Thanks, Mysti. High praise indeed considering the source. This was a compilation of at least 5 different trips. I'd be exhausted trying to do all those places in one trip! LOL BTW, I still have featured your vid "Different" on my homepage. One of my all-time favorites!
wow, the colour of the trees are amazing! you guys certainly have a head for heights bigben. I never care how high I am, AS LONG AS I'VE GOT ONE FOOT ON THE GROUND! Were the pics taken in Autumn, or 'Fall' as our US cousins call it?
Canyon d Chelley - I know it well. Folks live at the bottom of it on all that beautiful grass down there. I always thought that would be one of the coolest places on the planet to live. Cheers friend. Good job.
Thanks! One day I'll get busy and convert some of analog 8mm stuff to digital, especially the helicopter rides thru the Rockies of British Columbia. These were all 35mm that I had to scan in and the quality in not nearly as good as the original.
Lance, yes, de Chelley is a cool place. Deer running around in the orchards. The only partridge I've ever seen in the wild was there. Very memorable place!
I lived in New England for about 10 years. Some may think the color of those trees are faked. No way. Beautiful. Was born and raised out West - All that beauty is for real as well. As for the pretty girl with the long legs? Well, just another blessing of Mother Nature in my book. You do a great job of capturing such wonders Ben. I shutter to think how your talent lense itself to this art forum. It really reflex positively on your autistic ability and creative focus. (not youtube mispellings) 5*
Didn't have wine, but that view of the canyon is permanently etched in my memory. No picture will ever capture it. Interesting the white cliff ridge behind me in the shot at 4:23 is 14 miles away. The one behind it is 65 miles away! 70 mile views are commonplace in Arizona and Utah. incredibly clear air.
Yes, most of the colourful ones were shot last October in the "Fall". :) Those are from around Grandfather Mtn in the Smoky Mtns (they live up to their name, as you can see) of North Carolina. I see you've been to Lismore lately....I gotta go check that one out! Slan!
Thanks, Rafael....I'm still waiting for that royalty check from the Tourist Board. Ha! But, I love Nature, and she knows no sovereign borders....as you can tell from my videos.
That sweep at 3:05 is actually Lake Powell upstream from the Grand Canyon where the Colorado is dammed and morphs into the Canyon de Chelley where the Pueblo village is and then into the Bryce Canyon hoodoos and finally back into the Grand Canyon briefly at 4:03.
Interesting you mention the song, Tom. I've looked at the Insight data on some of my vids and notice that they taper off towards the middle. My original intention was to do essentially the same video with one of my songs and a snappy song like this one and then compare the ratings. Sounded too much like a Nielsen ploy. Aaarggh! I feel like I sold my soul. LOL But. yes, these pics need music that soars!!! And, I think I know just the one...... ;-)
America is a beautiful Country of that there is no doubt!...It would take a lifetime for me to see everything that I would want to see!. I would start in the southern states (15-16 years should cover the major places) then New England and everywhere else after that...
LOL. Yeah, jelasings, I'm pretty fearless, but I'll probably never get Judy back up there again. Almost lost her on the climb to the shot at 2:05. She slipped and as I was pulling her up with one hand I said, "In case I never get another chance to tell you, I love you!" It was the first time. True story!
Julia, I think you've got me. I've been hiking above 10,000ft in the Canadian Rockies of BC, but I don't think above the 12,000ft of Lake Titicaca....but, hey! I was in a helicopter part of the time, too....does that count? Haha!
Hey, Rick! Good to see you over here on this side of the Pond! "McDonald's restaurant"....that's an oxymoron, isn't it? When you get here, buddy, stop by my house and I'll cook you a real hamburger! No Americans (with kids over the age of 8) ever go in McDonalds. LOL

Thanks, Pino, always good to hear from you. I'm glad you stayed until the end for dessert! ;-)

Thanks, Lance. Beauty in Nature is all around us (but, yeah, it's hard to beat the feminine form). We just need to slow down long enough to see it.

If Paul can do Welsh legs in shorts (or a kilt), then he is truly exceptional!!!
Good place to start, Lee. Be sure to stop by for a pint....just don't expect to stay 15-16 years. LOL
wow looks like theres lots fo beauty to see there i have not been to the us yet but will get there some day :) 5*****
Not surprised? Now, now, Carolyn....remember, never judge too quickly!

LOL....yeah, that bright, white flash at 1:30 was just a reflection, not trick photography.
