I LOVE SkyQuake and am very much looking forward to Dreadwing. I do wish you had showed off the optional ab-crunch and back-crunch as both help when posing. I think this is an absolutely incredible mold, but so many missed the correct transformation and are not seeing how great this mold actually is.

That nosecone transformation worked with Skyquake too! It makes his head sit inside the body a lot better now

Dreadwing comes in a closed box package.
He includes a sword and a machine gun.
You’ve can use paint pens to repaint Dreadwing’s body features and his machine gun.
Omg I hated transforming skyquake because I was doing multiple steps wrong. 🤦♂️ this solves all my issues lol thanks!

Just found one at my local Walmart and got stuck on the backpack so glad I found your video
That nosecone folding was minor challenge, once I had it right it popped back out. But I got it to stick the right way. The challenge was to apply the proper amount of force without knocking his head off or dislodging anything else.

That sword in the gun. Just give it a really hard push and it fits is beautifully tight.
I got my copy of this guy and goddamn he's awesome. Cannot wait to get skyquake and RID Strongarm to bulk up my Prime characters in my generations collection

That's strange, I never had any problems getting Skyquake's sword to store properly in his cannon.
I didn't care for the transclearant piece on the chest allowing me to see all the stuff hidden inside him, so I took some aluminum tape (the stuff you use for ducting NOT duct tape) and put that on the back, now it's all chromy, it looks cool imo
Funny thing is I didn't like Skyquake, but that was because of the coloring, not the mold, lol
I would really like to see them do an updated version of the G2 dreadwing/smokescreen triple changer figure. I had that figure standing above my desk back in the day. I got stupid and sold it, along with my old powermaster prime, and laser prime.
The mold reminds me of a smaller version of the Transformers Classics King Atlas

The proper transformation really helps this guy but also for plane mode what you can do is put the sword the other way then have the landing gear straight and it should stay and not wobble.
Just got Dreadwing and the rest of the final wave of evolution and after messing around with him a bit , I do concur my good fellow , Dreadwing does have the better color pallet and how rude of megatron to interrupt there beautiful singing , I do say very bad show indeed .

I’m sure someone already mentioned it here but Nonnef has a kit that comes with a better sword and parts for the cannon to improve it
It was made for Skyquake, but it’ll work for both of them
I still find that to be sad in terms of dreadwing and skyquake,on one hand skyquake got to die in battle with honor basically while on the other hand his brother was basically "stabbed" in the back just cause of starscream
Kind of poetic, seeing that Dreadwing thought his brother was dishonored for his death, when he served that fate

@emgo316 I have a question, Recently got a Gundam Ver Ka model of Wing Zero Custom, and One of the Wings is loose on the peg, Peg Hole Slot, What sort of material would you use to tighten it up for normal friction and how? On the Peg? In the hole? I was thinking a dab of Clear nail polish around the peg. I don't want to ruin this thing so please some advice?
I'm glad Emgo found out about the correct transformation. But I'm actually surprised he couldn't combine both weapons; it's actually quite simple.
So can Skyquake be fully transformed or was it an issue they fixed with Dreadwing?
@@Castle80I think Skyquake can be fully transformed it’s just we didn’t do it correctly.
I always love a new Dreadwing in my collection, and this is no exception. The backback engineering is a bit of a nightmare though sadly.
I'm still patiently waiting for a proper G2 stealth bomber update to do the original figure justice. Unfortunately the only "updated" one I know about and own is the thrilling 30 deluxe figure. And its just a repaint of the thrilling 30 Megs with a new head. Although with this one coming out now we probably won't see another Dreadwing until 2027-2028.

You can fix the sword issue with a hair dryer. Bit scary with the transparant plastic but it works.
I have the same irritation about the shoulder joints not locking in. It feels, on a figure that's otherwise so sturdy, a very flimsy piece, and I worry for its longevity
i think the weapon from SS game edition megs would fit perfectly on his cannon.. just a suggestion. 😊

I tried the order of operations fix for the backpack, but I feel like it will just snap if I try to force it on my skyquake. REALLY wanted to that to work
This mold looks pretty cool and I’d love to get one, but I’m not really into Prime so I’m passing on these guys. I’m an eternal Starscream fan so I’ve got my fingers crossed for a Machine Wars Starscream repaint to eventually come out. Bonus points if I can give him the Coronation cape and Galvatron’s cannon.
I think you may have missed a very pronounced and capable "Unn-Tsss Unn-Tsss" on the head. On mine, the neck seems to be on a little rail.
In order to get the nose cone in, I had to grab my snippers and cut the wheel of the landing gear off. No figure should have such rudiculous tolerances with such horrible instructions
Ngl I’m curious if the studio series will ever do figures for Animated and Prime🤔. These r good but I still prefer how they actually look in the show
You're putting the sword in the wrong way. The angled side should be the one being put into the slot

I don’t like this mold enough to buy it again. Even when transformed correctly, it is still not fun to handle or pose.

Placement of the Decepticon insignia on his chest is not accurate. In the show it's on his upper chest and to the right.
His whole chest isn’t accurate lol. This is blending two different designs.
I do want to get both Skyquake and Dreadwing but I am hoping to get Snarl first. I know they will also probably recolor this mold into a proper G1 Skyquake hopefully maybe even a remold into Machine Wars Starscream.
