Looks like we're witnessing two new playable races (factions) today!
This is going to be a custom StarCraft 2 UvU Cast: Asur (UPL) vs Barco (UED) featuring the UPL and UED Terran Races - well more like factions. These are custom modded races built by the StarCraft 2 community, and it makes you wonder: what would it be like if StarCraft 2 had multiple different factions within each race, but with different builds and mechanics? That's what we're about to see today!
If you're new to this channel, I cast a wide range of StarCraft 2 content including casual games and modded games including viewer submitted content! If more casual and modded StarCraft are something you guys are interested in, please consider subscribing!
Since the majority of casts are of pro level games, I think it would be really interesting focus on StarCraft 2 ladder games from the more general population of StarCraft 2 players. Of course I will occasional host a pro-level match once in awhile, but for now I'm focused on casting StarCraft 2 from players in the community!

1:35 UED (United Earth Directorate) are Terrans, Terrans aren't Terrans, Terrans are Koprulians :D
17:27 all UED units are produced by Teleportation Nodes. The Starship Maintenance Plant is just a tech structure.
I'm not sure about the most recent version of the UED faction, but it looks like the Crimson Eyes have to spend a bunch of energy to temporarily become detectors.
So, the UED travelled back in time to subjugate and later enlighten the UPL? Huh, time travel in an RTS... Seems familiar... Ahh, yes!

@Gaming 'As Kerrigan triumphantly returned to Char, a portal opened, pouring the Burning Legion onto the world. As the two forces started battling, Einstein made a mistake in his equations, bringing most soldiers on Earth into the StarCraft timeline. However, that was a time machine, and it opened a portal to the Age of Empires...
UED are Modern Humans of Earth, UPL are people of Earth right after those 4 supercariers departed, that eventially will end up in Koprulu. So UPL are predecessors of UED.
Terrans are all Humans in Koprulu Sector, ironically named after Earth itself. It would be correct to call UED and UPL *Human* factions, and all Human Koprulu factions *Terran* factions.
In this battle we see UED sectoral colonial defence forces (I believe main UED military forces are much more advanced than this UED faction), or their part that somehow ended up in Koprulu, fight againsted very poor and isolated group of Second Great (Koprulu) War's refugees, that got schematics of UPL arsenal, barely updated to minimum of modern standarts, that was stolen from UED Expeditionary Force archives during the Brood War and bought by those refugees on Black Market for relativly cheap price.

am curious, do you ever plan on finishing the Scion campaign or doing some more custom race fan made content? There's a lot of custom campaigns that would be cool to see you do.
There’s definitely a lot of community content I want to cover, it’s on my list. I gave myself a lot of projects so now I just have to manage them all 😂
nice! If you plan on doing the Scion campaign Duke went back and reworked the entire thing so it's a lot friendly to new players. Also maybe some UED First light?@@ElleixGaming

Not trying to be a dick, but please look at your sound settings. The sound from your mic seems to be clipping on some vowels, it's quite harsh to the ears. Ex: "spAwning" at 0:12 and "rEd" at 0:15
Difference between being a dick and giving some feedback, this is the kind of feedback I appreciate! I’ll see about my sound settings for future casts, it’s also possible I need to invest in a better mic 🫠

Is there any way to find a lost of units and buildings these factions have? Also, does anyone have a link to a website to get the mods for these factions?
UPL it is are earth nation on the first zerg attack Earth moment. UED it is the umproved technology earth.
Why ur casting always not clicking every unit to show their stats but always talking ur own story? Since ur video mostly casting on new races?

Similar to Scion, you can also play this one directly from StarCraft 2. When you select 'Custom' at the top, select melee, then choose whatever map you want. At the bottom there is a 'Create with Mod' button, click that, type 'All races' and the all races races mod should come up
