This was logical imo. If Iron Bull sacrifices the lives of those he sees as family to live by the Qun, he would not forsake the Qun now for the Inquisitor.
cole cant tell what information is and isnt obvious, thus he didnt reveal that solas was fen'harel because he wasn't aware that this wasn't well understood and on more than one occasion solas has asked cole to not dwell on or make attempts to mend his regret
You know what the worst part is? Bull turns on you in the event that you don't do his personal quest at all. Meaning the chargers are still alive by trespasser, and he abandons them.
Actually, won't those events still happen? Which means he leaned towards following the authority of the Qun, because he had no one there helping him see that he was meant to live outside of it.

The music was the saving grace of the DLC. The rest is chore.
