Remember plenty of the other cases were post 2020. I think the spelunker from episode 1 was from 2023 or 2024, the case of the speaking corpse was 2024, I want to say one of the Derrian cases was 2024, and others. Though I thought the lobotomy case was decades if not centuries old? That is the case when its regarding letters instead of electronic messages, and those were letters, right? Someone else's theory (you can find it in the comments of that episode) was that that was either Fr3-D1 or Norris, or Chester, or Augustus, telling the OIAR staff that they want out of the computer, like how that man's subconcious wanted out of his mind. So in any case (literally) you are onto something that they may contain messages betwren the computers and the staff.

Okaaaay this episode had me freaking out. One, the tape recorder monster thingy is mentioned again, and HELEN!? It’s so weird hearing her without being traumatized or being Spiral Helen. Also Alice getting more and more interested in the statements or whatever is intriguing.

Well well well, it's that time of the week again! Another episode, another analysis. First off, Celia pulling out a big knife has the same energy as Jon somehow getting his hands on an axe in central London. Next, the Case seems to be largely End themed with the focus being on the victim's reaction to someone they're close with dying and not being sure how to react or handle it. The Case itself isn't too interesting but that ending is very juicy! ERROR (aka Almost-Certainly-Jon) calls itself an Archivist and suddenly screams for some reason, maybe he just wanted to jumpscare the poor guy. Nice to see Alice putting the pieces together and realising that she and Sam set ERROR free from beneath the Institute. Last thing on the Case, it takes place on 14 April 2024, which is two days after Gwen encountered Ink5oul and ERROR. Before I dive into the bit with Helen, I just wanna acknowledge the transcript for a second: "A fancy real estate office. Swanky and soulless." Once again, Celia isn't being very subtle that she knows more than she's letting on. She also gasps upon seeing Helen, which is understandable if you remember that Distortion Helen tried to eat Celia in the tunnels. Helen herself was a delight as always but uh "eco-warrior neighbours" and "GDPR rubbish"? Careful Helen, your Tory is showing. On a more serious note, a couple of things she says seem to trigger a response from Freddy "Sorry to keep you waiting" and "Pleasure". It's not the same sound as when the others tell a lie but it feels too intentional, especially since Distortion's whole shtick was that while it didn't lie it would tell half-truths and omit details. Hopefully we'll see her again and that will shed some light on what these sounds mean. The last segment was both a little tense and hilarious. Celia feeling like she's being watched could refer to Freddy accessing her laptop to spy on them or ERROR watching them from afar. But holy moly, the "maybe I should put you to bed?" line had me cackling and the transcript made it better: "Sam is awkward. Celia is not." That about does it for this week, seems like a confrontation with ERROR is what the season is building up to which I'm all for! SEE you next week everyone!
When Helen laughed at the end of the interview, there's a bit of that deep resonance that would be present whenever Distortion!Helen would show up and in her version of the corridors. *spoiler* *spoiler* The Spiral was often represented by fractals, so perhaps when Jon was chasing her, it split part off, enough to fool Jon into thinking it was destroyed, and followed Annabel through the portal.

I don't think there is anÿ doubt, this Jared "Smith" is actually Jared Hopworth. Without the Bone Turner's Tale, but still obsessed with perfection of the human body. Which makes me think that the other victims of "The Archivist" aka Jonah Magnus, may have also been some form of avatar or statemnt maker from the TMA universe. After the episode Mixed Signals, there is definitely an underlying story of conscious vs. subconscious, and I believe the subconscious is allowing access across dimensions. The patient in Mixed Signals was surprised when the telegram started typing out messages, yet his subconscious was talking about "we" want out. As if it's the same subconscious entity, but multiple versions. I got a huge theory about a lot of the history that seems to be going on in TMP universe. But i haven't decided if I want to make a video explaining it or type it out and post it here. What do you all think I should do?
Interestingly I don't think that Mr. Jarrod is Jared Hopworth - noting the names are spelled differently, and the Mr. makes it sound like Jarrod is the victim's last name.
I think this archivist and the others were the ones waiting at the Watchers tower with the camera faces/giant eye balls. They all just want a statement, and they all may be waiting for JON (or working for him)
It’s interesting that Helen is now a real estate worker who sells people houses. It’s oddly similar to the DISTORTION trapping people in supernatural spaces usually houses.

Okay so, stay with me here yall. I wonder how long ago Jon, Martin, Jonah, and the fear powers transferred over to this universe. Cuz a lot of the old “statements” don’t align to a fear power (they more tackle desires, and how the deep want for something can create horror), but lots of the newer ones align to an old fear power. I wonder if JMJ JUST ended up in the computers at the start of this series and have slowly been gaining consciousness, or if they have been there for years. It seems to me that they just got there recently.
Just got caught up again (yes pun intended) this is getting pretty interesting! It's a lot heavier out the gate on the office vibe but the stories are still interesting. I appreciate that it's managed to keep me guessing as a fan of the original series, I'm very excited to see how it turns out.

I think the Archivist is Someone Else, we did see examples of other Archivists in TMA after all (see: TMAG 53: Crusader)

It's so interesting how it introduced itself as "an archivist" instead of "The Archivist"! This makes me wonder, if it were to locate Jon, if Chester really is him, would it be able to do something to the computers? Like- make the 3 conscious again or something.
Would [ERROR] perceive Jon as like a higher being and would treat him as its master? Cuz he was The Important Figure of horror back in TMA I guess

Ironically I spent so much time listening to this episode I almost missed the bus and had to run to the stop. No archivists behind me I’m pretty sure
It is remarkably easy to buy a big knife in central London
I don't think there is anÿ doubt, this Jared "Smith" is actually Jared Hopworth. Without the Bone Turner's Tale, but still obsessed with perfection of the human body. Which makes me think that the other victims of "The Archivist" aka Jonah Magnus, may have also been some form of avatar or statemnt maker from the TMA universe.
After the episode Mixed Signals, there is definitely an underlying story of conscious vs. subconscious, and I believe the subconscious is allowing access across dimensions. The patient in Mixed Signals was surprised when the telegram started typing out messages, yet his subconscious was talking about "we" want out. As if it's the same subconscious entity, but multiple versions.
I got a huge theory about a lot of the history that seems to be going on in TMP universe. But i haven't decided if I want to make a video explaining it or type it out and post it here. What do you all think I should do?

Interestingly I don't think that Mr. Jarrod is Jared Hopworth - noting the names are spelled differently, and the Mr. makes it sound like Jarrod is the victim's last name.
I think this archivist and the others were the ones waiting at the Watchers tower with the camera faces/giant eye balls. They all just want a statement, and they all may be waiting for JON (or working for him)
It’s interesting that Helen is now a real estate worker who sells people houses. It’s oddly similar to the DISTORTION trapping people in supernatural spaces usually houses.
She aleeady was one, that's how Michael lured her in to then eat her after she Made her statement.

I wonder how long ago Jon, Martin, Jonah, and the fear powers transferred over to this universe. Cuz a lot of the old
“statements” don’t align to a fear power (they more tackle desires, and how the deep want for something can create horror), but lots of the newer ones align to an old fear power. I wonder if JMJ JUST ended up in the computers at the start of this series and have slowly been gaining consciousness, or if they have been there for years. It seems to me that they just got there recently.
