you have no idea how informative this has been. Choosing the risers never mind the bars. very helpful thank you. I have a 1994 repairs spares bike for under £500 including £125 delivery. Am tinkering around with it but must say it's still freezing outside in garage. thanks again. xJes
Cheers Euan, aye its mad isn't it... I spoke to 3 manufacturers and Wemoto a couple I think and none made them with a 14mm head...but yet the risers come with 14mm bolts, so they're getting them from somewhere!...maybe they're only made in China 🤷♂️... Anyhow, thanks for taking the time to watch mate 👍

Top video there mate. And great content. Your new set up looks the business. Really like the white clocks and the gloss black. If often thought about heated grips, but its that control box that always puts me off. Nice use of the old mounting hole though. 👍
Wow, thanks for the compliment Rich mate 😁.. I'm just learning and I'm not sure about the great content lol, but I suppose we all have to go through that learning curve.. As long as I keep learning and getting better with editing etc, I'll be happy!..I'm pretty chuffed with the look, just hope it solves the issue of sliding down the seat and crushing my nuts on the tank.. Hi Mark, Great video mate. I came across your vid whilst looking for ways to do the exact same thing. I really appreciate you taking the time to put out such useful information. What was your main reason for doing the alteration? Was it to have a more upright and comfortable riding position? Can I please ask for the handlebar width and rise dimension, the link you gave for the ones you used doesn't seem to work anymore. I want the exact same type to be sure I don't need to extend the brake hose and cables etc. Cheers
Hi Paul, cheers for the kind words and pleased if it’s of any help to you!..as you say, I’ve just checked eBay but they’re no longer available. I’ve checked the original listing and here’s the details if you can hopefully find an alternative… Diameter: 7/8’’ - 22mm, Width: 69cm, Center Width: 15cm, Rise: 5cm…hopefully you might find something and yes, I just wanted a more upright comfortable riding position.
