I never have replaced a drive belt on any of my mowers or had one slip or break. Then again I’ve only owned 2. I’ve noticed a lot of grass build up under that belt cover and around there on my recycler and if I recall correctly I don’t have a belt guide on mine but never had it fall off. Great video!
How about some expanded content on riding mowers and their options? I think the YT platform could use it and your thoroughness, formatting, and presentation would get a lot of views.
Great video! The toro I picked up just like this one free on the side of the road just needed gas. I plan to do the belt soon! Then sell it or just use it for as long as the kohler engine will last.
@@GarageGear I agree my main mower is a 1978 john deere 316k rider. My main push mower is a John Deere 14se and love that thing. The toro is my back up if I decide to keep it. Its nice but I don't love it.
@@GarageGear surprisingly it did when I got it 2 years ago but I don't ever use it. I'd sell the stuff for it or trade for the battery cover thing if you have a spare. I had to rig a different battery in the original was still in it when I bought it. I do believe I've got the original key as well but I'd have to look.
