Hi David. I am glad you had a nice visit. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to learn more about the area and available homes. All the best
This video without intending to said the same thing that I have observed about Rio Rancho when I lived in around that area over a decade ago. That is that there is nothing distinctive about living in Rio Rancho. It is a bedroom community where people go elsewhere to enjoy the many attractions that New Mexico offers. There are hardly any parks in the town even! In fact about the only distinguishing characteristic I know of about Rio Rancho is its reputation as the Witness Protection Capital of the US!! lol
I'm thinking of relocating from Phoenix. How does Albuquerque manage WATER? I worry about that, been in Phoenix for about 30 years. Getting hotter and much more expensive. Thanks!
I've heard residents say recently that RR's "flat broke". If true then with its long extant population of ~ 98K, either corporate and/or property taxes are too low, government expenditures are too high, top government officials are overpaid, there's too little capital infusions from outside investors, population and/or overall development growth rate is happening too fast chasing too many public services and/or high foreclosure rate. Please provide feedback before I make the possible mistake of retiring to this community in the Land of Enchantment.
Sprawling suburbian development milks US City governments dry, because of how expensive it is to upkeep utilities (Road building, road repair, piping, electricity facilities). Rio Rancho being a prime example.
@@shenkebillie140 The corporate driven bipartisan administered overimmigration legal & illegal conspiracy is what boosts consumption and suppresses wages to well below the inflation rate while swelling voter pools to support machine politics. Meanwhile, over the last 30 years, countless trillions in capital have been exported to tax havens and other IMF subsidized investor friendly nations. So in the US, and especially in poor states like NM, real estate is about the only thriving industry, and even that begin to suffer more as human driven climate change keeps drying out the entire West and setting it ablaze. Humanity has always been its worst enemy. Dumber and dumber.
Thank you for your comment. Here are is a web page and a couple more videos which provide some additional information. I am working on other content with about specific neighborhoods, etc. I am happy to answer questions that you have as well. www.ryersonrealestate.com/fun-things-to-do/rio-rancho-things-to-do , ua-cam.com/video/SJQsAbAu7-4/v-deo.html , ua-cam.com/video/FJHHeZNkB4M/v-deo.html
Thank you for your question. Available services are growing with the completion of two hospitals in recent years - Rust Medical Center and Sandoval Regional Medical Center.
Thank you for responding. I was being lazy and did not look it up. I lived there in the 90s and looking at videos and pictures posted online Rio Rancho has come a long way. It's beautiful 😍
Very informative video thank you I just visited Rio Rancho my parents live there and now I want to look into moving to New Mexico

With all of that open land in Sandoval County why are so many of the homes in RR built on such tiny plots? It's like Queens County, NY.

I would like to know more about living IN Rio Rancho, the amenities like shopping, restaurants, neighborhoods, rather than what surrounds the city.

Getting swallowed by a sinkhole in a second while driving in RR, not cool.
Looks like a dump. Albuquerque? Thats a dump. Santa Fe? Was nice, turned into a dump. You can keep it.
What about quality healthcare?

Crime, homeless panhandling addicts. The town has a sense of desperation. Not good at all. I can think of 101 other places to live.
Rio Rancho is a very boring town. I lived out there for 3 years as a child during the early 1990s. I'm originally from New York.
