I honestly don't understand what so many people are complaining about. The whole point is to introduce new ways each profession can be played. If you don't like the new elite specializations, then you don't have to play them. They can't satisfy every single player, but they can listen to the community and respond with new mechanics based on the majority. Also, please don't forget that it's very difficult to create expansions. The fact that they're keeping the level cap at 80, which allows for core GW2 fans to remain somewhat relevant in their builds and specs, is huge as it is. And I greatly appreciate the fact that they're trying to keep each profession as individualistic as possible while still adding more content to each one.

oh wow, I just realise Holosmith actually have the fighting style like Noctis from ffxiv. The ability to change weapon type in the midst of battle. Really great implementation, can't wait to try all of the new specs.
well they are kinda like the same concept. Ability to change weapon type. Pretty cool to see anet bring it into a spec especially engis are literally jack of all trades except the theme this time round is a weapon smith.
Pet-haters have been requesting forever for them to stow their pet and have the bonus stats, and that's Anet's answer to them, not much else. I expect we're able to use about 2 additional skills while in infused mode.
It would be all fine if specialization would empower rangers main weapon.. longbow/shortbow, not some dagger melee crap. It proves Anet has no ideas how to evolve their game. They could do so much more with trapper and or preparations like in GW1.... This skills are literally copied from other classes, nothing unique here..
I can't believe how incredible these look compared to the previous ones. Thief finally having a rifle, Elementalists COMBINING their elements, Rangers fusing with their pets to shred enemies [as opposed to the BS full healer spec they got before, still annoyed at that] and, my favorite, Necromancer becoming such a gorgeous offensive support, even if it means sacrificing the Shroud [which i never liked anyway, it felt like most Necros depended on it way too much, which overshadowed everything else they could do].
Reaper still looks like the best since HoT, I will probably keep my Necro as a Reaper through the next expansion. I gotta say the most of the other classes are getting huge improvements on their elites!

crypto66 yea it's like a stance that comes with limited "ammunition" aka charges, so you can use 5 like twice if not wrong. And in that stance, your skill do a different thing probably, so 5 is like the stealth mechanic which gives you a secondary attack. There will be a preview that every player can try out next week

The Engineer seems like the most disappointing one, and I mained Engineer. I love the steam punk brass theme with big fancy guns. Anything light based is basically "We take a basic shape and make it a single color" It doesn't feel like it has form or weight. A big flintlock hand held cannon feel like you can smack a giant over the head and crack it's skull. You can make a light hammer the size of a sky scraper and it will still feel like feather weight glass no matter what. Instead of light it would've been much more awesome for them to master plasma and lightning. Infusing their energy like the one flowing through their buildings and golems, and using it to magnetically levitate and fuse their weapons and machines. Imagine having lightning bolts go from your arms to two metal arms for each arm and each single handedly wielding a two handed rifle. Then once your energy to hold them up start to run dry you can launch them as projectiles against enemies or unleash one final rifle flurry enhancing the bullets with your plasma electricity.
You don't know if it's just blatantly the blur effect or some other mechanic though. Those orbs could have some implication on the dodging mechanic for example.
I think they meant it this way: Normally you would dodge by rolling. but on mirage you won't roll, you would have the blur effect instead to help the mesmer to have further tools to deceive.
In my humble opinion they all fit and are good (engineer truly looks bad ass) even though as a necro I have my doubts on giving up the shroud I probably wont xD, but I do have a REAL CONCERN with the thief having ranged they are already really hard to even hit jumping and teleporting all over the place and now with range what would really stop them from attacking while always having distance? >>get close burst jump away and finish with ranged?

Revs don't have a second ranged weapon which can be pretty limiting for WvW in particularly. It's fairly likely the shortbow will be condi ranged damage, which they otherwise had no access to. They barely had any other condis outside of axe at all.

I hope they make a couple alternative factions one can join if wanted, this would enable open world pvp against warring factions. One would not need to join these factions. And if you choose not to join one, then players cant attack you. This would fit perfectly with the game and fix one of the last truly game changing options missing.

Americans have to pay a huge amount of taxes. You also have to consider that everyone else is doing that. Example is the Switch (300 in America, 330 in Europe). Don't be stupid.
I also think it's going to be the weakest elite. You can't have a medium class with mele-weapons without extra evades. The off hand doesn't count in my book. Some of the reasons why the thief can hold its ground are because of its stealth and evade abilities.
All these people mad about their main class not getting the weapon they wanted to use, or the gamemode they stay in gets unbalanced by a ton of new content

I see what you mean, though this looks like more of a physical/scrimmage speed spec that's arguably more in line with the basic ranger. Bearing in mind the main purpose of elite specs is to open up a new weapon for the class, there's not a lot that fits with ranger that it can't already use. Pistols and rifles may come down the line, though.

For the Deadeye, it seems like a exact replica of the sniper from SWTOR. You camp down to extend your range and use stronger abilities.

there is,isen't a new mechanic the blur efect,you already can blur and walk in direction to the enmmy
