Marc was indeed arrogant and vain, but as David said, in a charming way. Marc was childlike and you couldn't dislike him despite his hubris, which probably stemmed from subconscious insecurities.
People seem to forget just how young Marc Bolan was. The man wasn't even 30 years old when he died. Marc didn't have the luxury and wisdom of time on his side.😢😢😢

People say it's an exclusive club, all these charismatic people dying before they hit 30 - Bolan, Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, Brian Jones, Winehouse, Cobain, Redding, Vicious, Ian Curtis, Avicii and Helno to mention but a few - but I imagine most of them would rather not be a member.
