Regarding 1:54, the 2025 Quintuple Sovereigns in BU matt finish are nearly sold out. As of this Wednesday morning November 6, 2024, there are only 14 of these large gold coins remaining out of a mintage of 350 coins. Their price is £3,320 each.
super set ,, really like that shield type design from 1825 , where nearly everything had very fine drapery and fancy design. the eye appeal is all there on this set.
Very nice coin!! Love the shield. Way too many "special" sovs... Can't understand why the George & the Dragon proof is more expensive. Despite that, will try to pick up the half and full or 3 set if I can find. Can't help myself :)
Hello Brother Numi, i gotta start getting back into all of this, ive had a lot of other crap going on lately, especially the major heart attack I'm recovering from😢 Theres a few coins that i got on your recommendation that need to be graded and the best one, or two i should say, are The 2019 Una and The Lion "great engravers" proof and the Piedfort Sovereign which is a real beautiful coin. I should've gotten a 1847 Gothic crown in 58 when i had the chance, now the price is way up there for that same coin😮
Very Nice ... shame they won't be doing the shield on the bullion range.. but also , I think the Mint has been lazy here.. if you look at original 1825 proofs they wasn't frosted all over the shield like these.. but still very nice ... I wonder if they will do the 1830/31 shield design...
Oh so I couldn't get the four coin set anywhere else, with the exception of aftermarket, didn't realise it was exclusive to the mint. I thought perhaps the Perth Mint would get some in. Oh well. They'll have the three coin set and the individual sov and half boxes. We'll see how much my FOMO has subsided whether I spring for the three coin or just get a full sov.
I guess it doesn't matter. All good things come to those who wait... And were in early to get this set! Record sell out I think! A flash and they were gone 😮 Probably lots pre-sold to secondary market surely 🤔 I didn't even see the set listed! 😮

Because they can. It’s priced on the price plan for celebration sovereign rather than regular sovereign.

The shields were definitely cameo in 1825 but there was only a pattern and proof of record that year
@@Numistacker Yes , and a milled edge 8 heart semee and plain edge 7 heart ..all very rare .. I hope they decide to do the William IV shield also..

Only place to get the 4 coin set is Harrington and Byrne. Its exclusive to them

wish i had bought the 5 coin set now but at 6k just to much money IMO
