prayer” when it’s truly about getting paid Joel Olstein style 😂 come on dude it’s ok, but don’t call it anything else than what it is
Couldn’t have said it any better. On point.
PAY TREY..
Tbh...sounds like a ton of bs to me. I love him as a player but he's just another guy hunting a bag. I know that's the NFL but I'm not gonna act now like he's the good boy. Hope he brings us a ring tho.
Love this guy, but I wouldn’t have God involved in my contract decisions.
He apparently doesn’t understand how signing an extension works. 😂 When the hard questions started, I love my wife and Jesus. 😂
No maybe you don’t understand what’s important rn at all. I feel sad for you. He was honest in his interview and has faith. It’s not uncommon at all these days to talk about a wife and Jesus. What’s the matter with you hater?
@@SheBitesUncensoredApparently I don’t, thank you for showing me the way.
@@jeffhallii7907don’t be a jerk
@@gabrielbell9154 🤣
So its not his agent its his wife 😂😂😂
This dude mentions how his wife is his best friend all the time.
I would hate to be the one who upsets this PSHYCO'S wife.😂😂😂
Jesus is LORD.
What kind of high school locker room is that? Bengals are broke! C’mon down to Atlanta Trey! Get treated like the superstar you are!
Sometimes the business side sucks. I wish we could sign Trey for a record deal.
What is this about, then? Exposure? I don't understand what the fuss is. 9-7 last season, this man played his rear off. Thank you for mentioning Jesus and Family. The wife and I are 65 now, and worked Hard our whole lives, but losing the home, with work hours cut in half, and groceries unaffordable. Good luck, and WhoDey. No time for sports, or phony drama, now.
Hendrickson is a beast... love to see him at practice!!!
The guys probably got a workout bonus, but it's still good to see him there
We definitely need this guy!
I know the Bengals don’t like signing guys over 30, but I’d sign this guy until he’s 34 over signing Tee Higgins.
Facts
Lov Trey! Bengals are lucky to have him!
If we keep him around he will retire a bengals legend
💯 respect his view on its not the team's fault and not thinking like that
Big man… glad to have you in the fold. Need that talent. Big year incoming.
You signed a contract trey what are we talking about 😂 after this year they can negotiate and this is the last guaranteed year I would try to get the deal done especially if they dont sign tee to a full deal there might be some money on the table but they arent going to have murphy wait in the wind if he is good i think they move somebody either trey or sam
Sounds like Bengals will take care of Trey after this year
He totally gets it " it's business" not personal and he KNOWS the coach and his teammates LOVE him selfless team first guy does whatever it takes to win and cares about his team 😊
I love Trey WHODEY!!
Hes gotta be one of my favorite players in all of the nfl. Class act.
He needs a new agent
Great player's great reasoning.
Still a dick move. I’m glad he’s here but he is double talking.
Maybe there’s a little bit of double talking but I wouldn’t say it’s a dick move. It’s a business. Players are going to try and do what’s best for them and their family. And the team is going to do what’s best for them. It wasn’t the smartest way to go about it because he has no leverage. He should’ve just bet on himself, not signed the extension last year and he’d be a UFA next offseason. But asking for a pay increase or trade request isn’t a “dick move,” it’s just a business decision. Unless… do you think it’s a “dick move” when the team cuts a player with years remaining on its contract? Like they were going to do with Mixon this offseason until the Texans offered a trade. If your answer is no, then I don’t think you’re being fair in saying a player making a request like this is being a dick. If team’s are allowed to not honor a contract, I don’t fault a player in not wanting to do the same when they feel they’ve outplayed the contract. And Trey certainly has.
I’m a Bengals fan first and foremost. My allegiance is not with a specific player. I’m glad the contract is what it is and I’m glad he’s come to his senses and is reporting to OTAs. Still, I understand where players are coming from and I’m pointing out the double standard here.
@@no2_j requesting the day before the draft less than 6 months after you sign an extension on your own volition is pretty much a dick move.
@@danmoore9143 answer my question though. Were the Bengals dicks for releasing Mixon? Which is what they were doing before the Texans swooped in at the 11th hour and offered a late round pick. If you say yes, then cool, at least you’re consistent.
@@bobbill-yu3fc huh? I made no point? You missed it then. And just because he was traded doesn’t negate the fact that he was going to be released. I remember the news clearly that day, that he was being released. Then, hours later, news broke that the Texans had called and offered a trade instead (presumably so they wouldn’t head into a bidding war with other potentially interested teams). But the Bengals were absolutely releasing him. Even so, teams release players all the time before their contract is up. The Broncos just did it this offseason with Russ. Granted, they paid a hefty cap penalty for it. But there are plenty of examples out there where teams release players with no or very little cap penalty.
So my point still stands: if teams can *not* honor a contract willy nilly, why do we begrudge a player for wanting to renegotiate a better deal? Again, in this case, Trey had no leverage unfortunately for him and fortunately for us fans and the Bengals. But I do not begrudge him for feeling the way he did. Also, I think a lot of this came from his agent. I think he needs to find a new one. Both for the poor decision to extend last year, and for the poor advice given to him this offseason.
