Just put long tubes with super ;) high flow cats on mine yesterday with outlaw race mufflers and resonator delete it's LOUD AS HELL long tubes made a huge difference in sound.
That's so kickass. I'd be looking for some tunnels and overpasses to bust thru. Lucky for me, my neighbors are cool with this stuff. Nice ride, sir. A+
just the price you pay, and it isn't always about the money, luckily my neighbors don't complain, got Stainless works retro chambered 3inch catback, there 1 7/8 Long tubes, and high flows. sounds amazing, pretty much like yours. have some subtle resonance, drone is very minimal. DynoSteve tuned. completely happy with it. Sounds good dude!!
Cool video. Beautiful car. I have 14 1SS. I've done pretty much the same shit you've done to yours. K&N Typhoon CAI, Stainless Works LTH w/out cats and a tune. Putting down 424 rwhp with 417ftlbs. The only difference is I have the stock dual mode exhaust which I absolutely love. Car is loud as F***. I installed a "mild 2 wild" switch which quiets it up when I roll through my neighborhood but beside that I keep it open all the time. I really like your comment about it not being the fastest car out there. You know, there not but I don't care about that. It's all about the enjoyment you get out of driving it. Every time you turn it over its an adventure. It's therapy from the everyday grind bullshit that we all put up with. Cam is going in around October/November of this year and then I'll probably take a break from mods for a while. HP is not cheap....Anyway, cool review of your car. Thanks for posting and enjoy it brother 🍻
Amazing how much the headers do for the volume. My Camaro was far louder with headers and full exhaust than my vette is with stock manifolds and straight pipe
Oh nice! I started with the Diablo sport Intune. Awesome heldheld tuner. The longtubes sound amazing with the factory dual mode exhaust if you were to go that route. I was going to cam mine this week, but i decided against it. I'll probably wait until warranty is gone before I start doing any big stuf. You can only get away with so much lol.
Awesome-sounding SS! I think headers are next on my shopping list, but not sure which brand/size I want yet. Would you still recommend TSP headers? Or are there any others you think you'd try instead if to do it over again? My current setup is Borla ATAK with x-pipe, and a K&N Blackhawk CAI. Was really pleasing and loud for a while, but I've kinda grown numb to it. Feeling the need to go louder...
I highly recommend TSP for the price and quality. If you have a little extra to spend, you can’t go wrong with Kooks. The longtubes will give you the sound you are looking for and make a HUGE difference in power, ESPECIALLY if you get it tuned. Longtubes paired with Borla ATAK is ridiculous. You will love it!
+taylor “gdod” hustle Yes, removing cats will void warranty. At least at my dealership. TSP gives you what "looks" like cats with the longtubes. You can also get a tune written to keep CEL off. If you're worried, go with the longtubes and high flow cats. They still sound anazing!
So no issues with the TSP headers? I'm thinking about these for my 14 sierra. Instead of dropping 1200$ on kooks or ARH, i could get TSP with a Catted Y-pipe for 800ish. Not racing or anything i just love the sound headers bring at WOT. Plus hoping with the Tune, MIT, and headers i can net some power and turn these 33.5" RTs a little easier. Just switched tires and it's very very sluggish now.
Hey brother l changed both rear hub assemblies on my Camaro and that clicking sound is gone, thank you so much for that advice l would have never figured that out!
I’m wanting to place my order today. My setup is same as yours I’m just missing the Texas speed headers. I’m going catless also. Did u purchase directly from Texas speed? I was guna go boost district cuz the lower price
I got speed engineering 1 7/8 I haven’t got no issue with it. I was going to get TSP headers with no cats at first, but your spending 600. I only spend a total of 400 dollars. Now here’s my advice if your going to install them your self. Be gentle taking the bolts out. Go in and out. Don’t just take them out and don’t get to confident on the last bolt after taking most of them out. I rather tell you my friend to take it to a shop who can install it. That way if they snap a bolt they have all the special equipment needed to take that snapped bolt out. Plus might as well get it tuned.
Did you have any issues installing these? I wanna get the TSP long tube & offroad x-pipe package but I'm not too sure if they'll connect to the stock npp exhaust or if they'd have to be welded on.
David Maldonado It should bolt right up to your factory NPP exhaust. I would call customer service just to double check. I had no fitment issues when clamping them to my factory exhaust, but I didn't have the NPP. They should fit, and you'll get an incredible sound with longtubes combined with the NPP!
Nasty 2SS Alright then sounds like I should be good. I'm going to go ahead and put the order in for these asap. Thanks for the help man, your SS sounds mean as hell.
Thanks! Hmm... I would say I spent roughly about $1,400.00. That was with installing the headers myself, not paying a shop labor. Headers after tax and shipped I believe we're about $800.00 and the tune was about $430.00 after tax. The rest was spent on the the piping from the headers back and the X-pipe.
Sounds great. Any numbers from the Dyno you can share? I'm running a ZL1 2013 , totally different engine. Just wanted to see numbers from your setup. Was looking to get some headers as well.
If I remember correctly it made 436rwhp, and 430rwtq. I would love to have a ZL1 haha. Headers and tune would make that thing even more of a monster than it already is!
ive seen two different sizes for headers , 1 7/8 and i think the other was 1 3/4 ... which one should i get? im looking for a nice deep, aggressive sound and some pop and backfire noise. i will also be looking to install an aftermarket camshaft, which would be the best for an old school deep chopping, i want a real loud muscle car feel with this SS
yes, it did throw a code. When I dyno tuned mine, I had them tune it to where it wouldn't throw codes. No MIL on, and all readiness monitors are complete. It does crack and pop a bit when letting off the gas, but it's not horrible. However, it's pretty loud if your letting of the gas, then tap the gas peddle haha.
BadAssEngineering most of the time, a properly designed exhaust will improve the engines scavenging properties, making it more efficient. You should get more power and mpg should improve a little. It’s just hard to see gains in mpg because most people like to drive WOT quite often to hear that beautiful sound lol.
I don't know if you will respond to this, I hope you do. I'm about to run the same set up on my 2014 ss ls3 camaro, I have the npp exhaust on it and just got the tsp long tube headers with cat delete and 3 inch x pipe. I was wondering what programmer you went with so you didnt through a check engine light. or did you just have them turned off? Hopefully you can get back to me, it would be much appreciated.
Mitchelly Garcia Hey, when I first installed my long tubes I was using a Diablo Sport Intune, handheld tuner. I had no option to keep the CEL off. I went and got mine dyno tuned. The longtubes and dyno tune was some of the best money I've spent on the car (other than the TSP cam). Go ahead and get it tuned and enjoy! :)
Nasty 2SS, hey thanks man I appreciate it a ton. The cam might be next, but I'm in the Army and I'm supposed to deploy sometime in the next few months, so a supercharger would be in the mix for sure. So would I need both? the programmer and the dyno? Or could I just go straight to the dyno shop and have them tune it for me?
Mitchelly Garcia Nice man! Yeah, forget about the handheld. I had that before I even got my headers. Go straight for dyno tune. You'll pick up some good gains and be CEL free! Only downfall is your mouth will hurt from smiling so hard driving after it's tuned :)
Nasty 2SS, I look forward to that pain lol. Hey thanks again, I just subscribed to your chanel. look forward to giving you an update with the dyno shortly.
I just got these headers and ill be installing them soon but i wont get it tuned right away. How long do you think i can get away with it not being tuned?
You’ll run a little rich with a CEL until you get it tuned. I had a friend go a few weeks without a tune. It shouldn’t hurt anything, I’d just be easy on it
Nope, and no engine light, but I sent it to get Dyno tuned after install. Picked up good horsepower and torque curve was solid. Even better with a cam now!
good question, actually yes. I think I have another video showing it. It's hit or miss with any headers. mine were rubbing ever so slightly on the steering shaft. I losened up my motor mounts and shidrd the motor maybe 1/16 of and used a pry bar to move the motor over a little, the re-tightened the mounts. that have me clearance. I recommend putting a tiny dimple in the header where it will meet the U-joint on the steering shaft. Some clear fine, other rub a little. Either way, dimpling the header won't hurt it. I didn't want to remove and re-install, so I shifted the motor over just a hair.
+Chris Barrera I'm running catless 1 7/8 TSP long tubes, with X pipe and 3" piping from headers all the way to the rear. No mufflers with 3.5" stainless steel tips.
honestly not too bad, at highways speeds in 6th gear with music low I barely hear it. I had more drone with my old 40 series flowmasters. The most drone I get is at 2k rpms.
did this exhaust system set up did it mess with your warranty on the engine ? i have a 2015 2ss camaro with Kooks headers and corsa catback exhaust system with Roto Fab cold air kit without a tune yet one of the service guys said it will void my warranty on the engine is that true ?
Joey ? The exhaust itself will not void your warranty. The tune does. I'll be honest man, I have never had any issues getting warranty work done. I was a GM tech for a couple of years, so that helped a little. Unless you completely destroy your engine (which is hard on an LS motor), they will cover you. Under the MAGNUSON-MOSS WARRANTY ACT, you can not be denied warranty work unless they can prove the tune, or any other aftermarket part caused the part failure..unless warranty clearly states that you cannot add aftermarket parts. You should be fine. My car is cammed and I'm getting a new clutch pedal assembly under warranty next week.
Joey ? No problem man. Just remember, modding is always risky business lol. If you go to a reputable tuner who knows what he is doing, you should never have any issues with anything tuning related. I had my tuned months after I purchased my car and said screw warranty lol. The only time they even check really is if it's something in the motor that severely breaks, then GM may require the dealership to send out computer numbers for them to check for a tune.
Bro what’s a good set of headers and exhaust for a 13 2ss I want something loud enough to get respect on the freeway but not so loud where my neighbors complain. Also don’t want it affecting the gas mileage
I have Texas Speed headers and love them. Speed engineering is also great for the price. I recommend the solo performance exhaust. Great sound and no drone!
I honestly never replaced the spark plug wires. I haven’t had any issues, but I plan on replacing with MSD or Taylor wires. These are the 1 7/8 longtubes
Nice man! And thanx for the quick reply my buddy almost talked me into getting the 2” tubes but the sound you get from these is more than good enough I’ll be getting wires and plugs as well I’ll let ya know how it turns out! May even make a video lol
The whole letting your car warm up thing doesn’t work with the newer cars, when you start it up you should get up and go to warm it up, the whole letting it warm up was when cars had carburetors which they don’t anymore
street 75 Your absolutely correct.. I was going to make the same exact comment but you beat me to it.. if oil is cold it is much thicker and will not lubricate properly.. there's handful of people that say that's just a myth but none of them people are real mechanics
Mine was tuned with no mufflers/cats/resonator. Not sure if that really makes a difference or not. Mine actually feels slower with my solo performance muffler on now
I was a little disapointed in the fitment to be honest. It was so close to clearing the steering shaft but didn't quite clear. I loosened the motor mounts, and shifted the engine over probably 1/16th of an engine and it cleared. If you go TSP, I recommend putting the header on first and only put in a couple of bolts to hold it in. Then turn the steering wheel to see how close the U-joint on the steering shaft gets to the header. If it's touching, or EXREMELY close, mark the contact point on the header where it touches, pull it off, and put a small dimple on the header for clearance, Or you can slide the motor over ever so slightly!
Thanks for watching everyone. I appreciate all of the feedback. Be sure to check out my latest videos!
Nasty 2SS did you have high flow cats when you recorded this?
No cats or mufflers in this video. Just an X pipe
She needs some chrome tips on her
It had a cam in this video or no and headers 1-7/8 or 1-3/4? Wonder if all headers sound the same
I like to race you
Monster, dc hat, loud car, Copenhagen....this is a Kyle in his truest form.
😂😂
I was gonna say Colton but ok😂
if my neighbors complained about my cars I'd leave my driveway everyday sideways
Max Smith he'll yeah fuck em
Hahahah. wtf!?
🤣 damnit
Re-visited this comment section and LMFAO
😂😂😂😂😂
“Neighbors already hate me” felt that😂😂💯
Just put long tubes with super ;) high flow cats on mine yesterday with outlaw race mufflers and resonator delete it's LOUD AS HELL long tubes made a huge difference in sound.
That exhaust sounds amazing!! Hard to beat an LS!
That's so kickass. I'd be looking for some tunnels and overpasses to bust thru. Lucky for me, my neighbors are cool with this stuff. Nice ride, sir. A+
The best place to go is parking garages. Rev it up and listen to all the car alarms go off.
On my 15 ss I have kooks long tunes, intake, corsa cat backs, tune. Sounds like a dream.
How much power did you make after the tune?
Michael Sugrim I made about 430 hp
A man of good taste, in both cars and music lol
That's one bad ass Camaro bro
0g tl72 Thanks man, I appreciate it!

yes, It's a huge difference!
“I’m just gonna take it easy”
*sounds LOUD AF
that sounds really good. i own a 2012 black ss. i did the muffler delete. i love the sound.
Nice ss fam. Cant wait til i get some mods on mine . In stock with dual mode exhaust and diablo sport tune. Im tuned in for updates
Oh nice! I started with the Diablo sport Intune. Awesome heldheld tuner. The longtubes sound amazing with the factory dual mode exhaust if you were to go that route. Sounds fantastic. Looks even better. Nice car.
A Ellringer Thank you!
This car looks and sounds great.
Robert Bidochon Thank you very much!
Sound NASTY!! Almost like a race car Brodie 👍
Damn that's loud, just picked up a set of TSP 1 3/4 catless longtubes for my vette, hopefully it's as loud as this
Austin Stevens Oh yeah. It'll sound mean!
12:41 Deftones very nice 👍🏼
11:42 that sound!!!
Henrys Muffler did an awesome job with my exhaust. I used your UA-cam as a reference bra 😂💯
Such a sweet sound
Beautiful car sounds awesome
Be safe out there
Robert Ortega Thanks!
Totally ear candy man love it!!!

just waiting on delivery of my 2017 ss1le must say that yours sounds fucking badass thinking about the same set up
frank patrona Nice man. Enjoy it. You will love it!
You dip and drive a Camaro . Yes you got a new subscriber!
haha, thanks brother!
Sounds damn good man!
Thank you!
I just got an 11 ls3 ss and I think I'm sold on the headers. Great sound and price, I have a gm performance exhaust already installed
Nice! How do the GM performance mufflers sound? We sell them at the dealership and I thought about buying them
+Jeremy Mumford it has that deep muscle car tone, a lot of people like it I just want a louder sound along with the deep throaty tone
May be something I should look into 👍
+Jeremy Mumford maybe, does removing the cats void warranty?
+taylor “gdod” hustle Yes, removing cats will void warranty. At least at my dealership. TSP gives you what "looks" like cats with the longtubes. You can also get a tune written to keep CEL off. If you're worried, go with the longtubes and high flow cats. They still sound anazing!
Nice video man, Im looking to buy a 2015 right now. Currently have a 2010 SS, but I would love to have it sound like that🙌🏽 Subscribed👍🏽
Nice. I love all of the 5th gen camaros. Let me know if you end up buying a 2015. thanks!
Johan Vazquez did you ever buy one?
Nasty 2SS getting one this week bro! 2015 2ss 48k mi for 25 (taxes included) my first v8 and also first coupe
have you ever had problems with exhaust leaks at the clamps? i have the same set up and i’m battling that problem now
@Nasty 2SS I read somewhere where you said Texas Speed LT's cats are hollow? That may be why my car sounds as loud as it is with the stock mufflers.
Love the car, sounds great
Jimmy870 Thanks man!
So no issues with the TSP headers? I'm thinking about these for my 14 sierra. Instead of dropping 1200$ on kooks or ARH, i could get TSP with a Catted Y-pipe for 800ish. Will Sartin No issues with the headers. I absolutely love them! I would def go with TSP!
I was guna go boost district cuz the lower price

the sound you say you like is called drone.... happened in non catted 4th gens... most people hate it lol. i got rid of my corsa exhaust cause of it
sounds good man.
Thanks man!
thanks. i ordered a set for my 2016 5.0.
Smh...
+Jacob Sansom b/c of getting mustang or TSP Headers?
Ordering my headers tomorrow no idea what mufflers are on the car lol is drone bad or is it fairly tame until you get on it?
Did you have any issues installing these? I wanna get the TSP long tube & offroad x-pipe package but I'm not too sure if they'll connect to the stock npp exhaust or if they'd have to be welded on.

thanks for this information really really appreciate your help with this plan too make a video will send
Sounds perfect man. How much did everything cost including tune?
Thanks! Hmm... I would say I spent roughly about $1,400.00. That was with installing the headers myself, not paying a shop labor. Oh yeah, it's gotta be! 👍
+Jeremy Mumford thank you sir. Keep up the good videos. Subscribed!
where do u even put the Monster at?
the cupholders are useless in the manual
Logan Armstrong right between u n the seat belt clip thin is where I put mine, works fine lol
Badass Camaro brotha. Liked and subbed
Thanks bro. I appreciate it!
sounds fn great
Thank you!
Is it straight piped? You said no cats but what about resonator or mufflers?
Did the long tube headers require a tune ?
ive seen two different sizes for headers , 1 7/8 and i think the other was 1 3/4 ... which one should i get? im looking for a nice deep, aggressive sound and some pop and backfire noise. i will also be looking to install an aftermarket camshaft, which would be the best for an old school deep chopping, i want a real loud muscle car feel with this SS
imSupahhRaw I would go 1 7/8. That's what I have with a TSP cam. Sounds amazing
Did getting rid of the cats throw a code? Also do you get a lot of cracks and pops?
yes, it did throw a code. When I dyno tuned mine, I had them tune it to where it wouldn't throw codes. No MIL on, and all readiness monitors are complete. It does crack and pop a bit when letting off the gas, but it's not horrible. However, it's pretty loud if your letting of the gas, then tap the gas peddle haha.
how was the install? was it rubbing on anything?
real gangster shit!!!!!!!
does your fuel economy goes down the shitter if you only install headers? I already have a tune on my 5.3 truck
BadAssEngineering most of the time, a properly designed exhaust will improve the engines scavenging properties, making it more efficient. You should get more power and mpg should improve a little. I don't know if you will respond to this, I hope you do. I'm about to run the same set up on my 2014 ss ls3 camaro, I have the npp exhaust on it and just got the tsp long tube headers with cat delete and 3 inch x pipe. Nasty 2SS, I look forward to that pain lol. Hey thanks again, I just subscribed to your chanel. look forward to giving you an update with the dyno shortly.
Mitchelly Garcia No problem man, thanks. I subbed you as well. Can't wait to see it!
LS power and Copenhagen? I'm in. From a 1st generation CTSV owner and fellow Copenhagen enjoyer.
lol, thanks man. Copenhagen is the best!
40 series flows are more for like old muscle cars, I'd say their outlaw mufflers sound good on newer muscle cars
The outlaw series sound good for sure
That’s what I have, sounds pure v8 muscle. Planning kooks long tubes in the spring
I got the outlaws with the tsp headers and their dummy cats. Sounds near identical to straight pipe but not as much rasp...sounds fucking awesome
From where did you get your long tube headers and did you get ur check engine
I just got these headers and ill be installing them soon but i wont get it tuned right away. How long do you think i can get away with it not being tuned?
You’ll run a little rich with a CEL until you get it tuned. I had a friend go a few weeks without a tune. It shouldn’t hurt anything, I’d just be easy on it
nice car man tryna get me one like that💪🏾
Thanks!
Did this kill your take off with having no back pressure? And does this make the engine light come on?
Nope, and no engine light, but I sent it to get Dyno tuned after install. Picked up good horsepower and torque curve was solid. Even better with a cam now!
Did you have to weld anything
Did you had any problems in fitting the Tsp headers ? Easy process ? I have the same camaro thinking about doing the same

+Zuki Dookie nice , I will go with tsp just watch your other video, what exhaust you running ?
+Chris Barrera I'm running catless 1 7/8 TSP long tubes, with X pipe and 3" piping from headers all the way to the rear. No mufflers with 3.5" stainless steel tips.
+Chris Barrera also.. if you don't want it that loud, the borla atak sounds sick. Still very loud, but not as obnoxious as no mufflers
+Zuki Dookie yeah I want something that will sound loud I like the aggressive sound
o i watched it all. just order my headers. cant wait for that sound. how is the drone tho?
honestly not too bad, at highways speeds in 6th gear with music low I barely hear it. I had more drone with my old 40 series flowmasters. The most drone I get is at 2k rpms.
I have drone now and have high flow cats only with 3” x pipe
Is it real loud in person because I’m looking for a loud exhaust setup
Back then, it was pretty loud. It’s even louder now with the cam. If you do longtubes, X pipe, and no mufflers, it will be very loud!
Is this the 1-7/8” or the 2.00”? And what kind of power did you get from this headers
These are the 1 7/8 Headers. It’s been a while but I think the headers and cold air intake I based lined at 409rwhp. 436rwhp after tune
Nasty 2SS thanks brother, about to put this headers on my 2014 1le, thanks for your feedback man. Keep up the good work
How’s ur headers holding up bro...how many miles...are they 1and 7/8 primary tubes?
Holding up great. I’ve put probably 20k miles on them. No issues whatsoever. 1 7/8
did this exhaust system set up did it mess with your warranty on the engine ? i have a 2015 2ss camaro with Kooks headers and corsa catback exhaust system with Roto Fab cold air kit without a tune yet one of the service guys said it will void my warranty on the engine is that true ?

Is your check engine light on
my dream car! but in my country is very hard to get :(
Sick as fk dude
I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but do you mean by no mufflers as straight piped or no mufflers as in Stock axelbacks?
xSiiCkNeZ Its not a dumb question. No mufflers as in straight piped. Mufflers probably going on it soon lol.
Jeremy Mumford Haha thanks man!
xSiiCkNeZ Not a problem. Thanks for watching! :D
is it 3inch pipes? mines the same on my 17 ss but has dual tips and 3inch pipes with flowmaster xpipe
Did you get a custom x pipe or one that came wit the headers?
Custom. Had a local muffler shop make it
Nasty 2SS yeah I might have to do that lol it sounds good bro
Any difficulty with inspection being catless?
will these headers fit with my stock 2.5 inch system with no resonator?
Bro what’s a good set of headers and exhaust for a 13 2ss I want something loud enough to get respect on the freeway but not so loud where my neighbors complain. Also don’t want it affecting the gas mileage
I have Texas Speed headers and love them. Speed engineering is also great for the price. I recommend the solo performance exhaust. Great sound and no drone!
Nasty 2SS and it wouldn’t affect the car being my daily driver correct??
You won’t have any drive ability issues with headers. Just make sure you get a good tuner
Get SLP loud mouth 1's if you want loud with a good tone.
Did u have it tuned during the video?
Cool thanks
How much horse power did you add after the headers
What cam did you put in
Was it tuned in this video?
Which spark plug wires did you go with? I am looking into getting these same headers my 2k15 SS. Btw she sounds great in this vid without the Cam!
Also did you get the 2” tubes?
I honestly never replaced the spark plug wires. I haven’t had any issues, but I plan on replacing with MSD or Taylor wires. These are the 1 7/8 longtubes
Nice man! And thanx for the quick reply my buddy almost talked me into getting the 2” tubes but the sound you get from these is more than good enough I’ll be getting wires and plugs as well I’ll let ya know how it turns out! May even make a video lol
Do you have any mufflers or is that headers and straight pipe
Right now headers and straight pipes
The whole letting your car warm up thing doesn’t work with the newer cars, when you start it up you should get up and go to warm it up, the whole letting it warm up was when cars had carburetors which they don’t anymore
JRP Cars i have to warm my up, it will die on me
street 75
Your absolutely correct.. I was going to make the same exact comment but you beat me to it.. if oil is cold it is much thicker and will not lubricate properly.. there's handful of people that say that's just a myth but none of them people are real mechanics
Not sure if your comment is to trigger people or if you are really that stupid
Ok Thanks
Will it pass the smog ?
I want my camero to sound like this what set up do you have?
You should be allowed to own a Camaro if you can't spell it.
Tommy Thompson you shouldn't be allowed to comment if you can't spell check your self
Edgar Villa 😂😂 got em
i want the same setup cam and all but i know my neighbors going to kick me out lol
How did you get your car to pass Inspection.
Tuning will keep the MIL from coming on due to the changes in o2 sensor temperature.
Did you lose power with takimg the mufflers off?
I did not lose any power
@@Nasty2SS thanks man! I got the same year ect, i hahe just seen yes and nos from everyone
Mine was tuned with no mufflers/cats/resonator. Not sure if that really makes a difference or not. Mine actually feels slower with my solo performance muffler on now
@@Nasty2SS shit man, was there a certain tune you used?
Dyno tune from shop here
what size headers? 1 3/4? and catless x pipe?
Aaron Adkins 1 7/8 and catless X pipe
Does it smell since it's catless?
A little, but I’m use to it. It’s not too bad
hows the fit/quality of the tsp headers?
Jeremy. Thanks!
Man I got the same shit with my neighbors
