I'm a 76 years old Marine and take pride that, "I can fix stuff". Thanks to your video I was able to replace the belt (LC221A) and I now I can continue to get much needed exercise by mowing my own yard. Thank you.
I once replaced the belt on my dryer. I ripped all my nails off (real nails) lol and was bruised all up my arms from hugging the drum while trying to wrap the belt around. I'll never do that again lol
I do believe you gave the wrong advice on where the tension cable goes, It goes in the middle of the belt not on the outside. See 8:17 in video when the plastic cover is removed. Just an observation. Thanks
amateur, there is a set screw mechanism on the cable, you turn it 3 times out , and then your 4x4 works again when you switch it on, everything with the ratchet wrench is not okay, that's how you turn everything crazy. prefer to use ODM parts rather than imitation . and that cable should be between the belt and not outside the belt. if you do, do it well. with your sandblasting machine, ps. no wonder that blade is so worn out.😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣👊👍💪🏻
Your only an amateur if your calling someone else one. Tightining the “screw mechanism” does not always fix the self propel. If you worked on small engines for a living you would probably know that. Being kind cost nothing, but your comment could cost someone something.

Raleigh don't forget to pour gas over the spark plug it really cleans out the points.
Thanks for sharing information and advice 😊
I'm surprised you were able to do this without removing the exit shoot and it was possible this way thanks it works obviously. Thanks
Thanks!! Excellent Video!!
No problem my friend

I believe your right. If you put it on the outside, it WILL wear out the cable and/or the belt!
Worst it’s missing the cover over the belts and pulley’s
Love watching a mans forearm's while he's fixing things.....Sigh 😀
Although there is a brake handle on this machine, DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG. Did I mention to DISCONNECT THE SPARK PLUG?
What's the model # of the mower, please?
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Have you done this before?
No This was the first one I’ve ever owned.
Also, remember it’s the Internet, so I’m an expert at this as well
