just got this thing and rly like it. rgb and the metal board give it such a good look. gonna swap out some of the blue switches for reds, and some of the black keys as well. an affordable keyboard that has some modding options. recommend.
I feel the most important part of this keyboard is some model allow you to switch the switches! I feel this is a great pick for a budget board for future proofing. Getting new set of keycaps, and switches could make this board very capable

@@haitham4313 I bought it and I have blue switches, personally theyre not annoying, I’ve had blue switches on other keyboards for awhile so I’m used to them, it all comes down to personal preference though, if you want a loud keyboard then blue switches are good.
6:26 I see you're underestimating haata's force curves showing that outemu switches don't offer the "same switch performance as mx switches". Those graphs are top notch for switch comparisons. I'd also recommend a wide angle lens for more epic thumbnails and less mirroring.

i'm not sure why but my k552 kumara is different. the RGB is different i just have 6 different colors for every row of keys, also no function icons on my DEL and PGDN key, i don't have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 on the INS,HOME,PGUP, ect keys. the ISN key has an [M] function, the HOME key has [LR] and [PGUP] has [R]. and i only have 9 different rgb modes to cycle thru and i can't do the ones you're doing in this video. what the hell?

Sorry difference of opinion. Our company bought bunch of keyboards at the start of 2017. All the Razer keyboard are dead (Not fully but few key stopped working or need to press hard. Yes I personally used Razer). While we have Logitech and not sure what is the other brand. All other keyboard are still working completely fine. Only we saw problem with razer.

i've had 2 red dragons mk and both of the wasd switches went out within 2 weeks of use. From what i've read, the k552 are hot swappable (older models aren't). So I'd recommend this keyboard, if any switches goes out you can just buy outomu or watever switches and replace it real simple and easy.

Both are really good. I like the techware phantom L with outemu blue. I think they are the same price. However, I feel the K552 feels much sturdy compared to the tecware. The tecware case feels a bit cheap, but the switches are really good. I like both of them, K552 for the RGB and tecware phantom L for the outemu blue low profile. Downside on the K552, the cord isn’t removable.
i got this keyboard and it feels awesome the rgb software doesn’t work tho but still i found a color and used my razer rgb software to match my mouse to my k552

I am very tempted to get this keyboard but several Amazon reviews have reported unresponsive keys that don't register properly after just a few days or months of use. It does not depends on lighting, the Kumara is hot-swappable, the only catch is, that Redragon uses Outemu switches, you can buy them from AliExpress, or at Gazzew if you live in the states.
I'm from India and mechanical keyboards here are very costly ...there's a brand named cosmic byte and they have a tenkeyless per key rgb keyboard with outemu blue switches ...in India it costs around RS2000 which converts to approx 26 USD ... Please check it out ;)
hey just got the red dragon kumara and i own th 585 one handed and i plugged my kumara in it said it had and update for the 585 one handed and it made my kumara only use rgb on the keys the 585 has is there i way i can undo this ive tried to delete the files but it looks like it downloaded to the kumara itself because i tried it on a different computer and did the same thing Please help
Depends on your mic sensitivity if it doesnt really pick up background noise then it wont be a problem :) but i have a bad mic but it the noise doesnt affect to much
I ordered the red switch on the 13 it will be here this week. Edit. So it has been over a month and it's really nice and hadn't had a problem with it and my family loves it because I use to have blue switch's and they where super loud and the reds are so quiet.

For the K552 Kumara while changing the rgb patterns you only pressed each key ones but on each function key there are 3 or 4 patterns you missed out on so many great rgb patterns but good review
Thank you for all the info on your channel! Always wanted to pick up a K552. So after watching some of your reviews, went with RGB wired, added red switches and removed that redragon logo (which I never liked) and replaced with an OLED screen. Also went with the pudding keycaps. Someone on thingiverse made a plate you can 3D print btw, I went with the OLED logo plate and made it mine with my own logo :D
I wanted to and could afford the FPS pro but I just broke my keyboard and the FPS pro takes 2weeks to deliver at the shortest and this will take 1day, I'm also going to get the some hyper X double pbt key caps to go with it, would this be worth it at £56 for the keyboard and £25 for the key caps, please give quick replies cause I don't have a spare keyboard :/
I like the sound of the blues, but don't like the tactile bump. I prefer a smooth linear switch. If I ever got one of these I'd replace the blue switches with red ones lol

Yeah you can’t really expect much from a keyboard that cheap. But this keyboard is really good for the price in my opinion.

Mine is hot swappable. I think some of the Redragon's are hot swappable. I'd say just use a switch puller and try it out.
