What people spend their money on is all relative. Years ago we went to a very fancy French restaurant near Napa which had a very pricey per person menu. My friend at work was flabbergasted that I would spend that much money on a meal! He was a big Rolling Stones fan so I asked him if he would spend that much on front row seats at a Stones concert. He said he would. So there you go. And you are buying your investment pieces that you will have for a long time. Mine went down the toilet the next day but I still have the memories of the most fabulous meal of my life❣

Such a fun video! Pro tip for thin-soled nice shoes: Take them to a cobbler to add another layer to the sole in the high-wear spots to extend longevity. With occasional trips to the cobbler I’ve had similar shoes last for years of near-daily wear and still be sellable on The RealReal when I’m done with them.
Also that sweater is killing it!! Wonderful.

I used to wear headbands like those in high-school (obviously they were nowhere near as ornate) and the Christmas plaid one is triggering a memory of plaid pjs I wore every single Christmas...I'm going to hunt for this now.

I love the headbands, but as someone with chronic headaches anything squeezing my poor head is a no go 😂. The see by Chloe bag is gorgeous. I will admit I scoured second hand bag stores looking for it in that Colour way, it appears no one got rid of them, 😆.

Ovarian cyst "sister" as well ~~ mine no biggy, found during routine pelvic and a resulting "inconclusive" pap, after ultra sound, did get it surgically removed ~~ my sister's, not so much ~~ she almost bled to death in the ER while the docs tried to figure out what was happening.
So glad you got answers "quickly" and all resolved on it's own. A gentle & serious reminder to us all to pay attention and seek attention when "things" are not quite right with our bodies ~~ a reminder to us all to be our own relentless squeaky wheels.

Duuuuuuuude no you gotta play Pokémon Sword or Shield. I enjoyed Animal Crossing during the beginning of the pandemic but Pokémon really helped me escape and stay emotionally regulated during one of the most difficult times in my life. Such a nostalgic yet upgraded piece of escapism.

Oh oh oh ok I'm gonna suggest a game that is wildly opposite to Animal Crossing but I think Art Kackie and Anti-capitalist Kackie will really enjoy: Disco Elysium.
First of all I just wanna say I am not a video game person as a general rule but right off the bat this thing is beautiful, like if Francis Bacon and Lucien Freud made a video game? And is probably one of the most profoundly moving pieces of media I've consumed, ever.
You're basically a very down on your luck cop trying to solve a murder in a post-soviet-ish city. All you have to do is walk around and talk to people, it's very relaxing- although fair warning the actual text can be pretty dark but also strangely funny and joyful. You direct your character through a lot of self examination and political discussion- it was made by two Finnish dudes who thanked Marx and Engels at an awards ceremony lol so you can imagine the kind of thing I mean.
I'm in danger of going on a totally unhinged rant about how great it is so I'll stop here, but I would highly recommend you check out a review on UA-cam so you can see what I'm babbling on about.
Omg Pokémon is SOOOO fun! You can keep a cute one on your team that you really like and choose to not evolve it :) so many ways to play the game !!! Highly recommend ALL of them :D

Sadly that is not just an Italian girl problem, I’m a Western European mutt and after turning 45 am growing hair on my upper lip many shades darker than my hair all of a sudden. Melasma sucks as well, I finally learned to be more generous with the sunscreen and get laser treatments when needed 🤷♀.

Does anyone find that epilating your underarms changes the look of the skin there? I fought through the intense pain for the bliss of weeks of not dealing with underarm hair, but after a couple of months the skin started to look weird. Not ingrown hairs, just a bumpy loose-looking texture. I described it as 'turkey skin', but my partner said it looked like testicles. He was not incorrect 😂. I decided it wasn't worth the pain after that and resumed shaving, and it went back to normal. Just me?
