  • Queen - Live in Hammersmith, London, England - December 26, 1979 | 1080p60
Low-quality source is from Pittrek's 2010 compilation, with the 1st high-quality source coming from the 1995 'Champions of the World' documentary, and the 2nd (and 60fps) high-quality source coming from the extras of the 2011 'Days of Our Lives' documentary. The audio is a mix of the rather sterile CCTV mix, as well as Pittrek's 2015 excellent audio matrix. I decided to use both as the vocals could sometimes be drowned out in Pittrek's otherwise excellent matrix. Enjoy!

Geez Freddie, leave some talents for the rest of us. jk. He was great at everything, graphic design, fashion design, singing, playing the piano, writing lyrics, and being an amazing front man! He was also a very passionate, generous man and though he had many flaws like the rest of us he's my pick for the closest "perfect" human this world has seen.

Jusy we didbt knoe the world didnt know till he was about to die and thrn came out to the world he was indeed hiv positive but also fighting aids. But it still breaks my heart he had to be the one we had to lose afrer being suck an amazing musisisj touching millions and millions of hearts that todays boy bands dont come close to. He was one of a kind. And i dnt think we will get another freddie mercury maybe similar but not him cause thwres only one of us. He is truly missed

@KingIsOkay yea but now with the drugs available..it can keep a person at HIV status and help prevent full blown AIDS.. magic was lucky...sadly by the time Freddie was diagnosed...he already had full blown AIDS and sadly back then there was virtually no treatment nor cure for HIV/AIDS.... I often how many deceased rock stars would sounds like or being doing now... Freddie, Jim Morrison,Layne Staley, Jimi,Janis, Kurt,2pac, John Lennon.. etc...we could really use them now with the direction that music has recently taken.

Just like Jim Morrison of the Doors, Freddie was Queen. The song writing, the natural vocal talent, and the stage presence solidified the band into being one of the greatest bands that will ever be. Period.

Какая интересная аранжировка, немного уху непривычная... И через столько лет - абсолютное восхищение и наша любовь ❤️

Freddie Mercury had a crystal voice , so crystal that he never did the high notes in concerts because he could have broken it.

I love it how the rest of the band is wearing relatively respectable clothing while Freddie doesn't even have a shirt. Everything about this is fabulous.
