That's awesome! Glad I'm timely, for once! :D And I thought in my head that nobody else would have the problem I did, in finding this exact setup. Glad I'm not alone!
I use a quick release for my dSLR and tripod. A nice addition, is the plate system I got, has a leveling bubble on it. Makes it nice when moving the tripod around so that you can quickly level the camera, even if the ground isn't level.
Oh, I am missing out for sure, then! Where were you in the middle of the night when I was bleary-eyed from searching quick release systems, and just clicked ORDER :D All kidding aside, a level would be nice, but my mirrorless cameras have the level built in, so I guess I shouldn't feel TOO bad :D Thanks for watching, Dewey!
I've seen an Insta 360 selfie stick fail and the camera fell off the bike onto the road. things need to be maintained and sometimes that just mean replacement. I like the mount, looks pretty handy...........................................JB..
Ouch! That's great advice - I guess we've both had cameras fall on the road :( I'm keeping an eye on the Insta selfie stick... at this point, I've more than got my money's worth out of it, so a new one is probably in the cards soon. The Falcam is slick - and I'm really liking it :D It's definitely helping my production speed.
I went over it in this video: ua-cam.com/video/adSe-uvUeCI/v-deo.html BUT... The short answer is ergonomics. The slightly longer answer is physical buttons. The long answer? Watch the video on my main channel. Clear as mud, right?
LITERALLY was just searching for this a day ago and was struggling to find or the right search terms to find this. Thank you!

Also what made you choose the Nikon vs the Sony ZV-E1?
