Looking for StarCraft 3? Look no further! Blizzard may not give it to us anytime soon, but look no further! We've got the next best thing with the custom Scion Races Mod! This mod adds three new playable races to the StarCraft universe and feels like a complete overhaul of the game.
Today it's going to be an GvX (Genetron vs Xayid) Cast: Cognite (G) vs Quoror (X). As usual these two are bringing us a top notch game with nonstop action and pose a severe threat to my health and voice.
If you're new to this channel, I cast a wide range of StarCraft 2 content including casual games and modded games including viewer submitted content! If more casual and modded StarCraft are something you guys are interested in, please consider subscribing!
Since the majority of casts are of pro level games, I think it would be really interesting focus on StarCraft 2 ladder games from the more general population of StarCraft 2 players. Of course I will occasional host a pro-level match once in awhile, but for now I'm focused on casting StarCraft 2 from players in the community!

I think balancing the mod like it’s the official races, which means nerfing everything to a point where units and abilities feel flat, is a mistake
Amazing to see how these races and your casting techniques have developed over the last few years!
Notes: the spitter may need a range or attack speed reduction for balance, processing core when destroyed becomes a command center for the destruction animation

Yeah I noticed that too, I think I saw the animation change with the Xayid too at times

The orange race has extremely poor unit clarity.
There's actually a plan to overhaul the orange race and make the units look more plant-based. I'm hoping it comes out soon, it looks awesome
@@ElleixGaming I hope they just overhaul it like the rest of Scion races, without drastic changes to the Xayid aesthetic. Xayid always striked me as "natural" hivemind insectoid faction (even of we include unfinished official Xayid [or Xeyed, for olds] campaign lore), prime example being Xayidling, which is basicly Ultralisk head on a body of neutral crab mob and which I adore wholy with ALL my heart!
how do i play this mod?
You can play this one directly from StarCraft 2. When you're in the game, go to 'Custom' at the top, select melee, then choose whatever map you want. At the bottom there is a 'Create with Mod' button, click that, type 'Scion' and the Scion races mod should come up
Btw ill clapp anyone with this mod. Put yo money where ya keyboards at boys.
