Thank for this. Always loved Will's melodic playing. I don't know how he manages to make a major scale sound exotic.
Great stuff in this one 👏
That was the dogs bollox of a guitar lesson 100% bang on like
Cheers 🍻
Now we know where the "echo" in their name came from. Such a great song. Thanks for the lesson breakdown!
You're very welcome!
Actually the name originated from the band not having a proper rhythm section(drummer), as they were using a drum machine only in their infancy.
@@videogeekinThat’s also false according to Will Sergeant their guitarist. Apparently they had a friend who came up with ridiculous band names that were often “X & the Ys”. Echo & the Bunnymen was one of them. Sergeant said they all thought it was “just as stupid as all the others”
Fantastic tutorial! I love Will Sargent's playing, especially on this song. Thanks for taking the time to do this!
Glad you liked it! I've done people are strange too, but need to do more from them!
I enjoyed this one. Simple song but a lot of parts for guitars. Great!
For sure!
Please make more Echo and the bunnymen tutorials
Cool. I'd love to!
Dude! Beautifully done and I don't know how you can pick 3-4 guitar parts and separate them. Lots of work on your part plus the tabs! You're a blessing and a Hero!
Thanks! Yeah all the lead stuff took some time... 😬
Great song, great band! Thanks
You're Welcome!
Thanks so much for the tabs and the instructions. One of the best songs from one of the best bands of the 80s. I only wish I could find an 80s cover band around here to play with.
You're welcome! Thanks for checking it out. Hopefully we can even have gigs again soon :)
You can play with our band
Awesome. Thanks. Might have to give this one a shot.
Lotta fun lead stuff here!
Love it.
Thanks 🎸
Thanks
You're welcome!

Thanks for checking it out!
Nice one👌
Thanks 🔥
Found myself here doing a search after hearing the song on Coast to Coast in the bumper rotation.
Just a note... it would help to zoom out a bit so we could see your picking hand - otherwise nice tutorial. :)
Cool. Good insight! I should probably slide over and show more of that... thanks!
Belo tutorial! Seu canal é muito bom.
Obrigado!
Been looking to play this for while cool can you try big audio dynamite e=mc2 any help on that be great
Cool. I need to go through their stuff!
Great lesson bro, you should try giving a lesson for Harold of the rocks by Primus it’s a killer song
I don't think I've heard that one. Maybe I can figure it out!
Esta musica vou reservar um tempo para estuda-la achei ela muito agradável de tocar.
Boa! Diverta-se
Is this in E Minor or Major?
It's actually in B major.
I just realised that the intro part 1 guitar chords seem to put empahis on the B. So B Major makes sense.
@@CWZGuitar but i thought i would be in E phrygian because of the flat second and 3rd
