The story is a tragedy, brought about by neglect and poor thinking
Here's my theory; Kou was not really trying to suffocate the child, and had tried to just keep the child safe. Kou did not bring the kid to the security guard either because Kou moving with a child in them would injure the kid, or because Kou knew that the security guard would shock them due to the fact that Kou might not usually move around much.
Imagine if Cou the cow was the one shutting doors to protect the kid from the others and the kid was just peeking out when he needed air. That would make more sense sinse with the more hours the more danger, until a point where Cou wouldn't let the kid breathe because there wasn't any time.

there is a fnaf fan game where you play as the animatronics trying to reach the security office, i can't remember the name though, sorry. just remembered it's called "Five Night's at Freddy's Simulator"
Looking at the newspaper clipping at 10:05 , i notice that some of the blurred text reads “the child had previous to climbing inside the robot, accidentally set another robot afire, leaving it a melted mess.” This is definitely Bondee, and would mean that he had reason for coming after Kou during the night.

A couple hours pass so that behavior persists every time you check on it. Then... Out of the blue, you see it open its jaws wide and a little hand starts to creep out (Alternatively, it starts causing electrical interference with the doors\lights while viewing it). Naturally seeing that creepy fucking thing opening up and something potentially crawling out of it, you use the 'taser' provided by the company to pacify the threat... @@RealCoffeeSpew similar concept but not the exact same. In FNAF simulator you play as the animatronics themselves and your objective is to kill the night guard, in this one you are a child who is trapped inside an animatronic suit, trying to survive
As soon as I saw the trailer for this game during the Fangame Direct presentation, I immediately became drawn to it because of how intriguing it was towards me.
in the original FNAF, the animatronics enter a "free-roaming mode" when a specific time at night strikes so that they don't malfunction. so consider this: when a specific time in the morning comes, free roaming mode or likely some variation of it stops, and the animatronics completely lose autonomy and reset to a stationary mode, leading to the animatronic the kid is in involuntarily shutting it's mouth for good, leaving the kid with no way out and suffocating to death.
This is the most positive theory you could use to explain the child’s suffocation. In the end, the frame keeping the child alive is what seals their coffin
I could see a possible sequel where you play as the animatronic, now possessed, with the goal being to locate and get to the security guard to kill them for their negligence leading to the child’s death. It wouldn’t be necessarily deserved as when the missing children killed Afton, but it would certainly tie into the roles being switched. With the goal of the sequel being to kill the same security guard that left you to die.
It's not easy to bring new concepts to the table with FNAF fangames but this one seems to do it well. I really like the art style too. Kinda disappointed by the ending though, I know if I went through the whole game and was able to survive all 5 hours just for the kid to die anyway, I'd be a bit pissed lol. I wonder if you beat the night mode the kid can live.
yeah I thought that since the kid could just open the mask that they'd be okay, and then climb out in the morning where I'd guess that either the police would be there to investigate or people who are just going there find the kid. I thought it was weird that the kid just died when they didn't have a reason to..also the kid could've yelled for the security guard too!
This is honestly so much more interesting to me than the main series' story, because it lets you KNOW that this tragedy could have been avoided, but it wasn't, and somebody who wasn't in the know was blamed for it -- who is the mastermind? How far up does this go? Could it be that the purpose of the animatronic's chamber wasn't made known to the right people, making this a case of neglect that the company is using a scapegoat for? Somehow, all of these questions are much more compelling than _soul-harvesting._
One thing that I like very much about this game is the story behind it. For starters, WHY are the animatronics trying to kill the kid in the first place? Sure, it was shown that Bondee was somehow lit on fire by the birthday kid, but we don't know why that had to have happened. And the ending where the kid still ends up dying at the end, making all of our attempts feel futile at the end. With that being said, this is still a good game nonetheless.
It's hinted at in the beginning cutscene that the animatronics can notice anyone in the building..so they likely believe we're an intruder and are trying to take care of us (bad programming considering they kill intruders)
Honestly I think a the comment above is right and be the child probably had a panic attack at the very end and see before anybody says it I’m betting that the night guard was trying to find the child to terminate the child.
It's interesting how the ending shows a photo of Bondee in the newspaper... Is that implying the kid died inside of Bondee, and not the cow? Something to think about
One thing with the character’s names is that they are very similar to swedish words: Bondee: Bonde, means farmer Grise: Gris, means pig Fourly: Får, (å is pronounced exactly like the ”ou” in four in this context) means sheep Kou: Ko, means cow Just thought that was interesting.
9:02 The face on our character implys the fact that all of this happened the exact day the kid went missing. We burned a animatronic and got traumatized
the child probably wanted to hide from the "monster" or thought bondee would get revenge by killing him or smth (that prob why they hid in the first place)
I think the main story goes like this: The kid gets lost in the restaurant The animatronics automatically go into “Free roaming mode” at night (Suggesting that these animatronics would have to do so like the fnaf characters in order to not have their set is locked up) The cow, the only good animatronic, finds the kid first and helps him. Knowing that the other animatronics might attack the child, it allows the child to go inside of him, giving him completely autonomy of it’s body, along with the door controls, and displays an oxygen meter to ensure that the kid wouldn’t die to the lack of oxygen Other animatronics start to catch wind of where the child is and attempts to go into the Cow Animatronic’s room to try and kill the kid At 6AM, unfortunately free roaming mode turns off and they all power down, including the cow, which locks it down and, since the kid can no longer open it’s mouth freely to breath, dies after.
Something about hearing the screams of the animatronic burning without the actual footage to see what it looks like is very unnerving. It leaves you imagining things far worse than the real thing could ever be, especially with how you can hear the panic in its voice.
By the end of the game, I realized that the child who went missing ends up dying no matter what (gameplay or ending). The child dies if your caught on camera and the security guard shocks you, or the child dies from asphyxiation because you were good to hide from the guard.
I love when fan games show off their poster and decal art for the story. I loved Bondee’s Barnyard from an art style perspective and all of the characters I found very charming, which I think goes to show the whole game’s amazing design
Honestly, I love the way it tells the story with the interactive kids show sequences the most. It's definitely different from the use of an arcade game (which is also a genius way of telling a story in some of the FNAF games). The one where Bondee ends up getting caught by fire threw me off since it strained from the previous innocent ones. His screams...my gosh those screams were what got me the most. If that happened to me, I'd be terrified of lights as well. The ending is pretty sad though, but to be fair when Purple Guy was in the animatronic suit he didn't make it at all.
Without additional lore, this is a plot hole. Stuff specialized into finding/protecting missing people would logically be prioritized; like checking Kou if it was protecting a child
I know that Bondee burning is meant to be dark but I can’t help to laugh when I think that someone had to sit there and record the Audio of them just screaming 😂. Like imagine being that guys’ neighbors.
Soooo, this is kinda a double perspective game, because you seem to be playing as the animatronic, although via from the eye view of the kid whos in there, since you can see the teeth if the animatronic, so I'm guessing the animatronic was just tricking you in the end.
Or maybe the child had a panic attack at the very end worrying he may never get out. Possibly that alerted the security guard thinking the cow animatronic was spazzing out shocking it
I saw a theory stating that the animatronics exit free roaming mode after 6 am, so Kou was stuck completely in place and couldn't open his mouth to let the kid breathe
As a swedish, I get nostalgia from hearing these names sounding like some words that I grew up with Ko: Cow Gris: Pig Får: Sheep Kyckling: chicklet Bonde: farmer It brought me the same feel as when I first heard the name Afton (formal word for evening), and believed that William Afton was swedish, but now, it is actually intended
I never found a point in using the cameras if you could just see your door and I've finally found a fnaf game that completely removes it.. I absolutely adore this

Aw man. I was thinking that this fangame had you roaming as an animatronic. You know what would be a cool game, something like a shadow over Freddy’s but your an animatronic hunting the night guard
Does the game really not have a true ending where the kid survives? You play the entire game trying to survive and they die anyway off screen? It'd be cool if you keep the health meter above a certain threshold each hour in the "all hours in one go" mode the kid survives but oh well.
1:28 I’m sorry but I just imagine a mother going to the staff and asking if they have seen their son and imagine the staff just says “have you checked the cow?” I SHOULDN’T BE LAUGHING
8:04 The sound that Bondee makes sounds like those videos of kids screaming when they fall off of a Roblox obby, and now this cutscene is hilarious to me.
The fact that you get instantly shocked to death if you move when the camera is on you makes me think that this has happened before. If a childrens robot started moving at night I'd be really confused to, but the fact that there's a specific protocol for it? Suspicious... But thats just a theory.. a Random UA-cam Comment Theory!
Plot Twist: The owner is that universe's purple guy. He knew that the cow could keep a child within itself. He then made it part of the protocol to shock the cow to death (and subsequently the child) if it moved. Knowing fully well that he could use the guard as a scapegoat.
You aren't always a security guard. In fnaf 4 you are a child waiting for the party, in pizzeria sim you are a pizzeria manager, and in SB you are a child locked inside the megaplex trying to escape. And also fnaf world but thats a whole other thing
The only thing I don’t understand is that once you end the game you just die the sans way as if you lost having a game and in an unsatisfactory death no matter what never made sense to me
Can you do a analysis about the game "Sinister Turmoil"? It was a game that also had the idea of you controlling the animatronic but apparently it got cancelled and to this day I don't know why
Used to work with the Angus team on that back then. The original team was advertising a proof of concept more than a game, not really a scam but they didn't have the means to actually make what they were teasing. Once Angus took the project it became a more single player focused game and the sewer demo was made. There was still fairly poor planning, however and the game wasn't finished. Angus is making films/shows now. I still wish the original idea would be looked into again. Especially after Project Playtime proved that it could work.
The guard when the animatronic the player is hiding inside twitches slightly: 😡 The guard when literally everyone else travels halfway across the building:😴
When I first came acrodd the trailer for this fan-game, I was really excited and hooked by it's originality ! This fan-game is very complete, interesting and one of the most unique in it's story AND gameplay !
I find it kind of weird that the animatronics come after you and not the nightguard. With this being a FNAF fangame and all i'd be expecting them to go after the nightguard. I wonder why
I wonder why the night guard wasn’t wondering that either. Why won’t they like” why are they going for one of their own. Why do they keep on trying to get into that room? And why are the doors closed even though I haven’t closed them?“
I think there trying to save us. The animatronics can sense there’s a child in the other animatronic and want to get us out of there, to bad they aren’t that good of it. The security guard probably knew that someone was in the building too and was looking through the cameras for them. The only bad guy in this game is the animatronic you’re stuck in, at least that’s my theory
Because the child in Kou was the chick in the cutscene who set Bondee on fire, so he must have a personal vendetta against our character specifically because of that.
It's interesting cause despite not being the security guard your basically doing his job and further shows how incompetent he really was It feels somewhat real as kids die due to stupid adults sometimes You did all that you could but still couldn't survive the night
This is really fun to play, the normal nights get a big tough at the end but nothing too difficult (the difficulty is very nice in the custom night tho). The really simple gameplay loop is so much more satisfying than having too many different mechanics that are implemented badly or just unfun.
This game looks incredible it has nice stylized graphics as well as interesting gameplay, I feel like most FNAF fan-games rely on being an "FNAF fan-game" to be known but although this one is obviously a fan-game, it stands out as its own thing pretty well
Completely random but I laughed way harder than I should’ve when the mom said “For your gift I’ll let you go to Bondee’s Barnyard” and an ad played saying “The gift you need this Christmas is Sonic Frontiers!”
Fun fact all robots have names similar to swedish words: Bondee, bonde which means farmer. Grise, Gris which means pig. Fourly, får sheep. Chickling, kyckling chicken. Geet, get goat
Now here's my issue: Why is the NightGuard able to shock Kou at all? I know the whole "controlled shock" thing is a cool feature but that would have to imply Kou gives the Nightguard problems If he doesn't shock him. Like if we were in the guards position then we'd obviously expect to get jumpscared if we didn't shock him. However during the whole game, Kou doesn't start moving on its own or anything like that. Otherwise, it would probably be possible to get a game over from Kou moving around and the night guard seeing it. but there's no reason to shock him seriously My theory is that Kou isnt one of those active animatronics thatll go for the nightguard but maybe he drains power or some other passive thing. But this theory doesnt work because then the child would get shocked regardless. However, to add to this theory I'll mention the fact that only Kou knows the child is inside of him (presumably) so maybe that's why he isn't acting up, because he's in protection mode? So my new question is what kind of problems WOULD Kou cause normally (no kids inside of him) that the managers felt the need to make it possible for the NG to shock him?
Someone else here mentioned that the controlled shock might be a counter measure to kou's coding. If kou is programed to help children(hence how he interacts with the child he's hiding), and somehow gets stuck in protect mode, he might become a viable threat to the security guard. Kou not moving throughout the game might be to him assuming that the room he's in is the safest: no doors or windows located behind him so you can't seek up on him that way.
The very first cutscene is the creepiest one of them all because as the mother duck is don't talking, and as it's fading into the next scene, you can actually see the terrifying animatronic version of the mother duck.
Ayy thanks for reviewing my friend's fangame. I really think Bondee's is such a unique fangame, the graphics are nice, the story is simple, and I like the characters. The camera is my favorite mechanic
My question is how did the kid end up separated and lost in the first place. I would understand if it was a random kid at a birthday party, but its the actual birthday kid. And somehow on this kids birthday, they got lost. When it's ur birthday your the center of attention and someone would immediately notice if you went missing. So for this kid to be missing makes no sense to me since the parents would start to question and the staff knows that this specific animatronic can keep children safe in case of danger.
You may be in the animatronic but it doesn't mean you're playing as it, your still in one spot checking doors, its literally just the night gaurd with extra steps
2:43 assuming the percentage is the amount of air you have (considering it goes up when you open the animatronic mouth) closing the doors making it drain faster does make sense. your cutting a major source of air
The game's beauty is that we get to play from a Third person perspective rather than the typical boring shift of a night guard. This game is not only creative on its own but in my opinion it opens up to many potentials. Later fnaf fan games should take inspiration from this game. Nicely done devs! 👍
I just figured out why the animatronics "kill" us they are trying to rescue us and we get scared by them suddenly coming out of nowhere trying to help and because we get scared the cow animatronic detects it and shuts itself suffocating the child
This is one of the coolest fangames I've played. Also, you only found Chickling at Night 3? He darted off to get me at Night 2 during the final stretch of it! It really scared me, and because I didn't know I was gonna deal with him, or even how, I panicked and shut both doors, causing the kid to be in really bad shape. I managed to pull through, but still, it was a fantastic way to get me straight outta the comfort zone!

Cough Fnaf simulator cough
@@RealCoffeeSpew guess i slept on that one then lol
They have, they just didn't have the money or time to make a game about it
@@RealCoffeeSpew similar concept but not the exact same. In FNAF simulator you play as the animatronics themselves and your objective is to kill the night guard, in this one you are a child who is trapped inside an animatronic suit, trying to survive
Now I understand why Bondee’s is considered a “Grizzly’s fangame”
It takes guts to make a Grizzly’s fangame.

Griddy’s fangame
That's actually a good theory
This is the most positive theory you could use to explain the child’s suffocation. In the end, the frame keeping the child alive is what seals their coffin
I agree with this. Kou doesn't seem like a villain, they just shut off at 6 as they were programmed to do.
oh shit that actually makes so much sense
I could see a possible sequel where you play as the animatronic, now possessed, with the goal being to locate and get to the security guard to kill them for their negligence leading to the child’s death. It wouldn’t be necessarily deserved as when the missing children killed Afton, but it would certainly tie into the roles being switched. With the goal of the sequel being to kill the same security guard that left you to die.
Wild how even after the actual FNaF games have ran their course, fangames are still coming up with new ideas to keep the genre fresh
In FNaF we R animatronic.

5:09 guys. Do you see it?

The face on our character implys the fact that all of this happened the exact day the kid went missing. We burned a animatronic and got traumatized
the child probably wanted to hide from the "monster" or thought bondee would get revenge by killing him or smth (that prob why they hid in the first place)
What makes it even worse is that it was a total accident, too. Very sad how his birthday is also the day he died.
found an old comment
I think the main story goes like this:
The kid gets lost in the restaurant
The animatronics automatically go into “Free roaming mode” at night (Suggesting that these animatronics would have to do so like the fnaf characters in order to not have their set is locked up)
The cow, the only good animatronic, finds the kid first and helps him. Knowing that the other animatronics might attack the child, it allows the child to go inside of him, giving him completely autonomy of it’s body, along with the door controls, and displays an oxygen meter to ensure that the kid wouldn’t die to the lack of oxygen
Other animatronics start to catch wind of where the child is and attempts to go into the Cow Animatronic’s room to try and kill the kid
At 6AM, unfortunately free roaming mode turns off and they all power down, including the cow, which locks it down and, since the kid can no longer open it’s mouth freely to breath, dies after.
Oh no, It looks like a child is trapped in an animatronic.

The design is incredible. It's removed from the original enough to be distinct and yet close enough to be instantly recognisable.
I'm with you on that one cutscene catching you off guard because that transition from cartoonist surprise to fear mongering screaming was horrifying
I love how instead of zapping the robots that are running through the building he only zaps the one robot that has the kid in it
The fact that you get instantly shocked to death if you move when the camera is on you makes me think that this has happened before. If a childrens robot started moving at night I'd be really confused to, but the fact that there's a specific protocol for it? Suspicious... But thats just a theory.. a Random UA-cam Comment Theory!
Plot Twist:
The owner is that universe's purple guy.
It was a game that also had the idea of you controlling the animatronic but apparently it got cancelled and to this day I don't know why
iirc it was all a scam, not sure tho
Used to work with the Angus team on that back then. The original team was advertising a proof of concept more than a game, not really a scam but they didn't have the means to actually make what they were teasing. Once Angus took the project it became a more single player focused game and the sewer demo was made. There was still fairly poor planning, however and the game wasn't finished. Angus is making films/shows now. I still wish the original idea would be looked into again. Especially after Project Playtime proved that it could work.

And why are the doors closed even though I haven’t closed them?“
The guard may be registered in their database as not an intruder, meanwhile we the child aren't so they're targeting us?
I think there trying to save us. The animatronics can sense there’s a child in the other animatronic and want to get us out of there, to bad they aren’t that good of it. The security guard probably knew that someone was in the building too and was looking through the cameras for them.
The only bad guy in this game is the animatronic you’re stuck in, at least that’s my theory
Well maybe someone was intelligent and the guard is in the building next door in a locked room and they can't get to him?
Because the child in Kou was the chick in the cutscene who set Bondee on fire, so he must have a personal vendetta against our character specifically because of that.
Is nobody gonna talk about how Bondee just gets f&$kin Afton'd?

Now here's my issue:
Why is the NightGuard able to shock Kou at all?
I know the whole "controlled shock" thing is a cool feature but that would have to imply Kou gives the Nightguard problems If he doesn't shock him.
Like if we were in the guards position then we'd obviously expect to get jumpscared if we didn't shock him.
However during the whole game, Kou doesn't start moving on its own or anything like that. Otherwise, it would probably be possible to get a game over from Kou moving around and the night guard seeing it. but there's no reason to shock him seriously
My theory is that Kou isnt one of those active animatronics thatll go for the nightguard but maybe he drains power or some other passive thing.
